Or you could both have some more patience....I had to wait forever to get a word in and I was playing pretty faithfully to my character. I'm sure you'd both like to get to Tython asap but frankly no-one had provided Mizu with an explanation or reason as to why she should help. On top of that Elyria IS acting like a child. If you're going to criticize everytime there's an argument then i'll just stop rp'ing right now because that's the kind of character I have. She gets in peoples faces and makes a general nuisance of herself. I don't jump on Dawson everytime he manages to pull an answer to everything seemingly out of his a** (I'm looking at you, pirate army that is supposedly outnumbering the jedi but can still manage to go undetected. That's a physical impossibility.)

I wasn't really singling you out specifically so I'm sorry if you felt targeted, but it looks like there's also a couple more people who want to jump into the RP and it's a bit hard to include them until we finish up this little tidbit. Huh, as for the pirate army, I'm pretty sure he's only made threats so far and hasn't actually come through with it, so it's safe to assume he may be bluffing.

Yes Dawson is a pirate, a very wealthy business man, a whore, an entrepreneur, and sadly so far all he has gotten to do is talk. I was working on adding some depth and ideally trying to explain where part of this army comes from on Nal Hutta, but that did not go as intended. Once the lot of you on Tython get underway I will reveal some of the forces on Hypori, however I like to keep some level of realism in the roleplay and with perhaps half an hour worth of time passing from the council meeting to where the story is now. It barely gave me enough time to have the ship land some tomorrow I will have them disembark and ideally by friday, fingers crossed, be headed to tython and successfully rapping this bit of the story up.

While I agree with Scuttle that he may be bluffing, it is in fact not impossible to out number the je'daii. They lost coruscant, there was a loss on geonosis, they lost a good portion of their fleet at voss, not to mention who ever was unlucky enough to be trapped planet side once the Empire started to land its fleet. The je'daii are realistically in tatters, There are likely more wookies than je'daii at this point.

My newest character is now updated in My Journal. At least for the exception of feats, abilities, etc. Feel free to read up on him. Will be adding another one around my birthday. The one I will be adding is a Force sensitive Borg/Zerg/Klingon character called Nobunaga Kronos Raynor. He has massive amounts of back-story. I have to get all the races, parentage, and dimension places in the description.

I did not say it was impossible to outnumber the jedi. I said it was impossible to outnumber the jedi AND remain completely hidden. To be honest i'd be surprised if Momo didn't find you before we get to you. Oh and don't even get me started on only being able to talk. I had a nice thing setup where i'd be contracted to kill you and we could've had encounters all over the damn place, but no you weren't having any of that. Soon as I post you shoot any chance of that happening right out of the sky by killing Zebro. Gee thanks so much...Frankly Dawson has shrugged off every little thing that we've tried. He's basically a Mary Sue. He has no weaknesses and as such is just utterly boring. You have basically written yourself into the corner you're currently in because no-one wants to fight you.

Well... you can partially blame me for Dawson getting out of so many scrapes. sweatdrop The first time you tried to kill us by engulfing the room in flames I had Zara make a Force barrier because death or being covered in third degree burns wasn't exactly ideal. The second time when you tried to snipe us I may have been overextending Zara's abilities by having her stop the bullet midair (though in Clone Wars the Jedi all seem to have impossibly fast reflexes and can deflect shots with their lightsabers easily so I guess it's not too far-fetched) but again the alternative was less than ideal. You can go ahead and call Zara a mary-sue but she's frail as all hell and a good punch or kick in the right place would incapacitate her, so I don't think I'm being unreasonable by making her powerful in the Force.

As for the situation on Nal Hutta... this happened because there was no communication between both parties. Tom had something planned out for what he wanted to do on Nal Hutta, and you obviously had something planned that was completely different, and that's why it all fell apart. I'm sorry that you're not happy but hopefully we'll all be able to communicate better in the future because that is something that clearly we all need to work on (including me). I'm not going to lie, I don't like how this situation on Tython was handled at all, but there's no use complaining after the fact and I'm hoping that once we get out of this mess we'd be free to involve all the people who don't have much of an opening for interaction in the story yet like you, fallen, Tom's padawan, etc etc.

I don't think she was upset that he got away unhurt so much as that him walking in on her private conversation with Zebro was most definitely not what she wanted. In truth I don't think anyone would call Zara overpowered. She's clearly not. But to be perfectly honest Dawson is being played in a way that is supposed to make him as powerful as the Emperor, it terms of men and ships, which I totally don't agree with at all. I mean the entire thing with threatening and antagonizing the Je'daii on Tython by holding one, marginally significant, man hostage and then expecting them to just drop everything to do what he wants? Excuse me but what was he thinking? There's no way in hell the je'daii would ever turn over the location of their world to someone who is clearly that dangerous. And I say this as person who's playing a character that cares not one whit for the je'daii. And frankly after we said no to his demands, having his alt give him what we already said no to? No means no. We aren't going to do what you want and you can't just have an alt character ignore his superiors to further your own agenda. It matters not to us if Zara gets hurt. This whole idea that alot of the je'daii have been using of "Not being able to let an innocent girl die" is nonsense. She's not innocent at all, she's a sith. And I thought the je'daii in this rp weren't supposed to be as goody-two shoes as Jedi anyway. What would it matter to them if she died? If anything it's just one less sith to deal with. If I was playing a je'daii as my main character I would have been all for leaving her be and recouping the losses from Voss instead. Instead we have them rushing off to save the person who's responsible for Voss happening, and the je'daii doing so are quite aware that she might be said person.

I think the issue here is that there's a lot of gray area surrounding the Je'daii because the Je'daii in this RP are clearly not going to be following the Je'daii code to a T. The ancient Je'daii order was built off of maintaining balance between both sides of the Force and never veering too close to one side or another... I haven't read the Dawn of the Jedi comics so correct me if I'm wrong but I think the main problem was that those who were too close to the dark side got into conflict with those who were too close to the light side and that's why it fell apart. If the RP were to follow the old Je'daii code exactly would doom them from the start because it'll inevitably happen again. As I see it, it looks like they're playing them much closer to the Jedi but without all the strict rules that discourage things like passion and love/emotional attachment/no fun allowed evarrr and they're not afraid to use certain dark-side abilities as long as they don't let it control them.

Regarding Zara, I regret revealing so much about her motives but that's nothing that can be helped now. Had I played it completely straight, and Zara actually did want to defect and escape the Sith, people would actually acknowledge that she risked a fate worse than death by rescuing Ka'all and fighting by their side on Voss and letting her die would have made the Je'daii total jerks. I don't think it's so obvious that she was responsible for Voss; anyone could have put a tracking device on Endar and followed him there, and Vic had been hanging around the cantina and got into a fight with Zara (with Endar confirming her story), so he was also a suspect, but everyone seems to be ignoring the big reveal that the guy who was supposed to be a friend of the Je'daii was actually a Sith Lord. Granted, Zara's now put in a bad light for being with Dawson after he's holding a Je'daii hostage, so things certainly aren't in her favor.
But I know I would have had more fun if I were less overt about Zara's motives but it's too late for that now.
And the Je'daii didn't have to take the angle about wanting to save her. Believe it or not they actually do have something to gain by taking her in, she's completely incapacitated right now with no way of contacting anyone for backup so it's the perfect opportunity for the Je'daii to interrogate her for information about the Empire (one of the reasons I made Taithu change her mind and support bringing Zara to Tython was because as an ex mercenary and assassin she has a way of making people talk... but maybe that's a bit harder with someone who doesn't have a tongue, lol). It would make less sense though if they just left her to die after they had no problem taking your character to Tython when they probably should have treated him the exact same way they treated Ced. I mean no offense but Logan is shady as hell and I'm still trying to figure out why they trust him. Kuat could just be another trap.
