Pale eyes followed the stranger as the hunt was sprung prematurely and the kill made with a little less skill than Samar was used to, causing one dark brow arched high over moonglow orbs. Once the beast was down and safely dead, Samar stood and stretched his muscular limbs lazily. It would do no good to start his own stalk and be stiff from laying in the grasses, such lack of forethought would cause most hunts to fail regardless if the other circumstances are all in favor.
Pausing to look out at the male beside the now-corpse, Samar frowned faintly. He looked almost..... familiar, now that the lion was up out of the concealing grasses and more visible. The expression deepened as Samar tried to place him, suddenly wary of the fact that he might be near a Toka male at feed time. The Tokas were violent and untrustworthy any way, Samar didn't want to be any where near one while they had fresh blood close by. Who knew how bad their tempers got when they were hungry.
But instinct told him this one wasn't a Toka, which meant he had to be a Druid. The thought allowed Samar to relax a little. If he was another Druid, maybe Samar would offer to aid him, and at the very least it meant there would not be a bloody battle out here today.
