It finally seemed that Landry found a hold to keep the seated Jamie Bader still for a while, giving him a chance to look over the entire situation, gauge his breathing and the breathing of his opponent for early signs of fatigue, maybe spot an injury or a lack of cardiovascular capability, though he sincerely doubted that was the case.
Now that his analysis was over, it was time to move from the secure positon that only supplied minimal pain, to a more advanced maneuver to maintain dominance. He knew how slippery Jamie could be, and so he'd have to take extra care in the maneuver he chose, as well as executing it. He could either commit to his next move slowly and make sure there were no holes in his technique, or quickly so that Jamie wouldn't know HOW to counter. He chose the latter, and in one quick, jerking motion, would try and lift Jamie JUST high enough off the mat to try and turn him on his belly and slam him into the mat, keeping his double chickenwing locked in so that he can limit Jamie's maneuverability as well as keep his body weight on top of him to keep him down.
