Reduced to a blushing, stuttering mess, Ethan tugged at his shirt collar to let out bodily head, but it barely worked. "I-I, umm, w-well...!" He looked at the chair, as if it could show him what lines to use in this kind of situation. "Sh-Shouldn't you find that clue first? Y'know, before the trail gets cold.. or something...?" Knowing his shadow, as soon as they left his bad luck would eagerly devour the station.

The train ride was a slow and quiet one, filled with dreaded silence and quiet fears. Nikolai spoke little and stayed awake even less, simply wanting to forget everything. He was always aware of people that stalked him instead of the natural hatred they felt for him, but this one, Ivan Hawking, was a very persistent and psychotic one. He had nearly burned Leon alive for the sake of taking Nikolai, and now he was back to finish the job.
Nikolai closed his eyes as he heard the train come to a screeching halt. He didn't want to think about what other ideas of what Ivan would do, especially to Leon.
