Dispassionate Watchers:A Knight's GuildMonthly Required RP: Post in this Guild Thread!
Update 1-20-2013 Knights ranks are dwindling, so the Guildmaster has opened applications to the Knighthood! Any Squires wishing to excell and pages looking for glory need apply soon.

A Note from The Guild Below is some basic information about the guild. Its location is on this map as well as the below lore on the subject. Anyone seeking further knowledge will need to ask Frauline Kervein. -Secretary of the Watchers.
Lore of the Watch:
An Age ago...
When the first knights of the realm were established by the King, there was war.
It ravaged lands and homes and both sides, in the end; lost more than they ever hoped to gain.
The Knights who survived vowed not to let this happen again. So they watched from afar, the guild house was their General's home before the war where his family was slain.
Over time they became centries...Guards of the Realm...and some monks of Leanna'En'I-Elen. They and the Order of the Horn are the last of the Lines of true Knights.
Their name became one of injustice not tolerated, anytime they were called they would council before acting, and with their war-ridden faces, the public gave them the title Dispassionate Watchers.
Lore of the Land:
The blood-soaked battlefield left the nearby lake a red shade for years after as it faded back into clear blue of its origin. This is known as the Red lake. Some say it turned the dasies near the water red and they still bloom in mid-summer a brilliant crimson.
There were three knights which began the Watchers; their crests are carved in the guild's stones on the north, west, and south walls.
Several key phrases Identify the DW's members, here are a few;
Greeting: "Still watching the east?" & Reply: "The east is well and good for me." = good answer, "The east has darkened of late," = bad day
"You die with a half-tongue!" meaning, you're a traitor and will always be one. It is especially harsh when said to students/pages/squires. This indicates they will NEVER rank up to knight!
"Until the east is Bright." = See you Tomorow! (friendly)
"(Oh,)Blessed Path!" = Goddamnit! XD
"Will you keep me on your journey?" "I will walk with you (always)." = Lover's Parting.

The Road to Guild Knighthood
Anyone wishing to accept quests* for EXTRA Role Play Points (RPP) may read below...Reminder of Quest Rules: 1. Only one quest may be taken at a time! 2. You can repeat Quests 2 times per Week! (excessive failure will result in a disciplinary hearing!) XD 3. Once A Quest is accepted; I will post a quest thread for you. 4. SOME of these will games of chance (dice etc) 5. You CAN fail a quest. (but try not to...) 6. You may post an introduction and set your own scene if One is not provided for you. 7. DK makes all final rulings and CAN change the rules without prior notice. Gotta keep you on your toes now...You're gonna be a knight right!? (seriously though-- I don't bite... Any questions; please, PM Diekraft Fe-Amon. ^^ ) Reminder! The quests posted here are open to Everyone (of the correct/corresponding rank)!

________________________________ Epic Tier Quests:( Knights Only ) North Shrine Watcher Who? Personal / You ONLY What? Guard and keep up the tasks about the Shrine of Elen (optional deity; you can watch your god/s temple instead if not it will default to Elen's) Where? Shrine of Leanna (optional; see above) When? Anytime. Unlimited Quest: can be completed as wanted... Why? It can be tough going out and fending for yurself. The temple provides shelter and a place of solitude far away from prying eyes of all but the Gods... Take care of them and they will take care of you! Points Available: 8 Can I repeat this Quest? Yes--As many times as you want. (The Gods are watching! ) __________________________
Journeyman Tier (Squires Only) Find Your Faith Who? Personal /You ALONE. What? Find a God/dess to follow for a time. Show commitment. Where? Wherever their temple is located. When? When you are ready to accept a long-term mission. Open ALWAYS. Why? You need a solid statute of morals to be a knight. Finding a good cause and fighting for it is one of them! Points Available: 10 Can I repeat this Quest? Yes--As many times as you need, but you get two less Points for completing it after the first time. (Afterall...Gods hate when their followers constantly abandon them!) Guard the Keep Who? Open; others can join.visit at their own Risk! What? Make the trip to the Keep of Red Lake and make sure it stays safe until the guard can be replenished...Perhaps you find out why all the previous guard died on duty? There is much to find here and treasures to behold. Will you make it through the full moon? Where? The Keep at Red Lake When? When you are ready to accept a long-term mission. Open ALWAYS. Why? The Keep is in danger of attack and ransacking from bandits who live on the edge of the borders of Meardhon! Allow the thieves to enter and you fail... This is a game of cat and mouse; you get to be the cat and kick some bandit-butt! Points Available: 20 Can I repeat this Quest? Yes--As many times as you need. (You are gonna want to bring supplies for this one... ) __________________________ Dark Tier( Other Hired Help Only ) The Dark Path Who? Personal aka YOU. What? Find as much as you can about the Dark Cloaks Where? The Dark Cloaks Guild and surrounding areas! When? Before you do any other Dark Quests to become a knight; prove you are turning over a new one! Why? There is rumors of a Dark Cloak member who seeks to take power...in order to balance that power you are asked to perform a final assasination and ensure Akuma's safety. Points Available: 40 Can I repeat this Quest? Yes--As many times as you want, but you get TEN less Points for completing it after the first time. (Being an assasin is tough! You're lucky to try again once after an attempt on someone's life! ) None Posted... __________________________ Novice Tier :(Pages/ Anyone can do these Quests) Hunter Gatherers ::: Who? Yourself and friends if you like... What? You need to travel into the forest's remains and gather winter supplies! Where ? Forests and surrounding areas. When? 24/7---Only Fall and Winter is this quest available! Why? The winter is coming---Fast it approaches and the supply closet is near empty. Gather things you will need, logs for fire and harvest crops for food, can vegetables and prepare new blankets and clothing for the coming months. Reward: Respect! ... And 15 RP points! 5% Chance: Receive a free Winter Accessory for your mearh! Vermin Exterminator ::: Your Mission, should you choose to Accept... Who: Yourself and possibly friends, the more the better your chances are! What: Find and kill as many vermin as possible! Where: In the Villages and their suburbs. When: ASAP! Why: The locals have had trouble keeping the feral animals (left ambiguous for a reason) out of the crops and hen-houses! Make sure you either kill or relocate all of them and keep the townspeople happy! You're training to be a knight; don't let the people you're protecting think little of you! Reward: 10 RP Points! Mission Two ::: Who: Farmer Appleseed What: Help with the Planting Where: At the Appleseed Farm just out fo the guild's horizon. When: Springtime! Its that time again... Why: He needs a few strong hands to help get the planting started! The growing season will start soon and its that time! "Plowing fertilizing and planting all needs doin', ya'll!" What do you get?: A Lesson in perserveerance and good hard day's work!... and 5 points to knighthood! Please POST this Form in this thread to accept a mission!
