Intro

Mimi was always the matchmaker in her family. At the age of ten, she would always meddle into other people's business and help others fall in love with their dream person that understands each other. Mimi loved to play it. She felt like it was her job.
One day at the age of fourteen, the first day of freshman year in high school, Mimi fell in love at first sight with an unknown student. She never knew the boy's name. Now her friends twist it around and help match her with the perfect boy. Unfortunately, that guy is really popular. How will they ever fall in love with each other?


Plot

On the first day of freshman year in high school, Mimi Evans fell in love at first sight with the popular __________. There's a problem. Mimi and her friends don't even know if he likes her! Her friends don't give up, they will go to the end to find out. But what if they find out that __________ doesn't like Mimi? How will Mimi react?

He's generally fairly quiet but isn't afraid of speaking out and is loyal to the end. He's in the 'popular' crowd for his attitude and close ties with roughly four or five other people that think he's cool, although his style and taste in music is different to theirs. Ciel is generally very loyal and a good friend that always looks out for others. He loves playing the guitar and drawing on anything he can get his hands on. The 'popular' lunch table is half covered with scribbles on one side. L doesn't believe in 'fate' and 'destiny' believing that life is yours for the choosing and that you should run your own future.

Mimi woke up at 6:37 a.m. She was late for school. She hurriedly put on her clothes. She was dressed in a cute, warm, light brown sweater that stop at the length above her knees and a pair of while skinny jeans. She ran downstairs with her backpack and put on her grey ankle boots. Mimi ate her toast. Then her mom drove her to school. She sighed and glanced at her watch. 7:10 a.m. Phew! Just in time. she thought to herself. Mimi speed walked to her locker, just to find her two best friends locker next to hers.

Cameron groaned when her alram clock went off at 6:00 am. She rolled out of bed slowly when her dad called her from downstairs telling her to get up. Grabbing her favorite dark purple V-neck tank top and her white skinny jeans with holes going down the legs she went to her bathroom that was attched to her room and took a shower. After she was done she put on her boots that went up to her knees and her jean jacket that went just above her stomach, grabbed her purse/school bag and headed to school. When she got her locker she saw her best friend Mimi standing next to hers. Hey, amiga. What's up? She said as she opened her locker.

Mimi turned to see her friend Cameron. "Nothing much. You?" she asked. Mimi started zipping open her backpack and putting her books inside her locker. Then the books she needed for her classes stayed in her backpack. As Mimi was about to go to her next class with Cameron. Everyone stopped in the hallway for the most popular girl at school, Brianna.

Ciel Nightshade, someone that had gotten to school at an earlier time, trailed after his friends, who in turn were following the 'infamous' Brianna and several other girls.
Looking bored he drummed his fingers on his once light grey guitar case, now caked in scribbles and messages from friends, the largest message with the words 'property of Deathnote boy' on the side that now faced the masses that had parted in the presence of Brianna.
At first he was tempted to attack his friend Rhys for scrawling the message on there some time ago, but five minutes later the traitorous boy was tackled by his twin friends Jayke and Jakkie. He wasn't sure why the tomboys had chosen to spell their names that way, but the girls were notorious for getting at people's necks, having a sixth sense on what was bothering people. Ciel wasn't totally bothered by the nickname reference but let it stay, it added character.
Like most days, L wore his blue, fur trimmed jacket, a pair of black jeans and doc martens, this time with a random band shirt that fitted his color scheme, this one was of the Beatles.

Out of nowhere, Rhys slapped him on the shoulder.
"Ay, isnt this a bit nuts, ya' know? Being forced to follow Queenie. Just because she's tailing after our mates, yeah?" One version of Brianna's nickname. Queenie. It fitted.
"Well who knows, she might go for you next." The Blue haired teen deadpanned. Rhys flinched but soon was guffawing, like the several other friends who had been listening. It seemed like Queenie hadn't heard them.

Mimi blushed at the sight of Ciel. OMG! OMG! What should I do?! she thought panicking. Mimi was totally in love with Ciel, one of the popular guys. Both her friends and she knew it. She just stood there, not knowing what to do. But he was tenth grader unlike her - a ninth grader.
Brianna pretended not to overhear them talking. Brianna, Mimi's ex-best friend, glanced at Mimi. Knowing that Mimi was head over heels in love with Ciel, she made him her next target. Brianna always gets Mimi's crushes. No matter who they are. She walked over to Ciel. she smile at him. Everyone else walked to their lockers over at the popular side. "Hey," she said. Though she didn't really care to notice him before she was only interested because he, like I said before, was Mimi's crush. She and Mimi were friends long enough for her to know Mimi's type of guy.

Cameron just shook her head as she watched Brianna's little interatcion with Ciel. She knew that only reason Brianna was even talking to him was because Mimi liked him. You know, I'd really like to point to her that she doesn't run everything. Of course I wouldn't do it nicely. She said flatly. And I'm pretty sure she doesn't even know Ciel's name or care what his name is for that matter. She shook her head once more. Adjusting her bag, she tapped Mimi's arm and starting continuing to their classroom. She didn't want Mimi to feel down about it so she felt to the best way to kind of avoid it was to get her away from the situation.

Ciel inwardly swore. Why, he thought, did the powers really hate him that much.
"What do you want Queenie?" The Bluenette said dryly. His friends sniggered. The nickname was actually used because this girl considered herself to be the one that ruled the school. Truth is that most guys thought she was a slut and had a betting pool to see who she'd target (or bed it was rumored) next. Very cruel but she wasn't exactly a nice person. She probably knew that was what the nickname meant.
Myles O'Donald sniggered. Damn him! The annoying blonde had betted on him being picked, his real friends just looked cheated....of their money.
Traitors.
Despite his cool attitude he was inwardly freaking out, luckily only his friends, well the ones that weren't so dense, were the only ones who could see it after lengthy years of being around each other.
The bluenette shoved his guitar case to his side, making sure the girl wouldn't be able to try anything before quickly skirting closer to his friends. They'd better help him or he'd start writing things on their head with permanent marker again.
