Before You Post
There are several things you must do before you post. You are the poster, and it is your responsibility to make sure you are doing things right.
- Know the Rules Although it may take up about a minute of your time and involves a little reading, getting to know the rules is the most important thing you can do. Posting inappropriate things makes you look stupid, and it gives the guild a bad rep. So just take the time to know what's allowed and what isn't.
- What's the Point? Before you post in a thread, make sure you know what the purpose of the roleplay is. Check to see what it is about and think about where it can go. Think about if this is a good topic for you to be involved in.
- Ask Questions First, RP Later If you're not sure about something, ask someone who has more experience than you in the guild. If something doesn't seem right to you, there may be something wrong with it, be it a typo or confusion about a rule. Let the person know that something seems wrong or that you need a little more clarfication and they'll clear it all up for you.
- Self Questions Being a potential poster, you have several questions you should ask yourself. Ask yourself how much you think you are going to participate, how interested you are, and what you have to contribute to the topic. If any of these are none, then you probably shouldn't post.
Keep these in mind before you go ahead and post something.

Basic Conduct
So now that you have descided to post something, keep in mind these geeral rules of conduct.
- Don't be Hatin' If you see something that you don't like (i.e. you don't like Yaoi/Yuri), don't attack someone just because they do like that. We're not here to say that Yaoi/Yuri is bad or anything like that. This is a guild for love of all sorts, not just your ideal "love." If something deeply upsets you, let xoxo_scarletrose know. If it violates the tos, she will make sure the topic is removed or dealt with accordingly.
- Proper Posting Ok, this is a pretty easy one. If ur typn liek tis, ppl wnt t8k u sirusly. A general rule of thumb is to type as clearly and literately as you can. If you dont have college writing skills, that's alright. Just don't type like a monkey. And this isn't in the tos, but it should be. NO LEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It kills the fun for everyone and it's pointless. Just don't do it. Also, if you're in a pretty rapidly responding RP, let them know if you'll be busy for a little while or leaving. It's common curtesy. You wouldn't just walk out on a conversation without at least telling your conversor where you are going. Finally, if you see that people are quoting each other or people arent quoting eac other, try to go along with the flow. It makes a lot of things simpler for everyone.
Alright, so if you practice these, you'll be on your way to being a more successful roleplayer.

Responsibilities
That's right, you have responsibilities here too. You are the poster, and you make the guild what it is. A guild without people is just like a presidency without a country. In essence, you are the guild. Since you are the guild, you have some guild responsibilities you must take care of.
- Reply Promptly What keeps a roleplay going is the constant replies from it's members. I'm not saying that if you can only get online once a week you're a bad roleplayer. Yeah, daily responses would be nice, but everyone has their own schedule, and that's all right. Just try to respond as frequently as you can.
- Your Task This guild needs your support if it is to stay alive. If you don't keep this guild alive, who will? Get the word of this guild out to other people, promote it. Get your friends to join, then they'll tell two friends, and they'll tell two friends, and they'll tell two friends, and so on, and so on, and so on (100 points if anyone gets the reference).
The bottom line is that the guild is what you make it. If you don't care about the guild and you could care less about what happens to it, that's all it will be to you. But if you care about it and want to see it grow and become popular, it will if you put some effort into it.

Future Posting
You're probably thinking "Aggh, I'm so tired of reading what this guy has to say about Roleplaying!" Don't worry, this is the last one, I promise. Maybe ;P
- Take What You Learned Imagine this. You were in a roleplay that lasted for what seemed like forever. You loved to roleplay there, but eventually the thread just died. You've had so many experiences on it. You had 2 girlfriends through it, countless adventures, and you even got laid once. It was like a whole other world, and it was your world. It even had 3758 pages to it, but now it's nothing. What do you do now? The answer is simple. Take what you learned and apply it to different roleplays. The end of one story is the beginning of a new one. Get out there and roleplay again. Heck, you can even repost the idea for the roleplay you loved so much. That's the true spirit of roleplaying.
- Seperation of Characters Let's say you have many different and diverse characters in equally different and diverse places. It get's hard to maintain all those characters at the same time. I would personally suggest keeping your character's profile on you while you roleplay, even if you only have one character. It helps better seperate you from your characters.
~
Well, that wraps it up. Follow this instruction guide and you'll be good to go! Remember, if you have ANY questions, contact one of the guild crew for assistance. Thank you for reading this, and happy roleplaying! <3
