The lavender leopard lounged along a tree branch. A single leg dangling free over the side of the curved length. Fanning his eyes slowly, Mosi blinked between darkness and light. Fighting the urge to nap so early. But with the way the sun warmed his fur and just how lovely that breeze was, which periodically rolled through was a perfect cocktail of contentment.
It was nice to be alone, moreso when other adults weren't around. Mosi didn't like the awkward silence. A front he needed to put up to keep his own lack of intellect a mystery to all others in the pride. Having been conditioned to retain a stoic, almost snooty expression any time someone bothered to speak with him. All out of habit, not meaning to appear as such.
His body tensed momentarily, and the male heard the familiar sound of bones cracking. Heaving a content sigh, the leopard relaxed into a comfortable lump. Glassy eyes fixed on the puffy clouds that slowly rolled by over head.
