[St. Anne, Warriors Guild]
gaia_angelleft gaia_angelright
Approaching the Guild, one could not dismiss the high walls surrounding the place, as they stood about 70 feet high. Although made of common stone and brick there were Celestial runes carved into the broad surface of the walls. A low, nearly inaudible vibration hummed from the runes, the sound of a dormant magical energy kept prepared as a security measure for direct threats. The gate itself was not nearly as tall as the surrounding walls, reaching up to 10 feet, however it was thick and made of metal. On the face of either gate door, the statues of two Arch Angels had been crafted into the metal, each one holding their swords and shields with nobility. It was a symbol for all who wished to join the guild, a message that they could one day become an elite warrior to serve and protect Heaven.
Two heavily armored Celestials would guard the front gate, usually silent unless addressed. Passing through the gate, one would see the open courtyard where warriors and visitors could relax or mingle. A fountain had been built at the center of the courtyard, new stone laid around it as if to cover up a giant hole in the ground. The courtyard itself curved out to form an imperfect hemisphere, statues of Celestial warriors lining the outside of the opening.
Moving ahead, the Guild itself was next to be seen. There were several entrances into the building but the main hall could be accessed easily through the front, larger door. Once inside, one would notice a spacey waiting room and a front desk stationed by an older looking man. This man obviously had seen many battles but his days of fighting had ended. Behind him was a giant board with various papers and flyers pinned to it. One could assume missions and quests were posted there.
Exploring the guild would reveal numerous training rooms, a dining hall, several housing and bathing quarters, equipment storage, offices and shops. At the back of the building, when one explored through the halls of the guild there was another large door which led to the arena. Large groups of people trained here regularly and one could almost always here the clashing of blades and armor from the arena.
The arena itself was dirtpacked and was surrounded by the rest of the Guild's wall. There was seating available for crowds as occasionally events were held within the arena. However there wasn't anything too significant about this area at first glance.

[The forest to the west of St. Anne & Naya's Cottage ]
gaia_angelleft gaia_angelright
To the East side of St. Anne, a line of trees start about three (3) miles away from the wall that boarders the city. This is the beginning to a thick, dense forest where several wild, mythical creatures call home. Various wild herbs, fruits can be found as one travels deeper into the forest. Most of the flora is safe to consume or touch. About ten (10) miles into the forest, one can find a lake. There is no clear path to it though. However, about a mile in lies the home of Naya, an Enchantress who chooses to seclude herself.
There is one narrow and winding path to the cottage that goes on for about half a mile. At the end is a small clearing that encompasses the cottage. There is only a well and an apple tree in the yard, but otherwise there is nothing notable. The cottage itself is made of wood, most likely from the same type of tree surrounding it. Finely crafted and well built, the cottage is small and has a chimney which often bellows out smoke. In the back there is an entrance to a cellar but the doors are locked. The cottage is well kept but there doesn't appear to be many signs of life aside from the smoke coming from the chimney and the dim lights illuminating from the windows as night falls.

[Ragnarok, Capital of Hell]
gaia_nitemareleft gaia_nitemareright
The Capital City of Hell, Ragnarok, had changed over the last five years. Kikyo's Castle had been destroyed by Oni all so he could turn Ragnarok into a city worth being part of. At the northernmost edge of the city laid the Mountains of Draupnir. Built into this mountain range was Oni's new Palace, aptly named Ukia Manor. As you head south-west from Ukia Manor you would travel through the military part of the town. Weapon, Armor, and Magical Accessory shops on either side of you, each competing with the other. These shops would continue on until you would find yourself at a building that would equal the size of Ukia Manor.
This was The Warriors Guild. It handled all type of missions that needed to be taken care of. From Scouting to Assassination and everything in between. You could even pay to spend the evening with the Succubi or Incubi if that's what you were in the mood for. The Guild was always filled with the sounds of screaming and roars since the Arena was in the back. Warriors would gather to test themselves and try to prove that they were worthy to join the forces of Hell. Of course this meant they had to impress only one person, and he wasn't easy to impress. Oni spent most of his time here in the Arena fighting aspiring warrior after aspiring warrior in the hopes of finding someone worthy of being more than cannon fodder in his army.
South-East from Ukia Manor was the Merchant part of town. This area had everything you could ever hope to find that wasn't Military based goods. This was the most bustling area of town, all manner of Unholy creatures gathered here buying and selling things that they need or don't. Food, clothing, jewelry, maps, and other things. At the easternmost edge of Ragnarok was the Merchants Guild. The Merchants Guild handled all the paperwork of the Merchant part of town. Merchants were the only ones to ever venture into the Merchants Guild since they were the only one's with business there.
Directly south of Ukia Manor was the residential district of Ragnarok. Here you would find the homes of the creatures that resided in Hell. This is also where you could find a stiff drink if you needed one with a few bars spread out throughout the residential district. The most notable bar would be Mjollnir. This bar was run by Kaldari Amor, an Energy Vampire that had connections to Oni himself. All credible information in Ragnarok passed through this bar, and all from Kal himself who seemed to have ears everywhere. Of course you still have the street-ears that hid in the darker corners selling information to the highest bidder, or the person that scared them the most. Although the information was never credible, it was cheaper than going through Kal for information. Most of the street-ears ended up dead after giving bad information to the wrong demonic entity.

[Location: Ragnarok City, Mjollnir]
At the southern most edge of the city lied the most well known building in Hell, Mjollnir. Black marble floors were offset by the white marble table tops. The walls made of dark mahogany adorned with all sorts of pictures of the bars owner, Kal, with different people. The bar itself was in the back left corner of the first floor. The bar stools made of a metal that was extremely hard to come by since they were made by a steel demon, the tops covered in a fine velvet. The bar itself was just as nice as the stools, made of the same mahogany as the walls, but had an inlay of gold tribal designs. The bar top was white marble, which provided a great surface for unruly demons to have a lesson taught to them.
The right wall of the first floor had a stage for the house band, which was currently off duty due to the time of day. The most sophisticated of equipment rested on the stage waiting for the band later that night. Each wall had booths lining them, each with the same soft velvet seat covers, and white marble table tops.
Next to the bar were the stairs leading to the second story, the housing part of the bar. Couldn't very well let the demons leave drunk so they could pick fights now can we?
From the looks of things, it was just your average high dollar bar, but to those that know the right things to say it was a completely different place. Kal had his hand in almost every pie in Hell. He held information on everything based around Hell, even the exact location of Oni at all points in times. In the back room of the bar was nothing more than a set of stairs that led down. Only those accompanied by Kal could proceed down those stairs and any that ever spoke a word of what was down there disappeared as did who they told.
Kal stood behind the bar staring at a picture on the wall. It was a picture of Negi, Oni, Arc, and himself back in the old days before they cared about the war. After the last war Kal had lost contact with both Arc and Negi. He knew what Negi was doing but had been putting in every effort to find out anything about Arc, and Cruxis.

[Location: The Moon]
Earth's one and only Moon, the largest satellite body orbiting Earth. Long Lost Legend's tell of it once being inhabited by a very powerful angel; one whom had built a temple to Heaven inside of it and used it for conducting Alchemic experiments and extrapolations.
Typically, such legends are called "Moon Tales" and where we acquire the terminology. As with all Moon Tales of any origin, the original ones typically claim incredulous things like "The Moon contains a direct portal to the highest level of Heaven."
Or "The secret to Immortality and Eternal Youth are locked away in the vast, expansive, Alcemic and Magical Library there."
or "During the last war, a gigantic 'Moon Cannon' rained Alchemic Beams of Death upon Hell's Legions--(Or even more laudable), destroyed over 90% of Hell itself!"
Any questions to any (reliable) authorities on the subject are met with silence, glares, and other such avoidance, if that is any indication of credulence.
Even the one documented attempt at discussing with Heaven and Hell's leaders led to similar results.
Nevertheless, Moon Tales persist and our general fascination with the Moon will probably lead to a never ending fountain of fables.

[Location: Yabbashael; City square mostly]
The bright and bustling city of Yabbashael lay before them. They were currently at a more quiet section of the grand city, as the cathedral was a place everyone kept in high reverence. But soon they would be beyond that quadrant and into the more active and noisy square. They had previously been walking through streets that were lined with tall buildings on either side, but now that there was a gap, the buildings that loomed over them was all the more apparent. The square held many shops, attractions, and vendors. It wasn't that much different than a lot of places on Earth, other than the Celestials flying around, or the totally foreign look of the structures. There was a different elegance to them than any human could achieve, and in many aspects that was due to the nature that surrounded the pathways and crept over the environment. It was obviously not overgrowth or age that had the plants thriving there, the greenery enhanced the beauty of the place. It wove and wrapped itself around the city, offering its own personal touch. It made Heaven seem more friendly, more welcoming, more dreamy, as if everything here worked together to form the perfect world.

[Location: Underground prison]
Deep beneath the city of Yabbashael lies a dark and dreary dungeon. Only the most dangerous of people are brought here, as each cell is built from stones laced with angelic runes that prevent the use of every power the Celestials have come into contact with. Not only that, but each captive is suspended in the air by a magical field of energy, with their body movements restricted. One could possibly escape from this if they could bear the pain. At the slightest use of a power, your body is placed under an incredible strain of ancient and magical energies. This could easily render you unconscious, and will even kill a weaker body, so trifling with it is not recommended.
Once outside of the prison cells there is a long hallway leading to a large metal door at the end with guards stationed outside. Passed them you are led into an intricate labyrinth. This maze's central point is the mysterious lake that sits beneath the city. Many rumors have started about this body of water, but nothing has truly been confirmed...
Almost every single path you take leads to the lake, revealing roughly 30 openings into the rocky cave. Some merely wind their way back to the lake, others lead to dead ends, some to unpleasant surprises, and some run into multiple other pathways that double back on themselves before ultimately leading back to the underground grotto. Not even Alexandria and her guards know where all the paths lie, but they do know how to reach the prison, and how to reach the exit back up to the city streets.
