I'd have to say "A Clockwork Orange" remains one of the most disturbing movies I've seen. For pure horror, I've seen a few really yucky ones... but "Hellraiser" has stuck with me probably because it was the first real horror movies I saw. I was not prepared. lol

I'd say "Grave of the fireflies". It's an animation movie made by Isao Takahata. It's not scary movie but it's more of a disturbing one. It's a great movie, but it makes you think of the war and the cruelty that goes along with it. Especially to children...

Oh my - yes! I agree with that being a tough one to watch. Probably one of the saddest things I've seen and it's animation!

Yeah. I some how thought it would be more "mellow" but it really doesn't glorify the war. I think it's a good way to make a such movie because then the main idea isn't overwhelmed by special effects or so on if the movie would be with "real" settings.

Exorcist scared the crap out of me when I was younger. I had issues sleeping for a while.. I would close my eyes and see that face!

But now I can not get enough of stuff like that... I think it scared me so much, that some how it put a curiousity in me to watch more stuff like it.

I would have to say Perfect Blue. Any normal horror movie, didn't bother me since you could easily have your ideas who the killer is, but with PB being animated, you easily get lost in everything that is going on, and the true killer isn't the one you thought it was.

I'd never heard of that one. I'll have to check it out.

@Soul - I agree The Exorcist remains a classic.

I thought of another one that has stayed with me... Donnie Darko. Very bizarre.

Just so you know, Perfect Blue is not for kids. ^_^() There is a rape scene in it, and after that, that's when the true psychological thriller starts.

... the hills have eyes. But not it as a movie, it's the part where they hold a gun to a babies head. I started crying the instant that popped on the screen. I couldn't take it.

I'm not sure I can answer my own question lol
What would I do with 1 million if I had to spend it completely frivolously? I guess a little here and there with things like this site. I'd have Gaia cash coming out my ears. Maybe I could buy an island and fly everyone there for an extended holiday. Of course there's always commission a giant statue of Exxos made entirely out of chocolate. smilies/icon_xd.gif

Hmmm... I am having a problem with the concept of frivolousness. Anything that I would deem to buy would have to have some purpose or value.

Going on Amazon and buying an insane amount of old RPG books? Buying enough LEGO to build a castle larger than I am? Proper medical care seems like a purposeless money pit in my case.
