He wins from out front, and he wins from behind. I think this championship will really cement his legacy, not just for his streak, but in how he won number five as well, coming from behind.

And say what you will about the Chase, I personally can't stand it anymore, but eleven other guys had the chance to step up. One even had an advantage going into the last race, but blew it.

So congrats Jimmie on number 5.

Now, can someone please step up and take him down in 2011?

I think what bites me the most about this one is the fact that EVERYTHING was in place for him to lose it this year. History, strong teams, pit crew struggles, time, points, fans, chad knaus, horsepower was against him..but somehow despite all that rubble he pulled through..I mean its amazing that he did win it.

if anyone can try to JJ it could be maybe Jamie McMurray or a Gibbs car. They had an amazing 2010.Roush Fenway steped up their game last year. With changes goin around at Hendrick, another team can win beside jimmie.

You have to remember though. In the years that Jimmie Johnson won the title, he won it

The first time completely in the old car.
The second time splitting time in the old car and the new car.
Third and fourth times with the new car.
And the fifth time with the new car with a different spoiler.

It's going to take more than a "few changes" to rattle this bunch.
