• ❥ personality: Santi is a bit of a moron. And saying "a bit", in the grand scheme of things, is in fact a rather generous understatement. To be entirely blunt, Santi is a complete ditz. If ever there was an organized though process in the wolf's mind for more than a split second, the world would end. Because of this, Santi has a small problem with direction - which is to say that stepping out of the house is very dangerous for him because becoming lost is as easy as "one-two-three." But then again, Santi probably couldn't stay focused long enough to count that far. The canine is much like a cat endlessly trying to chase its own tail, though with his nature, when he bites, he bites to kill. Santi relies mostly on his instincts to get him through the day and keep him alive, as his brain is far less reliable. Not to say Santi is stupid, only that asking him to remember where he was going five minutes ago would result in a blank stare and the chorus of crickets in the background. The wolf has a habit of trailing off, often talking in broken sentences and run-on thoughts that segway into the strangest things. That is to say if you can keep him in awake long enough for a decent conversation. Santi is an all together drowsy creature, and likes to keep on the in one place when he isn't either socializing or eating.
Then again...
One of the first things to know about Santi is that he is still, in fact, a carnivore. And on top of that, he is a carnivore with a bottomless pit for a stomach. Some people exaggerate when they joke that they have endless stomachs, because even they get full. That does not seem to be the case with the wolf. Santi eats whatever is thrown to him, save for the occasional vegetable and things with less meat than bone. The wolf's appetite is easy to satiate, along with the rest of his wants and needs. However, his appetite sometimes gets him into trouble. Being the carnivorous creature by nature that he is, Santi finds himself attracted to the prey of the food chain, and not the sort of attraction that ends in kisses and hugs. Despite Santi's best intentions, the wolf has his incurable instincts, and they tell him to bite what should be dinner. That includes any hyte that has the genes of the wolf's natural prey mixed in. Though Santi can usually control himself enough to keep in line, there are times when the wolf controls him into snapping his jaws, becoming more of an animal than the human form he has.
But dont be mistaken, Santi is, over all, a very gentle creature for the most part. On a normal day, he wouldn't think to hurt a fly, his scatterbrained personality leaving it hard for him to remember to finish a hunt or even run after prey for more than a few minutes. Though because of the creature he is, Santi is regarded by strangers usually as a threat. They seem him as the big, bad wolf, and the canine has more often than not crossed paths with those who judge based on looks rather than the personality underneath. Because of this, Santi tries and tries hard to dissuade people from that idea. He likes to accommodate others, he likes to serve, he likes to be useful, he likes to be accepted. Santi may not hold many thoughts in his head at once, but one that is always there is the underlying worry of rejection. Because of that, Santi is more often than not attempting to be the person that whoever he is in the company of at the time would like to be with, though that is always, always easier said than done. Santi can easily be stepped on at times because of this, and though it is extremely difficult to get his nerves tangled and bunched and shocked into anger, it is possible, and he can tell when he is intentionally being used. Santi's anger is usually what draws out the canine in him the most, making him a dangerous person to be around when his emotions are on overload. Despite Santi's deepest wishes, he is still a predator, and hunting and killing prey is still coded into his DNA just as much as his need to accommodate other is.
However, as accommodating as Santi would like to be, he is not outgoing, nor is he one to actively seek out people to interact with. While the wolf can attempt to be social, he is more interested in two things. Eating and sleeping. As if in an endless bought of drowsiness, Santi prefers to stay in one place than to be on the move. The wolf is not unaccustomed to falling asleep in strange places, and it would not be a surprise to find him passed out on your living room floor. While the canine does not actually have narcolepsy, he is in a rather endless loop of sleepiness, and because of that, whenever he gets the slightest hint that napping is possible, he'll take it, if only to cure himself of the constant what was I just thinking? and the hassle of having to be awake. Because of Santi's strong will to sleep, and his scatterbrained demeanor, the wolf is often considered a bit socially inept. A bit once again being a  generous understatement. Santi prefers keeping his tongue in line, and listening or trying to listen, instead of being the one in the spotlight. The wolf is aware that he is not the best candidate for a good focus award, and in fact is simply dreadful at the whole concept of it. Blurring the lines between being a dreamer and a realist, Santi's combined fear of rejection, and the idea that people dont tend to like his absentminded trailing sentences and mid-sentence cut offs leave him on the threshold between wanting to interact with others, and staying in his comfort zone until someone walks into it.

• ❥ personality: Quiet and serious, Remiel is constantly baffled by humans and human things, and even more so than that, he has no idea how to react to them. Something of a social failure, Remiel keeps himself locked up at home on most days and out of reach of such strange creatures other than himself. A bit of an introvert, the angel doesn't speak unless spoken to and is firm but gentle. He keeps a quiet, controlled reign over his household, though his peace is shattering with the arrival of both Santi and a few other loud, brash people that he did not really want hanging around. Remiel does indeed like silence and is very awkward in actual conversation as he is not sure what is "proper" when talking with others. A gentle soul, the angel tries not to harm what he doesn't have to, and doubts himself quite a lot as he is growing more and more used to human emotions.
• ❥ background: Remiel was given Santiago to look after because Noire was far too lazy to do it it would have been unjust to leave the wolf to roaming the wilderness like it so wanted to do as a child. Especially when all the wolf did other than roam was sleep and try to find good food. Remiel has a long, twisted, probably somewhat gruesome history that no one other than Noire is fascinated with, thus it will not be written ( because she is very lazy. ) Remiel does not really care for the gaian population nor does he see fit to understand their strange customs and as such is relatively hard to get to know unless someone else is extremely difficult or determined. He has fallen into a human occupation ( 'cause lets face it, living forever and not doing anything gets pretty boring ) and now works as a novelist. Mostly because it keeps him in the house and far out of human hands and that whole nasty business of socializing. However, Remiel's household has been invaded by a few less-than-savory characters as of late leading to a less-than-peaceful life.
