What kind of role play would you take part in?

I was thinking of starting a role play on here and I wanted to get an idea what kind would float your boat?

You know I'll jump into anything if you run it.

But I'd rather hear about the mood and theme of your game than the setting.

Greetings, and pleased to make your acquaintance, Icy, Arch.

I am Exor, and I am something of an accomplished writer, as far a Gaia tends to go.

I can run with anything in anything. I can make it go, but I tend to cease doing so if I am the only one running a story. I don't write for me all that much.

The point of this post is that I would enjoy a great story. The setting is almost secondary when you have quality elements.

For what it's worth, however, I'd lean towards a sci-fi RP at the time being.

Ex, I have been cankering the last few weeks, completely random, of that one rp you were talking about before you left. The one where I had my hackerchick and the world was all...cyberpunkish-something-along-those-lines-I-just-woke-up-and-can't-think-well? Well, forget her, I want to play her sister, 'L'. xd

It was called Cyberpunk, and since Lore dropped, I've lost a good deal of material. However, it is me we're talking about; I could still make it work - I still have all the setup and R & D resources and materials for it!

Hmm you mentioned a sci/fi role play. I don't have a lot of ideas for one but as long as it could be impromptu with a dash of kitsch in it, I'm down for that.

I'd kind of like to run a game in the Trinity universe some time.

It's science fiction and kind of has a cyberpunk feel to it, although the setting book specifically says your consciousness never physically enters cyberspace, which I suppose is rather the definition of cyberpunk.

I just bring this up in Icy's thread because I've been wondering which guild to run it in.

And if I can count on 2+ geezers playing I'd prefer to run it here.

I think I misread the last few posts: If either of you are going to start such a game obviously I'll make a character and join in instead of running it.

I'd join any sort of space western. Whether it's Kirk-era Star Trek, or Firefly, or Cowboy Bebop, or even Blade Runner.

Okay so maybe Blade Runner is too urban to qualify as a western. But there's lots of space cowboy shows out there, you get the picture.
