Dahabu pawed at his nearly full-grown mane as he looked at his reflection in one of the few clear pools of water in the jungle. It was ODD, having so much FLUFF on his neck and head. But it wasn't as odd as seeing how...PRETTY Jasiri was getting. If he could have, he would have blushed. His old playmate, his closest friend despite all she'd put him through...was getting to be very pretty, and very definitely NOT a cub anymore. Which meant two things...

One, they would be able to look for his mother soon. Two...he was going to have to figure out how to treat her. Did he treat her like a lady? Did he still play with her and wrestle with her? Did he do both somehow? Ugh...this made his head hurt.

Jasiri grinned as she sat perched in a tree above her best friend/toy. And he wasn't even paying attention. It was perfect. Oh...she'd get him back for the time he'd snuck up on her. And for making that damned 'emo face'. There would be NO 'emo' on her watch! Not for her toy! She chuckled and jumped down.

"GOTCHA!"

The black and gold lion practically jumped out of his skin and went to claw at whoever had landed on him. And relaxed when he saw it was just Jasiri. "Oh geez...way to scare me, 'Siri." Crap...she had a habit of showing up when he thought of her. "What's up?"
