I don't mind if they don't reply to a report, just as long as I know that they took care of whatever I reported. Sometimes they don't even do that and when we ask why it takes a while for reports to be taken care of, they complain of a very long report queue. We have many mods. Having a long report queue should not be an excuse now.

If they don't reply, how do I know they did anything? That's my annoyance.... ._.;
Maybe they have to sift through all the crap reports...? I'm not sure. A simple reply like we're working on it would be nice. Though if that's all they say on the matter would kind of suck.

I hate how they don't even BOTHER to properly look into it when it's a nack/scam accusation. Like someone gets a presentt, and apparently, it's hacked. In fact, half of the time, the items aren't even hacked!! I gave my friend a yama no tamago. ((He loves katana)) I BOUGHT IT from the marketplace. I then later sent it on to my friend, who later got banned for having a hacked item. BIG SURPRISE though, they didn't ban me, who according to them, had the hacked item in the first place. Guilds? Corrupt. Another firend of mine had a guild, yes, it was riske, but it was pg thirteen. He went out to get some groceries for a couple of hours. He comes back, and all of a sudden, his account was banned. Mods story- Someone went into your guild and posted a lot of porn, and it's YOUR responsibility to stop that. Apparently, that didn't even happen. Simply a mod that didn't like him was looking for an excuse to lock his guild and man him. ((He got another mod to look into it, there was no sign of porn or anything even ever posted like that in the guild)) Of course, she ook this to the other mods, but was threatened to have her mod-ness taken from her if she ever brought it up again. -Hate !!

First off, not digging the rainbow wall of text. Please refrain from using it, as it's a major eyesore.

Secondly, yes. The mods are EXTREMELY corrupt, IMHO. They can say whatever they want to to get you banned, and use fear mongering tactics to keep users in line. If you get a mod cross, be in for a world of hurt, because they can (and it looks like a lot of the time, WILL) ban you for nothing, then stall the appeal process to make sure you never get your account back. Stalking is another one of their bad habits, watching you until you slip up for a chance to get you.They can harass you all they want, and you can't do anything back because they'll ban you for harassment of them.

I find it disheartening that there's nothing you can do against them, as they have all the power. -__-

I dont like it much either, but my other rainbow ((made with gaia colours) is oo bright. and black is not an original colour, so I find it rather boring. ((Only in typing, mind you. I love black))
I'll try and refrain if I must though.

I hate that about mods. They threatened another mod just for sticking up for my friend. he had been on gaia for YEARS. He had so much stuff that he just....lost. Because some mod just said so and disliked him. Not goood.

I guess it's just a habit for me then, being a former mod assistant and always keeping track of my reports and thread moves and checking on them every once in a while.
I think it would be easy on them if they charged like 100g per thread report you make, and for each report a mod successfully handles, that 100g will be refunded back. If not that, something to make the crap reporters think twice before reporting crap.

But would that stop a mod from doing that kind of crap? Not to mention I'll report several threads a day, I've only ever gotten a response on two. So that's... at least 500g a day gone and maybe 200g back once every... year. That's not good for me because I'm on several quests, including saving up enough to host contests in my clan, and I don't have a lot of time to spend on Gaia making up for the 100g I'd lose every time I reported a misplaced thread or a harassing post.

It doesn't have to be gold, but if they could come up with a way with making those misusing the report system think twice, maybe it'll help ease the jobs of the mods who actually do work do what they're assigned to do. It's obvious that saying they'll ban people who misuse the report system isn't working...they need to come up with something else.

My hacked friend asked a mod about his report today. Mod said they couldn't find it. ~~; Nice. I told him to resend it. He was hacked about 2 weeks ago so...Most likely he won't get anything back.

That does sound like a good idea though, charging gold for report. Though that might make people less likely to report, even if it's a good one.

Couldn't find it after only two weeks? I can call bullcrap on that. I was hacked a while back and they were able to find my hacking report AND return items after the report sat there for 6 months. sweatdrop

He also didn't write down the confirmation number. ~~; I'm going to message him again to talk to a diff mod about it this time.
I don't see how they can lose a report... They should get right on a report as soon as they get it, shouldn't they? ._.; I dunno.
