"I doubt King Mark would like us going back empty handed, but I guess we have no choice." Pyne said softly as he picked up his things. "Well, let's get going." He said softly.

Jaede patted Devin. Her face was still blank, but it was calmer. She still felt her guilt and believed it to be her fault. The one thing she listened to out of Alyxis speech was that sitting down wasnt going to help. For all she knew, it wasn't her fault, but Alyxis hadn't been there, She hadn't seen the man in the tophats mad attempt to get to her. She hadn't heard him utter the name she had chosen without being introduced. Something about the whole situation told Kaede that it was her fault that the man had come to Merkia. Even if she couldn't have helped what happened to Winter, the pure fact that she had brought him to her made it her fault. She wondered what Mark and Kurenai would do. The thought filled her with dread. She got up to follow them.

Alyxis pulled her bag higher, "We are not empty handed, we have lots of information. I have more from here, than anywhere else."  

[Tall Italian Boy]

"Alright, well let's get back to Merkia." Pyne said as he started to walk in the direction of the city.

Kaede suddenly remembers Tiberius, waiting for them back in Flanys. "Wait! What about Tiberius?"

Alyxis looked at Pyne then back at Kaede, "You're right to be concerned about leaving him alone, but would he be okay in a large, busy city full of vampires, werewolves, and other magic users? I don't want to leave him alone by himself but..."

"Well, we'll go through to see him again on our way. If he wishes to come with us, he can come. Although, we will have to tell him what lies where we're going." Pyne said and started to walked towards the city of snow.

Kaede nods and follows.

Alyxis stepped into her old foot steps to walk back with less resistance.

Darkness... all around, total darkness... the man couldnt remember anything anymore, couldnt feel anything. he simply sat, against the facilities wall, though he couldnt feel it behind his back. he couldnt feel anything, anywhere. he couldnt remember anything about where he had been, or who he was. but the whispers, the pleading, the constant droning, crying out, demanding their freedom, their revenge, demanding he rip the facility apart around him. demanding he save them, that he kill them, that he leave them alone, that he never leave them be, that he listen to their every word. all the voices, all the horrors... leonard had finally snapped. giving in to the horror of all he had done, to so many people, the horror the crystallis had gone through, finally breaking through his mental barriers, all this... such madness... Leonard had withdrawn, his persona all gone now, the crystallis now waring over his mind... and only one won out..

standing, ignoring anyone around him, Leonard opened his eyes. no longer were they bright and attentive, no longer picking up every detail and understanding, no longer caluculating, now just hungry, wanting only one thing. in the war for his mind, only one crysallis had won. that one being the one which granted Leonard his power to absorb more crystallis from others if he could make physical contact with them... and it wanted more. unaware Leonard was already on the brink of burning out from the number of them already within his body, the crystallis now driving his actions had no concern for it's host, no desire to preserve his form. instead, it wanted only to draw in all the crystallis it could... and it could sense two already. facing in the direction of jillin's university, Leonard brought his claw up, energy arcing across the metal talons, a red flickering glow painting the hallway crimson, before a bolt was fired, slamming into the walls and ceiling, and dissapating across the surfaces. scowling, the crystallis in control hadnt realized the facility could stop leonard's energies, and leonard's eyes become aware and intelligent once more, Leonard's memories at the crystallis' disposal. spreading Leonard's wings, his panels, arcing through the halls from where they had been, took a position in the air behind him, Leonard looking an all new kind of dangerous, looking much akin to a feral beast. With one beat of his wings, Leonard shot forth, down the hall quickly enough to cause loose papers, scattered in the abandonment of the facilty, to get blown around after him, as he shot out through the main enterance, a crimson glow surrounding him. shooting off towards jilin's, Leonard was little more than a crackling ball of death, hell bent on filling this urge to gather more crystallis.

Len let out a hissing sound, not liking what was going on. She latched onto the end of his pantleg and was hurtled into the air after him.
