1 ) Don't use Tinyurl or HTML codes.
2 ) Do not post adult dragons
3 ) Post your dragons in code tags
4 ) Do not post your dragons twice
5 ) Do not quote the main page
6 ) Do not put "done" in your post. It is added when your dragons are added.
7 ) Identify each egg by breed or post the image with the code.
8 ) Please do not modify the codes at all. Just copy and paste them directly into the code tags, no editing or capitalization needed.DO NOT PUT QUOTES IN THEM, EITHER. It is worse than ignoring code or using tinyurl.
9 ) Even if you are not a member of this Guild, you can post your eggs. So please don't repeatedly delete your requests from the sanctuary. We can see how many times you've deleted you post. So don't be afraid, every dragon is treated equally. You do, however, have to be a member of Gaia to post your eggs.
10 ) Do not add eggs that are not yours, and any abandoned bred eggs are included in this. This is due to rules of dragcave. Emergency eggs are no exception. The only time you can post someone else's eggs is if you have gotten their permission for you to post them BEFORE you post them; don't post the eggs and ask your friend/family member/whoever later.
11 ) Do not edit your post if it has "Done", "PM'd", or "Removed" in it. Instead, make a new post with any dragons you would have edited in.
12 ) If you hide your dragon or are going to hide it, please specify the breed in text.
Failure to follow the rules will result in your eggs and/or hatchlings not being added to the Sanctuary.

When you post your dragons, we ask that you put your codes in "Code Tags" so that we can easily copy and paste them right into the Sanctuary. To do this, follow this format:

You can also use the code button near the top of your text box when typing a post. Press it once before you paste your dragon's code, and once after you have pasted it. Also, be sure to tell us the type of your dragon(s) or post the dragons themselves, so we know which section to put it in.
Still need help? Feel free to post in the main forum or contact me (Lokumun) or another mod. If you do it right, it should look relatively like one of the first two examples below.

Both of these examples are fine because they give BB Code in code tags and label which code is for which breed of dragon. Note that you do not have to actually say "Please add my dragons!" You can say pretty much whatever you want instead of that phrase.

Q: What is the Egg Sanctuary's purpose and how does it work?
A: The Egg Sanctuary is a neat way for all of us to get our eggs and hatchlings to grow. You post your eggs and hatchlings here (following the acceptable examples above), and a mod adds them to the first page. With everyone's eggs and hatchlings all in one place, they get the maximum benefit from the members here.
Q: Can I post my adult dragons here?
A: No. Adults are not allowed in the Sanctuary.
Q: What happens when my hatchlings become adults? Do I make a post telling the mods to remove them since they're not allowed?
A: The mods will automatically remove any adults they find as they find them, so you don't need to make a post.
Q: What happens when I freeze a hatchling? Do I make a post telling the mods to remove them since they're not allowed?
A: No need. PF13 regularly goes through and removes them, and your posts don't help.
Q: Will my eggs and hatchlings be okay if I post them here only and nowhere else?
A: The Egg Sanctuary will provide a nice boost to the growth of your dragons, but there is no guarantee that they will grow up if they are only posted in here. To ensure that your dragons will grow up completely and healthy, you should also post your dragons in different spots too (as long as the places you post them aren't extremely popular, since you might find your eggs and hatchlings dying from being viewed too much rather than too little).
Q: Can I post someone else's eggs and hatchlings?
A: Yes, but please be careful when you do so. Make sure they haven't already been added before you post them. Also make sure it is okay with the owner for you to post their eggs and hatchlings here before you do.
Q: I posted my egg, but it hasn't been added yet!
A: Check your post, to see if it is labeled with a 'done'. If it isn't, then we haven't gotten to it yet.
Q: But my post does say done and my egg still isn't here!
A: Sometimes, mods might make mistakes too. Make sure to double check, and then you can either PM a mod or post your egg again. Sometimes the code might not copy, or get deleted by mistake. Don't feel bad contacting the mods, because more than likely, it's not your fault.
Q: I don't know what breed my dragon is!
A: If you don't know what breed your dragon is, just post it with the code. The mods probably know what breed it is. You can also look at the eggs already posted to find out the breed, too.
