Strong points:
_____+ Intelligence: Perhaps his biggest strength; Melvin spent most of his time studying. Where he obviously lost on social skills due to this, he's pretty much able to quote books and answer even the oddest questions if they land on his field of expertise. Even those that don't, will be pondered and later addressed; the ability allows him to be rather dependable when a problem shows up that others can't handle.
_____+ Patient/Calm: Honestly, if he weren't so patient, it's likely he would've already blown up, what with the situation he's suddenly been plunged into. Calm, logical and analytical, he seems to take everything in stride, permitting him to act in a rather laid back sort of way. Hardly ever angry, it takes a lot to force a reaction out of him.
_____+ Cooking: The fact he's been living alone for so long (and the fact he's prone to experimenting with different flavors and foods) have actually made quite the cook out of Melvin. Something he's not ashamed of, amusingly enough, claiming the kitchen is almost like a lab and should be treated with as much care. The hard part is getting him to leave his work long enough to coax him into the kitchen.
_____+ Photographic Memory: Melvin is able to remember trivial facts, scenes and pictures with incredible ease; if he's paying attention, he'd probably be able to describe in agonising detail exactly what Tesla, Ammy or Su were wearing wearing at any one point the previous week. Sadly, how he interprets said information isn't quite as successful, needless to say.
_____+ Adaptable: Even despite the fact he's prone to grumbling and objecting firmly to change, it's easily visible he can adapt with ease rather swiftly to almost any given situation while still keeping his cool. Situations might range from going from living alone holed away in his lab to suddenly being forced to live with what he describes as 'Three crazy nut-job women', to being conned into dancing lessons.
Weaknesses:
_____+ Personality Issues: Even though he usually means well, Melvin comes off as horribly cold. Rude even, at some points; this is mostly due to the fact he rarely shows emotion and his face seems to favour sporting a 'bored' look. That said, when his patience does wear thin, he's also prone to blowing up, displaying quite the amount of passion; this leads him to uttering or doing things he doesn't even mean, at the heat of the moment. All of this makes him rather the awkward man to deal with.
_____+ Slow: For all his intelligence, Melvin is horribly, agonisingly slow when it comes to certain things; understanding others and feelings, both range high on said list. Despite the fact he can be watching someone's emotions play on their face and remember them vividly a week later does not help the cause. Being unused to socialising, the way other people's minds work is an complete and utter mystery to him. Needles to say this is a source of constant frustration for both him and the girls that have crash landed within his sanctuary.
_____+ Social Hermit: Due to having remain secluded away from others (by happy little choice, no less), not only does he not understand others very well, but he's incredibly socially awkward, to the point he might offend others without even meaning to. Now that Tesla and his two assistants seem to insist on dragging him out of his hole of a lab, he's slowly trying to adapt.
_____+ Workaholic: The man is practically married to his work. If allowed, it's clear Melvin would work himself to the death inside his lab; all things considered, the girls' arrival was probably a blessing to his life, even if he's not yet some to terms with this or even realised it.

Personality Overview: Rather feminine in both appearance and nature, Nili is easily confused for a female; his voice doesn't help much in the matter, for despite the fact he usually opens his mouth to say something nasty, the tone and timbre of it is without a doubt, girly. Foul tempered, easily angered and prone to irritation. It's probably safe to say this boy spends most of his time hissing, snarking and otherwise being a relative... well, b***h; not the easiest person to get along with.
The fact he's often time confused for a girl has created a strange complex within him. While he's not particularly upset by the idea of others thinking he's female, he absolutely despises it when males flirt with him and will instantly hiss, growl and snarl that he's in fact, NOT gay, thank you very much. The fact he hangs out with Sewti most of the time, does not help the 'gay' situation, for amusingly enough, Sewti is a tomboy whom not only dresses in male clothing, but actually looks like a boy (albeit a girly boy, of course). Thanks to his foul nature, Sewti seems to be one of very few people that tolerates him (she thinks he's extremely amusing when he's angered, and her laid back personality allows her to brush off anything he says).
Needless to say, Nili is not particularly strong; for all his sharp tongue, he lacks the body and the ability to actually do anything other than insult others (which he does on a daily basis). This is a constant source of problematic situations, for the boy manages to offend quite a few whom wish to do nothing other than punch him. It's usually Sewti's self-appointed job to drag him away from said situations before they reach a critical point; that said, she's also somehow become his, also self-appointed body-guard, for where Nili is elegant and artistic, Sewti is rather strong when it comes down to it.
History Overview: Born second of five siblings; Nili's the younger of the two brothers. Being born blue eyed, like his brother, made him a potential heir for his family (only blue eyed kids have this 'privilege' - the clan/Family he was born into believes only those with blue eyes are blessed by the 'gods'). However, both his personality and his less-than-manly ways made his parents decide on the stronger of both brothers, Tau, for a heir (this doesn't seem to have upset Nili, whom didn't want the responsibility of the job in the first place). Despite this, he's made his way through life exploiting his unique traits. Having set up a Flower shop, he sells a wide range of products; from indoor flowers and plants, to floral arrangements for parties and weddings. Even though he dresses with 'male' clothes, he seems to have a preference for frilly, exotic things.
Strong points:
_____+ Singing: Despite his foul personality, Nili inherited his mother's voice and is in fact, a rather skilled singer. To the point of being able to sooth other with his songs (amusingly enough, the effect is usually ruined when he opens his mouth to talk rather than sing). The fact his voice is painfully girly sets him in much headache-inducing situations.
_____+ Floral Arrangements: Actually, he's good with anything that involves flowers; seems to have a way with them, and can often time be seen gardening and talking to plants. Spends much of his free-time out doors, sitting under trees, or simply just lazy-ing about near flowers.
_____+ Cooking: What can I say, he's a good cook. Which doesn't really reaffirm his masculinity.
_____+ Debating: Though quite easily angered, Nili's a rather smart boy, and will use words and arguments to get a point across when his temper doesn't get the best of him. Happy to debate, banter and bicker; in fact, he somehow manages to spend most his social time doing just that, which hasn't really earnt him many friends.
_____+ Sensitive: The fact he's almost like a girl in many ways, makes him more open to others' feelings. If he actually cares about someone enough to bother with them, he's actually quite good at comforting others when given the chance. Nili's open-minded view of situations allow him to give advice that might not be considered by other people to even be plausible. Of course, the exception to this rule is Tau, his brother with whom Nili seems to be unable to talk to without snapping, both knowing just how to push each others' buttons, no matter how much they do care for each other.
