	I'm not going to say what my opinion on it is, I just want to hear what everyone else has to say. Hentai - is it as bad as real pornography? What do you think about it?

Just because it's drawn doesn't mean it's held to any less moral standards.

	I fail to see a difference. Hentai is still pornography, despite it being drawn and not from life. For that matter the men and women in pornographic films are not "real", as in they are not like most real people, nor do they act like real people. I would class visual, and "literary" (as in written, I do not believe they have literary value) pornography as all being as bad as each other, whether they are animated or real life, still or moving, words or pictures. Now as to whether pornography has any place in a Christian home, there is perhaps a discussion to be made on that.

	I agree with Sybil Unrest and CCubed. Hentai is pornography and pornography has no place in the life of a Christian.

	I don't reallly get how pornography is bad. Has everyone forgotten that Adam and Eve were nekkid and paintings depiciting them as such are considered porno (because they're nude) and that we shouldn't let our kids lookat those paintings. It also seems that under all our clothes we're also nekkid ZOMG we all have breasts. What horrid people we are. -gasp-

	The funny and great thing about humans, we all have hidden desires and wants. You can't not look at porn and then turn away the moment you see it. You are drawn. Besides what is exactly wrong with your typical porn and hentai? We all have needs. ALL of us. Now as for a place in a Christian home, its all depending on how open minded you are to how humans are in their basest needs. Its porn, yeah, and some of it can be real sick like the hentai Behind Closed Doors, but hey, to each their own.

I've never been drawn in by porn. Ever.

Not because I think I'm so fabulous and pure, because I'm not. I freely admit to loving sex and having a lot of it. I'll even go into detail if asked. I'm the farthest thing from a prude.

I just never saw the point of porn. I've always found watching other people having sex to be a little awkward. I can find better ways to get off.

I've seen a few porns and hentais.Its weird and I dunno how people get off but, well, everyone has their wants. Personally I want the real thing and will get the real thing. Its more fun than getting it vicariously.

	Hentai can be worse than real porn (as in porn with real people) in the sense that it raises a person's expectations and standards of sex and the ideal human body to levels of unreality. So basically you won't be as satisfied with the real thing and or the appropriate circumstances in which sex is practiced in a Christian perspective.
