Short Summary of their plotline:
What are their parents' personalities? Mother: Csitri is intense. Sometimes to the point of scariness. She's large in comparison to her tiny mother, having inherited her father's genes for height. As a foal she was often gangly and even somewhat envious of her sister's claws. Father: Damir is a pretty normal, compassionate gentleman. He's mute, so he can't speak...but his familiar, Eliron, makes up for that well! In comparison to the rather easygoing stallion, his bird makes quite the ruckus and is very willfull, causing Damir to become irritated with him, though he cares for the little songbird quite a lot despite the annoyance he sometimes is.
Do the parents have professions? Mother: Courtesan/Entertainer/Scout/Warrior Father: Mute wanderer.
Link to RP(s) where something happens of importance:My Love is the Mountains - Csitri and Damir first meet; he is, technically, her first-ever "seduction"/"entertainee" and as this log progresses, she will be nervoice, edgy, and even intense (which is all fair and well because Damir is rather dense when it comes to making babies). After, it's very likely she will confide in him. After all...Damir is mute. Who can he tell?
What are their family dynamics? Csitri and her mother and sister will raise any girls, while Damir will come back for any colts. He may be permitted to see his daughters when they are older and Csitri takes them to a small valley where Damir will wind up residing. Damir will wind up being a "favourite" of hers, as she will find she loves him and he returns it, and is likely to have at least one more breeding with him. And Damir...will likely agree to father more offspring and take any girls from them to give to Csitri and her mother's flock (pending Mind's approval for this plotbunny). Until her last breeding, however, Csitri will not become his mate in truth, only a lovemate of sorts, as her first duty is to her mother's regrowing flock.
Traditions: Coming Down the Mountain - while not literal (Damir will reside in a valley not too far from the flock, but far enough that they will not interact constantly; this prevents the flock's food stores from being heavily depleated), Csitri will bring her daughters down to meet Damir, for he is special to her, and there she will also interact with any sons that have not ventured from Damir's side during their own growth. Herd/Family Culture: Girls girls girls stay with the flock. Boys are fit to wander as they will, though Damir will do his best to raise them and Csitri might make the occasional appearance while they're still young! Religious Beliefs: Likely in the great spirits/whatever the flock did.

Everything (or nearly) is playing off her changeling nature. I had so much fun; thank you for hosting this contest!
Personality Ideas - Intuitive.
Puwe is aware she and her siblings...are rather odd, in comparison to their parents. However, because they are treated no differently than any other member of their herd despite their differences to their parents, this does not have a negative impact upon her personality. It is, rather, a positive one, for she will come to realize that no matter one's outward appearance (aside from the Nightmares), one can be unconditionally accepted within the herd.
Puwe is a relatively young soul in terms of things; insatiably curious, willing to learn, and still figuring things out along the way, she'll learn her wisdom as she grows; whereas an old soul intrinsically has a "knowing" wisdom, her path is designed to allow her to grow into knowing, into being. She feels she has some great purpose, something pulling her somewhere, she just can't figure out - can't "hear" - where, just yet.
In her youth she tends to be fairly excitable and...jumpy. She'll grow and develop into a more laid-back mare, with some serious determination to help ensure the best and brightest future for her herd. Her values will largely be taken from her mother and father, and she's sure to have a pretty good relationship with her siblings. Freyr she sees as a very bright soul, and has zero regard for the fact he's not family by blood; he's family, period.
Plot Ideas -
xxxFading Into Light - the herd and her parents are the first to notice the change in hue; after all, her basket was dark...but the filly is somewhat lighter. Was there a mistake or is this a sign from the Oneiroi? Her mother may find things out, but realize that Puwe has to find her own way. It's her mother's job to influence her in other ways, like growth and personality, as her much larger purpose is to the herd as a whole.
xxxLearning to Hear - she will find a particular tree - her "dreaming tree" that she finds it easier to listen with those ears of hers. It's a particular tree that she finds calls out to her, something she can be around that relaxes her and opens her up (later on, especially) to listening to the Oneiroi. I like the idea of Soq having their own "spot", so to speak, even though those spots are likely shared with others, sometimes.
xxxFigment, Figment... - as a curious and inquisitive sort, Puwe will likely venture around with her father and may slip off as a filly or as a young adolescent to meet what she will come to call a Figment (similar to a Persistent Dream, but one who is not within the herd lands). An outsider, one who was not blessed (yet, potentially) as a Dreamwalker, but not a nightmare, either. I want this to be a challenge for her; someone that contradicts and wants nothing to do with her beliefs and will scoff and intelligently shoot down and argue with her. This may instill temporary doubt, and it will be interesting to see if she can overcome it.
xxxFrom Figment to Dreamer - may even be Figment from previous plot idea; Puwe will have something of a knack for intuitively listening as to who will be allowed into being. I'd like for her to interact with Figments more frequently after her initial argumentative encounter, and after a small struggle within herself to actually go encounter others. After all, not every Figment or Persistent Dream would be so obstinate, right? Curiosity may kill the cat, but satisfaction definitely brings it back. One of these Figments may even become a lover; someone to share Prayer with for foals from the Oneiroi, and to help her. Love the irony of the thought of it being the argumentative Figment, too.
xxxFace to Face with a Nightmare - I want her to encounter at least one nightmare of moderate to high profile Nightmare. I'm not sure if I want her harmed or not (or if it's while she's alongside Daddy--ohhhhh drama!) but this will definitely serve to enforce her belief in her herd and all they believe in. She may question the Oneiroi somewhat, how they could allow Nightmares in, but will come to find her answer in a curious way...
xxxCrow in the Dreaming Tree - this lady will be the recipient of a crow familiar sometime early on in adolescence, likely during her role as a Shaman; this will come to be the event that leads her to discovering herself as an Oracle. On one of her trips to her tree, she finds a crow perched up in the branches. It...can speak? Did the Oneiroi send this bird to her? Little does she know this Crow will adapt quickly to the herd and its cultures (it may have been observing for quite some time and chose Puwe to bond to) and will act as a catalyst for Puwe. The mythos and lore behind significant trees are very intriguing to me. She will find many answers through her Crow, as well as her "Dreaming Tree".
xxxRight Where I Belong* - as she reaches adult and her "changling" appearance and true place in the herd is fully realized, Puwe will change her name before stepping into what is (potentially) her last role in the herd: an Oracle.
xxxBlessed by the Spirits (Oneiroi)/Ascended to the Light - there is potential for one more level, and that would be the Luminary, after her mother either steps down or passes away. COULD BE INTERESTING. I AM EXCITE. > O<
Do you have a rank in the herd you are eyeing for your foal? - Oracle, for very obvious reasons. But, she'll go through a few other "positions" first, and find that she doesn't quite feel she "fits". She'll start by collecting things as a young filly for other roles, and then would probably move into a Shepherd, and then Shaman role (this may be switched between the two; she will not fall "out of favour" (though she may make some mistakes as part of the growing/learning process) but will rather intuitively feel that this is not her path) before finally finding her place...though if I'm honest, I can also see her one day taking over Phasianidae's place as Luminary after serving for a looooong span of time as an Oracle. > A>;;emotion_bigheart
Herd Stuff
Who do the herd Wordship? - the Oneiroi, Nyx's sons. How would a member of the herd see a stranger? - Members of the herd see strangers (from outside of the herd) as "not alive". A stranger within the herd (someone just not met) is considered very real and alive, in contrast. Anyone the Oneiroi have not given "herd"/"living" status to are all considered figments What happens to someone who leaves the herd? - they are considered to have "died', shifted into a different realm. This is different from a true death in that through prayer and ritual, the member can come back to life, so to speak. They would then consider their time away from the herd as a dream. How does the herd view those who don't believe? - The herd is very steadfast in their beliefs and do not tolerate disbelief well. If they are in the herd and making a ruckus and questioning things often, they will be kicked out. Foals are somewhat exempt because they are learning. Outsiders would likely be escorted/chased out of herd lands (from what I gather).
[o] Allow me to break down the Carpathian (a Proto-Uralic (though fantasy, I believe) language) suffixes of her name. The literal translation is "Beauty(Van)-Heart(sív)-Blessed(ál)-Her(a)" which gives a more-flowing translation of "She has a Beautiful Heart" or "Her Heart is Blessed by Beauty" or even "She is the Heart of Beauty".
Temper: [o] Delicate.
Personality of Soquili: [o] Vansívála is exactly as her one-worded temper describes: she is delicate. In heart, in mind, in body, in spirit. This has been greatly aided by her mother sheltering her throughout her young life. However, this is where her beauty shines through; she tends to be soft-spoken, gentle, and has her mother's grace--or will. History seems to want to repeat itself with Vansívála, and she will be quite the awkward little filly as she grows, making it more difficult for her to follow in her mother's dance lessons.
She'll have the odd moment of grace while young, but it won't be until she's just passing through her young adulthood that she'll grow into herself.
Demeaning remarks she will take to heart, but on the plus side, flattering remarks will boost her self-confidence. She's perhaps too receptive to what those around her think of her, but she greatly admires Vanya and strives to be as she pictures her mother--pristine and good. She doesn't see anything wrong with her mother. It's the only life she's ever known, and even though Vanya's flaws are apparent, Vála will only have eyes for her mother's beauty, mind, heart, body, and soul.
(Chances are she'll find a not-so-strange solace in Risuleri, who seems to be of a similar disposition. I can see this girl looking up to Risu in admiration and looking to her - in addition to Vanya - for inner strength and sometimes peace of mind.)
Future Plots for the Soquili? [o] Filly I want to have her gain both friends and rivals. Unfortunately for Vansívála, it will be too easy for her rivals to knock her self-confidence down, and repeated bashing will turn her into something of a reclusive harpy, even with the love and light and beauty her friends, sisters, and mother (and father; she will probably secretly be her father's daughter--wanting attention and love from him despite the Flock's thoughts (you'll have to forgive my newbishness on the Flock, for now. Not a lot of time to read @___@)) will shed upon her. [o] Young Adult Dealing with her self-confidence is going to be a long road.
I could see her - because she is so soft - starting to fall for a male within the flock, someone that could soothe the hurts the others inflict on her with unkind words. At this point, I could see her settling for ONE male, instead of having a favourite. Love is something she desires greatly--someone to love her for who she is, not merely her beautiful appearance. [o] Adult This will be the period of time that Vansívála will actually fully grow into herself. She'll start coming to the realization that she can keep in mind the opinions of others, but that does not mean what they say is true.
Any other plots? I kind of want to RP her and interact with others before deciding whose plots she could play part in, or what other plots I can come up with--this is just a loose guideline, and things can come about more slowly or quickly depending on where the RP goes~
Do you have any traditions you would like to see implemented into Vanya's family? If so what are they and what are your reasonings behind them? [o] Personally, I would adore to see Vanya teach her daughters (and sons? Haha, if they really wanted to, anyway) to dance. Because she is one of (if not the) best, it would allow for bonding time. This could be all, beginning, or advanced classes should Vanya decide that those teachers couldn't do as good a job as her. [o] "Hunting" day; this could be for precious gems and stones, or what have you~ Or, with every batch of kids (provided there are females) she could take them on an excursion to "capture" a male for the flock, should Vanya have an eye on one in particular that hasn't been brought in, yet. They'd get to see their other in action! <3

How active are you in Soquili?: [o] I tend to lurk in the main thread--however, that doesn't mean I'm not active. I have active plots and RP going on. My time online is super-divided, but I make time for every place that I have pets in, in some fashion or another.
Will the offspring stay in the flock?: [o] No worries, regardless. ;D I had no intentions of her leaving the Flock, even if given the option.
Why do you feel you should get a basket/be picked as co-owner for a foal?: [o] Wow. :X I get really nervous with these types of questions, really. I don't feel I should be picked over anyone else. Each person that enters this contest brings their own unique ideas and style, and to say my own is "better" and should be chosen almost makes me feel sick. I fully realize this is the spot that I'm supposed to toot my own horn, but I'm really not that type of person.
I could answer why I would love to win a bit better, however. I have a couple niches with a couple people--and I'm happy with and adore that--but a community niche is also something I'm looking for. Countless opportunities to RP with new people and build plots and relationships - both IC and OOC - through it. Not to mention that this pairing is, indeed, gorgeous and I would be honoured to receive Vansívála.
