Special Ability: Empathic Magic – something of a crybaby from a young age, it’s only recently Eli has realized his widely swinging emotions are often due to outside influence—he is very susceptible to feelings what others feel. Update! After the mental equivalent of marathon running, Eli now has proper shields that ensure he's not feeling everyone else's emotions unless he means to--though his shields will always not entirely keep out Seth, his mother, and later Dacj. He can also project properly now as well, though his range is very limited and he projects much stronger when he's touching someone. Now his challenge lies mostly in practice--it makes perfect, after all!

Elti is Eli's Ti'ama 'contractee'--basically, a world dragon. Her body is the larger of Phanes' two moons. Eli is her only Contractor, and she spends a lot of time watching over him/stalking his family. Unlike the vast majority of Ti'ama, she speaks in singular (as opposed to the group/royal 'we'). Most unusually for her species, she waited until recently to take a Contractor.

Eventually she tells Eli of her birth and her darkest secrets before allowing him to visit the moon-that-is-her-shell and grounding. She has met the First to Shine (kekasma'phai), the one who left Phanes. Like the rogue red moon, hers is a "captured moon", though her arrival predates most human life on Phanes.

She believes herself one of the most in touch with humanity as she watches her sole Contractor so closely; as far as Ti'ama'at policy goes, she follows the camp of the kekasma'phai believing that it is humanity who will reach the "next stage" first and the Ti'ama can learn from them. She has enormous guilt issues because she refused to take on certain responsibilities, and her refusal spawned the creation of Sen-nith. She works towards the goal of defeating the Empire because she believes it is the least she can do, given her track record with the planet below her moon.

She is known variously by Clan Phoenekeia as the "Blue Moon", "the Dreamer," or "the Sleeper." Like every one of the thousand voices of Sen-nith speaks through an appointed Voice, Eltimion too had a Voice--the sibyl-from-the-sea, now reborn as the Hyte Tsqali'fhtagen Dacj'hai'gotha, and whose name is in fact a reference to their connection. Despite the sibyl's status as only a Blossom of Eltimion, her position as Voice ensured the Ti'ama was able to bring the girl back as she would a Contractor of hers.
