Scar was roaming the halls of the castle as she arrived to the princes door knocking a few times. "Prince, your father calls you." She said her voice deep that she had practiced multiple times. Everyone believed she was a man and if anyone found out she wasn't she would be in huge trouble. Not even the prince himself knew. Scarlett used her nickname Scar since it was more manly and through the years the king himself believed she was a man and is now ranked one of the highest knights in the kingdom. Tapping her foot lightly she leaned against the wall waiting for the prince to appear out of his room so she could lead him to the King.

Ulrich heard a knock at his front door. He had a suite of rooms on the second floor of the castle and he thought they were too big for his taste. He had no guest and all his servants had their own quarters so he had it all to himself. He threw on some light travel clothes before opening the door. "Morning Scar. Is my father impatient today?" Ulrich enjoyed his traveling and always dressed in case he could get out. Though his father looked down on it sometimes and he would even yell at Ulrich for being a few minutes late. Of course he would become king one day but until then he wanted to enjoy his freedom.

Scar nodded and stood up straight "Yes prince Ulrich he is. Possibly even more because of some news that he had received about a princess who may be fit for you." She replied as she looked at his travel clothes. "do you plan on leaving the castle today Prince?" She asked as she nodded towards the end of the hall to the stairway and began walking with him slowly as she thought about the princess that the king wanted Ulrich to wed, She was nothing like the type that Ulrich wanted or even needed in her mind but if its the king's decision then so be it.

Ulrich smirked and continued walking before laughing a bit. "So he has. Scar I know that your place is fighting and not politics but I have heard of the princess and she is no fit for me. I understand my fathers sense of duty and marrying for the better of the kingdom will make us stronger but in the matters of love he is blind. This is something that I will deal with on my own but it doesn't stop my father from trying to wear me out." He continued walking as he wondered if he was traveling. If all he had to talk to his father about was a possible match then he could go out riding. He sent a servant to have his horse prepared and he entered the great hall. He was used to being yelled at by his father and now it barely affected him. It still hurt sometimes but he could handle it. He had to be the strong leader everyone needed him to be.

Scar nodded at what Ulrich said then replied. "Well if you need any help I am here for you." As he walked into the Great Hall she followed shutting the doors behind her and stood by them as the king began talking and ranting on and on about the marriage that he has set out for his son. "You do know of Princess Rosemary right my son?" He questioned as he sat up a little bit "From our neighboring kingdom? we have been intertwining our children with theirs for centuries my son and it is time for you to keep that tradition. Tomorrow will be a ball and at this ball you shall meet Princess Rosemary and in one month you two shall be wed." He finished then looked over to Scar. "Scar do you mind escorting my son out on his travels?" He asked and Scar nodded. "Yes Sir I would be glad to." she simply replied as she bowed for him. "Good. Now Ulrich did I make myself clear?"

Ulrich smiled and bowed. "Of course father." He turned around and caught Scar's eyes. He motioned with his head and walked out of the great hall. He would have usually fought with his father about the marriage. It wasn't that he like Rosemary it was just that if he express dislike the any action he took would be against his marriage. He had ideas of how to get out of it but he didn't trust anyone besides Scar. He was given the sole purpose to protect the prince and Ulrich had found early on that he could confide it Scar. That didn't mean that he couldn't fight himself but it helped to have a trained warrior at his side. Ulrich could pretend to be kidnapped which would help. It would have to seem real but it would get him out of the marriage.

Hey, for the kidnap Idea, what if it was twisted and on their trip they are attacked and actually both kidnapped? While they are in captivity Ulrich can find out that Scar is actually a girl and not a man that he believed she was.

Scar followed out behind the prince as she fixed her sword around her waist. "So I know you have a plan Prince." She said with a little chuckle "What does it involve this time?" She finished as she walked next to him. she had felt sorta bad that Ulrich told her everything and confined in her while she had been lying to him for years about who she truly was. Shaking her head softly she cracked her knuckles as they walked out to where the horses were waiting for them. She knew that Ulrich didn't want to be wed and probably had multiple plans going through his head at this one moment of what to do.

Ulrich looked around and deemed that it was safe enough to tell Scar. "I have a plan in motion already. I was going to look at all of the options but this seems best. I'm going to fake a kidnapping and have them release me after a month and I would make my way back and tell my father that I was kidnapped and would give them a fake group of bandits." Ulrich got onto his horse and waited for Scar. He had no idea that the group of mercenaries he hired to kidnap him were planning on kidnapping him for real. Of course it would do the same thing he wanted but he was in actual danger. He rode out towards the forest where he was supposed to be kidnapped. He had chosen today and he didn't tell anyone because it had to seem sudden and he couldn't take anything or they would be suspicious.

Scar hopped onto her horse and followed next to him thinking over his plan seeing no danger in it. "Always the strategy maker Prince" She said as she saw a group of mercenaries her hand going to her sword unaware of these people being the group Ulrich hired but she sensed something was wrong with this group. "Prince Ulrich I believe it is time to turn back." She said. She wasn't afraid to fight these mercenaries but she was there to protect Ulrich at all costs. Her helmet turned slightly on her head as she fixed it her hair that was tied up feeling loose which meant she would need to fix it or her long hair would fall everywhere. As they drew closer to the mercenaries her hand now gripped onto the sword ready to attack.

Ulrich smiled and put his hand up. "Scar these are the mercenaries I hired to fake the kidnapping. It's alright." He saw the Mercenaries ride up and unsheathe their swords. The held it high and started attacking. This was definitely not what they planned and they were outnumber twenty-five to two. Ulrich took his sword out and started fighting. Either these were the wrong mercenaries or they had changed the plans. He figured that the plan would have gone wrong but he wasn't planning for this. He should have just argued with his father instead of making this plan but he was one to act before he thought everything through and now he was paying for it. They would take him he just didn't want them to hurt Scar since it wasn't his idea or fault.

Scar jumped from her horse and landed perfectly as she unsheathed her sword and began attacking the mercenaries that went after the prince. One of the mercenaries grabbed her attention while another one grabbed the prince. "Ulrich!" she yelled as she stabbed the mercenary in front of her then turned trying to attack the one that Ulrich until she felt something hit her in the back of her knees as she fell a sword hitting her back making her gasp softly as she tried to stand only for a boot to smash down on her back as Her and Ulrich were tied up.

Ulrich struggled to break free and he saw Scar go down. "Let me go you barbaric bastards. We had a deal and you went against it. I will have all of your heads for this just you wait and see." Ulrich felt a punch to his face and it only made him angrier. He was tied up now with Scar and they loaded them in the back of a wagon. He had to make a plan before they were gone for good. His sword was taken and he hoped that his horse had gotten away. The horse would make it's way back to the castle and people would know what happened hopefully but his plan wasn't his plan anymore. He struggled a bit to break the bonds. It was just the two of them in the back of the wagon. "Scar please tell me you have a way out of this. I know I screwed up and I really need your help." He was angry and upset and he would rather marry princess Rosemary instead of being tied up and kidnapped for real.

Scar had taken a deep breath her back bleeding pretty bad. "Prince Ulrich there may be only one Idea I have." she said as she sat up weakly in the back of the wagon. "Up ahead is a wagon stop where the guards need to check their wagon. They will need to stop up there in order for them to seem like they don't have us back here, once they do we escape into the nearby trees." She said as she looked towards him knowing the plan was weak but it was all she had at the moment. "If that doesn't work I can be a diversion for you as you escape into the woods they wouldn't be able to find you and would be to busy attacking me." she finished as she moved her tied hands to Ulrich's face wiping away a little blood that he had on his lip.

Ulrich shook his head. "No Scar this is my fault and your shouldn't have to pay for my mistakes with your life. Either we run together or I'll be the diversion for you. You have a better chance on making it back and they won't kill me as long as they can get a ransom for me. If I don't make it tell my father i'm sorry. Even though we fight and I don't want to marry for tradition I would rather have married Rosemary instead of be here. Tell him i'm sorry for everything." He rested a bit and got ready for their last chance. If they failed then he would be in an even worse condition than they were in now. He was just hoping at least Scar could get away. He had been a loyal servant and would hate to be the cause of his death.
