There was something about this forest Druid already loved and knew just beyond this forest was the very place to call home. As Druid ran leading his packmates beyond this forest's borders causing them to discover a piece of land meant for them to find. Druid haulted upon the sight and borderline between forest and a hidden green meadow.

"What a sight for sore eyes." he said out loud hoping to hear the same reaction.

Warlock took notice of Druid flying through the forest with excitement. He had never seen his brother so excited to settle the pack anywhere like this before. As Warlock ran he glances over at Aeon, Charm, Mandrake, and encouraged Soleil to run behind Druid to share whatever he saw first. Once their run came to an end Warlock looked upon the green pasture before him with great awe.

"A sight I picture home to be. . ." he shared looking around panting with his tongue sticking out. "This land has great potential. . .possible coastline. . .a forest to protect. . .we've seen the mountains around this place. . ." he said stating the obvious looking for support.

For whatever reason she couldn't explain, Soleil only felt anticipation growing inside of her as she soared through the trees, pushing with her wings to gain ground between her and Druid. She couldn't place it, but there was something else in the forest that she felt aside from how unlike her it was, but soon enough, she'd found it as the trees began to thin out. She barked lightly at the feeling of sunlight coming through the trees as the forest opened out into a glorious clearing, perfectly surrounded and beautiful to match.
Trying to come to a halt, Soleil threw out her wings, flapping them against all the momentum and speed she'd gained in her flight as she landed on the ground beside Druid. Instead of folding them neatly beside her, Soleil let them hang to the ground, an obvious sign of comfort as she looked around, basking in the warm feeling of abundant sunlight.
"Well I'll be," she panted, her tail swaying behind her in contentment.
"We found a diamond in all the coal. I do believe this is a treasure to keep," she agreed, favoring the pasture that lay before them.

Warlock overheard Charm's observations which seem to equally interest him as well. "Healthy plants and greenery for healing potions or medicines. This is a healers paradise." he smiled. "We have got to return to search for rare plants." he said to Charm before Druid began to start a run again. "Save, that thought for later!" he barked running after him.

Charm had gotten excited with Warlock's comment on returning to the forest. She loved the rank she had and was always excited on searching for new things to make medicine with. "I'll take your word on that Warlock," smirking at him. Than, began to ran with her packmates again, trailing behind Warlock.

When coming to another stop to their run, she looks at what they saw. Potential land. Her eyes were in wonder. She was in wonder. "Just makes you want to roll around like a pup," she replied. Her heart began to flutter. At last... Home? Could this be home?

Mandrake ran with excitement with everyone as his brother Druid lead the way through the misty forest. It was beyond the misty forest that surprised them all. "We found a diamond in all the coal." said Soleil. Mandrake agreed with her completely. Suddenly a elder white stag appeared into the pasture as though aware of their presence approaching them daring them to fight him. As everyone was talking Mandrake being the observer quickly points out the stag.

"Shhh. . .Look. The gods present us with a sign through a stag. An elder stag. . ." said Mandrake informing them of his observations. "He doesn't seem very old but well into his prime. Yet, he dares us to fight him as though knowing his day might be numbered after this season." he shared whispering loud enough for them all to hear. "Brother, what say you? Do you think he dares us all or perhaps he's challenging you." he smiled looking to everyone but waiting for his brother's orders.

Everyone was excited about the land before them they might possibly call home. Suddenly Mandrake quiet them down "Shhh. . .Look. The gods present us with a sign through a stag. An elder stag. . ."

Warlock quickly approaches Druid himself with excitement upon the sign and oppurtunity before them.
"Brother, Mandrake is right. This stag is probably near end of his prime to present himself to us. He dares us to fight him. Shall we all fight together, do you take the challenge, or do you call upon one of us to take him down?" asked Warlock in question.

Druid was soaking in the beauty of the pasture before him and felt everyone's excitment. Since home Druid has never called another place home and it wasn't too late to begin. Just before Druid was to open his mouth and recieve a vote from them all about staying. The gods had indeed sent them a sign through a white elderly stag. Druid heard the comments come from both his brothers Mandrake and Warlock who he deeply respected.
"Let us not miss this oppurtunity." he said looking to Warlock and Mandrake. "We shall hunt together but Soleil shall make the kill." he said making that clear looking to her lifting her paw with his gently. "I will lead the hunt on the stag. Everyone is to circle the stag to keep him in our circle. I will assist Soleil and give her the oppurtunity to kill." he said giving instructions clearly before meeting Soleil with soft look. "My lady, let us dance with the beast." he invited leading the way.

Warlock heard Druid's instructions and was surprised about giving Soleil the oppurtunity to kill the stag. Warlock quickly noticed his brother Druid taking a liking to Soleil since they've met. Although when Druid took her paw in such a respectable manner Warlock wagged his tail happily. "Alright, everyone. You heard Druid. Let's circle this beast!" he said running out taking a part of the circle along with Charm, Aeon, and Mandrake growling.

Meanwhile Druid lead the attack side by side with Soleil approaching the stag who snorted and stomped at them both as the rest circled the stag.

Charm took notice of a handsome old stag. She observed the stag. Looked healthy and seemed ready to give it's life. But of course, not without a good fight. She smirked and heard out Druid's plans to take the stag down. Listening carefully and agreed to circling it with the others. Although, surprise to see that Soleil was picked to kill the beast. Very interesting. Their alpha would do no such thing unless... Could their alpha finally love again? Could be possible.

Charm gazed at Soleil with a bright smile. Then glances to her brother. "Lets Go!" running with her pack to circle the stag.

Having since folded her wings at her side, Soleil remained content in the open pasture as the rest of their small group caught up, returning similar and promising remarks on their opinions of the sight. It had to be settled then, this must be home. The rest of the pack was sure to be in good spirits with such a beautiful string of news.
The sun wolf held herself lightly in the warmth and natural welcoming of the pasture, merely enjoying the purity and sanctity of it until she'd heard Mandrake's subtle voice beside them. She hadn't had much time to fully realize what the alpha's brother was saying before she looked out with the accumulating gazes, her eyes landing on that of the massive built figure of a primed white stag. He truly was a marvel in himself, his stature and physique. There was no telling what kind of legacy the peaked stag had within the surrounding forest, but continuing to listen to Mandrake speak, she understood what this encounter meant. A challenge hadn't been her first thought, but otherwise the stag would have fled being met with six pairs of hunting eyes. So that was it then, a challenge for the territory, what a prize this camp would be.
She had expected if anything that it would have been a one on one encounter between Druid and the stag, but listening to him begin his instructions, her tail fell limp at the mention of her name specifically. She was to make the kill? She'd never been any more than a scout within the pack due to her wings, she was always on defense, never offense, but now she was expected to make the symbolic kill of this pristine stag for the entire pack, in front of Druid? If ever she'd had any doubts about her interest in her, they were all quickly depleted as she hadn't uttered a word before she felt her paw being lifted from the ground. She looked into Druid's eyes with hers as he spoke, resting her paw gently in his as he looked back at her. There was no turning back now, this would be the first kill she'd ever made. It was about time, wasn't it...?
All she could do was try to remain calm and composed as she tried to gain every bit of confidence she could, looking back at Druid as he spoke finally to her.
"It would be an honor," she returned cooly, padding along with Druid as they approached the stag. She watched the remained of their group begin to circle it, and it showed no hostility. He must be aware that it would be a one on one encounter, she only hoped that she could size up to such an immense honor and privilege.

Druid took notice of Soleil's surprise when he asked her to kill the stag before them. Druid had grown feelings for Soleil and knew she was capable of completeing this task before them. The task was a test to prove to the others that she was Alpha material before courting her in public and making her his mate. There approval was important but the decision was his in the end. He believed in her. . . .

"I'm right here Soleil. If you need help don't hesitate to ask me." he spoke to her softly staying close enough to assist her at any given moment the situation got out of hand. As everyone else respectfully circled the beast they were left in the middle to meet the stag. The stag snorted and stomped the ground beginning to show them he was not afraid. He began to throw his antlers to show them his mighty grown weapons. "When ever your ready Sol. . ." said Druid encouraging, flattening his ears, and began showing the stag his fangs growling. Druid went at the Stag to distract him a while to get the stag focus on him until Sol was ready to take him on.

Warlock was with the others waiting on the outside in the circle around the Druid, Soleil, and the Stag who was already challenging his brother and Soleil to fight him. As Warlock watched Druid make way toward the Stag to distract him. It made Warlock excited, ears down, tails wagging, and begins growling beginning to circle so not to allow the Stag to escape. "Get him. . ." growled Warlock encouraging.

The early afternoon bore a high noon sun, shining down into the pasture as if it were focusing on the encounter that was to take place. Everything around them seemed to be lending an opinion on the fate of the land, this battle was inevitable.
Soleil followed Druid willfully into the middle of their formed circle, but her ears fell looking up to the stag, realizing just how big it was. Was it possible for just one wolf to take down such a legacy? His antlers alone looked to her bigger than her own wings as they were thrust at her, forcing her to cower backwards. Her tail between her legs and ears and wings pressed tightly against her body, she looked over at the sound of Druid's voice. She couldn't fail him, not now. He seemed to think enough of her abilities, otherwise he wouldn't have opened the kill to her. She had to do it, Druid believed in her.
Thinking back to all the times she'd had to chase off threats from their territory, Soleil took a step forward towards the stomping stag, the scruff of her neck beginning to bristle as she growled, bearing her own fangs. She barked harshly as she lunged at the stag, trying to prove herself bigger and more threatening as she threw out her wings, flapping them as she stood up on her hind legs.

((I wasn't sure if you wanted to play out the actions of the stag or otherwise. If you want me to do it, I'll gladly keep writing =3))

Mandrake was not surprised when Druid invited Soleil to battle the stag. He quietly watched everyone look surprise at Druid's invitation toward Soleil and when she accepted. Mandrake wagged his tail happily showing his excitement quietly. Once Druid lead the way with Soleil at his side Mandrake began to like the sight of them together. He thought they were meant to meet eachother despite Druid's previous lost of his beloved. Mandrake followed the pair with everyone else quickly making a circle around the stag. Mandrake helped lock the circle between his brother Warlock and Aeon. His fur bristled, fangs bared, and gives a low growl ready just in case. It was exciting and watched Druid and Soleil begin to work together. "What a sight." he thought to himself.

Charm was circling the beautiful creature. She was excited, wagging her tail. Doing as plan. To circle the beast. She watched as her alpha and the girl hunt together. So beautiful. Like fire and wind. How wind makes fire grow even bigger and beautifully. Charm awaited for Soleil to finish the thing. Take its life. Oh how Charm thank the gods for such a prize.

Flapping her wings as she stood as high as she could muster, Soleil snarled as she moved towards the stag, proving herself a more viable threat, and making sure it knew that she was bigger and more of a threat. She landed down on her front legs, lunging towards the beast and biting at it's ankles, falling back though at the stomping hooves, and earning a sharp stab at her side from an expertly thrown antler. She yelped at the pain, barely feeling her fur begin to grow wet, but that wasn't going to stop her, she'd suffered worse in trying to protect their territory. The fire wolf barked again, lunging forward again with bared fangs, earning a step back from the stag. Her ears perked up at this, a sign of submission, if barely, she might just win...
The stag stomped forward again, it was all a battle of who would step down first, but watching it step forward, Soleil lunged to the left, racing around to it's side, jumping up and clamping down on it's shoulder, slowly but surely trying to bring it to the ground. She dug in through the thick fur with claws and fangs, trying to break skin, but she felt herself bucked off as the stag reared up, knocking her to the ground. She almost had the impulse to go aerial, confusing it while she was in the air, even using her fire to her advantage, but that was just it, it would be an advantage. This stag wasn't going to blast fire at her or shake the ground beneath her paws, it'd be a disgrace if she used her natural abilities to help win the battle for the territory. Just the thought was enough to make her ears fall, taking a glance at Druid. Could she do it without what she'd grown so used to using to protect their territory? She had to try... Druid was counting on her, the whole pack was. This was their new territory, and she was sworn to protect it with her life.
Watching the stag turn at her, Soleil snarled, standing back up on her paws, watching it turn with a slight limp. She didn't know how much damage she did, but she must have done something. The stag reared up again as it turned to face her, but Soeil followed with the upward motion, going for the same left leg as she snapped at the ankle, clamping on with bared fangs. The stag seemed to roar with pain, bringing Soleil down with it as it stomped back on the ground, her head taking a hard hit to the ground as it stomped at her with it's right hoof, stomping on one of her back paws. It was enough to make Soleil let go with another yelp, taking a step backwards as she favored the now wounded paw, but looking at the ankle she'd clamped down on, she saw blood, she could feel it in her maw, watching it stain the white bristled fur of the stag. She had to keep going. Slowly it was going to come down, but she had to keep up the fight. A limp in her back leg and her side slowly staining red from the stab she took from the antlers, Soleil charged around the side of the stag again, getting at it's legs. She lept up and bit down hard on it's right hip, this time drawing blood as she lashed and clawed. She snarled all the while, trying to be sure that the stag knew who was the greater threat, but was thrown once again from her grip as the stag kicked up with it's back legs. She landed on her paws, waiting with bared fangs as she lept at it's ankle, biting down on the same ankle that was attached to the bleeding hip.
Thrown back again, Soleil watched the stag turn at her. He was wearing down, three legs limping, nostrils flaring with panting breaths. She didn't know if it was time to go in for the kill though, he was still strong, and wasn't about to let his territory go unscathed. She didn't know how much more she could take herself though, she was wearing down too. If it weren't for her insistence on not letting Druid down, she'd surely feel all the injuries she'd endured thus far, but she had to keep going. She'd try though, it was time to go in for the kill. Soleil squared off with the stag, fur bristling, tail whipping, fangs snarling, careful of the stomping hooves coming towards her. She waited, stepping back before lunging forward, ducking from the thrusted antlers, but she found herself yelping just as she would have grabbed at the stag's neck. One of her wings had got caught on the massive antlers of the beast, and now she could feel it tearing and ripping, blood beginning to drip through the feathers. She scratched and bit at whatever she could grab, catching the stag's face as she scratched it's muzzle and nearly clawed out it's eyes. The stag leaned down, trying to get at it's face with a hoof to wipe off all the blood, allowing Soleil to touch the ground. She yelped again, lifting up her wing and getting it off of the antlers.
"My wing...," she whimpered, looking up to the bleeding stag. She had to finish it now, she felt so much pain, she couldn't keep going much longer. She barked and snarled now, more than upset that her wing had been so tattered, and lunging towards the beast with bared fangs, she caught at it's throat since it couldn't see through the blood on it's face. She felt it jerk, heard it's breathing, felt the stomping hooves beneath her, but she wasn't going to let go, not for anything in the world. She moved with it, moved with ever twitch, clamping on with fangs dripping with blood now, feeling the stag slowly grow more still. She held on, feeling her own pain through the pain of the stag, but with one last forceful bite, she felt it was over, feeling the last breath leave the great white beast. She paused a moment, letting it down to the ground, making sure it's eyes were still as she slowly opened her stained muzzle, releasing her grip.
It was done, the battle won, but she fell to the ground herself in a panting heap, feeling the throbbing in her paw, the stab she took to her side, but most of all her wing. She couldn't imagine not flying...

Druid protectively watched Soleil stand off with the stag. There were moment he really wanted to jump in and assist Soleil especially since he was really considering her as his mate. The moment Soleil got hurt a couple times and whimpered. Druid drove in a couple times snapping at the stag heals and hind to distract it enough to let Soleil make the kill. Once Soleil killed the beast and the beast took it's final breath. Druid quickly went to Soleil licking her muzzle to clean the blood off her before bashfully realizing what he was doing. His ears flatten embarressed but quickly remembered about her injuries.

"Charm! Warlock or Drake! She needs healing and assistance fast." he barked. Druid remained at her side nuzzling. "You did great Soleil but I'm surprised you didn't use your abilities. I respect you fighting the beast on equal to it's own." he complement her on her job well done.

Warlock watched on the sidelines with everyone and also watched Druid's protective nature build when he saw Soleil get hurt. He thought his brother was respectful but should have lend Soleil more of a hand. Although he knew his brother respected Soleil and if Soleil didn't ask for help. Druid wasn't going to disgrace Soleil like that in front of everyone. The moment Soleil took the beast down Warlock went swiftly to Soleil's side knowing she was hurt. Druid didn't even have to ask and quickly began applying some ointment to prevent infection.

"I'm here Soleil." he said softly and began working. "Charm, why don't you begin washing her wounds and the blood off her fur." he instructed.

Charm watched amazed at how Soleil fought the stag. Fighting it on equal terms and using no abilities at all. Not many hunters have luck with out using their specail abilities. But when Soleil got injurd from the fight, Charm ran quickly to her side with Warlock and checked her wounds. The girl was lucky to be alive. Luck only comes to those you diserve it.

Charm brought out a vial of water. A water mixed with healing and cleaning herbs. Then pouring some water onto a small white clothe and dabbing it onto the Soleils wounds. "Don't worry. This special elixer of water shall not sting when touching the wound. Instead, you'll feel delight," smiling upon Soleil. Cleaning each wound and washing off the blood from her fur with another clothe with regular water... Charm makes sure to perfect each elixer she makes.
