Hoshi put her finger on the page and traced along the pages of the new chapter and didn't find all that much. The new chapter looked as if it was leading up to the next chapter. She was tempted yet again to just completely skip this chapter but, she decided that it would be best to just skim this chapter. Especially if it was leading up to a chapter that she might learn something. She didn't learn really anything from the new chapter except that it was in fact leading up to the next chapter. Hoshi was about half way through the chapter when she decided that she was just going to skip through the rest of it. Hoshi flipped the pages until she was looking upon the new chapter. She smiled softly and knew that she was going to learn something.

She was getting a little tired from all the walking she was doing and she sat down next to a tree in the shade. Hoshi felt much better and she was ready to get back into the book. She sat crisscrossed and put the book in her lap. Hoshi then started to read. It only took her a few pages before the information started to flood in. This new chapter was full of things that she didn't know about Oto. Hoshi's smile returned really fast and she was happy. Hoshi flew past the new chapter and was ready to start a new chapter. Hoshi had finally learned very important things that may actually come up.

The book still had plenty to teach Hoshi in the new chapter and she started the new chapter as fast as she could. Hoshi was still learning very many things from the new chapter, perhaps even more then the last chapter. Just like the last chapter, Hoshi flew through it. Reading this chapter as fast as she could, Hoshi got through the chapter extremely fast. Hoshi smiled and flipped the page to the next chapter. The next chapter looked like it might be just a bit of review but, Hoshi really didn't mind as she thought that she could use it to make sure she got everything down correctly that she had learned in the last couple chapters. She smiled softly and got ready to read the next chapter of information.

Just like Hoshi thought, the next chapter was just complete review. It even had a few questions to help her remember what she had learned. She answered the questions but, she wasn't learning anything new. This was just review so of course she didn't learn anything new. Hoshi didn't mind at all though. She really enjoyed testing her knowledge of the last couple chapters. When she would get a question wrong she would go back to the chapter that it was in and reread it. Hoshi flipped the last page of the chapter and looked at the new chapter, smiling widely.

Hoshi smiled as she got onto the new chapter and it was pretty obvious that she was going to learn quite a bit more from this book. She flipped through the pages silently as she read, getting more information about Oto as she read. She was really surprised that the good parts of the book were all the way in the back of the book. The whole book had been pretty bad up until the end. Hoshi laughed softly at this thought and quickly finished the chapter. She learned a fair amount from the chapter but, she could have learned more. Hoshi flipped the last page of the chapter and looked at the first page of the next chapter. Hoshi was already excited for the next one.

Hoshi excitedly flipped to the next page and smiled. The next chapter was going to teach her many things. Hoshi was glad that the last chapter was going to teach a good amount. She really didn't want to start a new book to learn more. She smiled as she started to read the first few pages. It only took her a matter of a couple minutes for her to finish the chapter and in turn her book. She smiled and set the book in her bag. She then stood up and looked around. She didn't know what she wanted to train now but, she wanted to train something. Hoshi smiled and picked up her bag as she walked around the training grounds.

Toshi grumbled to himself as he listened to the people around him moving about and training. He noticed others come into the training ground as well as an old face he'd seen before. He shook his head and looked at Luna. "Got any advice?" Luna looked up at him and sat right in front of him. 'You should train idiot... Isn't that what everyone else is doing?!' She meow'd angrily at him. He winced knowing what the meows meant. "Okay okay... " He mumbled to himself as he opened up a book and started to go through it. He smiled as he noticed a Jutsu called Daitoppa. He liked the sound of it. It flowed off his tongue. He read the first part of training it and nodded. He smiled as he controlled the wind around him and made it flow from the front to the back. He couldn't help but think of how easy this was.

He rolled his shoulders and smirked at Luna as she moved underneath a bench for safety. "Oh come on... I'm not that bad!" He waited but Luna stayed in her safe zone. He sighed and shook his head. He focused on changing the way the wind blew. He let his chakra slowly mingle with the air around it but when he tried to shift it into a different direction it wouldn't budge. He blinked for a moment and scratched his head. He knew he was pretty good at controlling his chakra but the wind just didn't wanna bend to his will like it had so many times before. He sighed and looked back at the book. He slowly reread the passage but it didn't give a single hint.

He sighed as he set the book down and looked at Luna. She seemed to be watching him as if to move out of the way if something was going to be coming at her. He knew she feared the power that the ball of wind could do but did she expect everything to be so dangerous. He thought about it and had to agree with that thought process actually. Ninjutsu is generally used to probably fight others and even if it was for a good thing like putting out a burning building it could still be used to attack someone. He released his chakra into the air in a huge burst and forced his will unto the wind. He twisted the wind under the bench where Luna was and ruffled her fur.

He laughed as she lunged after him. He started to run but she was too fast for him. He fell as she latched onto the back of his leg, just below the knee. She jumped off as he started to fall and watched him as he twisted and landed on his back. She slowly walked over on his chest and sat there glaring at him. He smiled and shook his head. "Okay okay you got me. I won't do that to you again..." He looked to the side and mumbled. "For now.." He gasped and winced as he felt sharp little claws dig into his chest before jumping off of him and heading back to her spot under the bench. "Yeah yeah. Love you too!" He rolled his eyes as he sat up. He slowly focused as he released his chakra into the air around him. He tried to force it like before into a different direction but it didn't even alter in the slightest, his chakra instead was whisked off with the wind.

He closed his eyes as he sat there and focused on the wind around him. He couldn't help but smile being surrounded by wind. He slowly built his chakra up, letting it drift into the air around him. He tried to think why it worked that one time but not the time just a moment ago. He tried to remember what the wind was like. He tried to remember what he did last time... Suddenly it clicked. He tried to force the wind to stop when before he just guided it to a different direction. He needed to work on the little things first before he forced the wind to stop suddenly and then move in another direction. He used his chakra to snag the wind and swirl it around him as he altered its direction to the way he wanted it to go. He smiled as it worked beautifully to him. He loved being able to control the wind to a certain extent, after all it was in his blood.

Hoshi finally decided after a bit of walking that she was going to practice her chakra and build it up more. After she had decided this, Hoshi set down her bag on the grass and stood under a tree. She quickly made a handseal and started to build up the chakra. Well, she was trying anyways. She tried for a few seconds before she let go of her handseal and decided to stop. She sighed softly and shook her hands. Hoshi smiled softly, That was only a warm up. She thought to herself to comfort herself a bit. She laughed softly and shook her hands a little more.

After shaking her hands again, Hoshi quickly made a new handseal and looked out in front of herself. She smiled as she tried to build up the chakra in her system. It took her a second to build up a tiny bit but, it wasn't nearly enough to actually count this attempt as a success. She sighed softly and let her hands fall to her side. Training for her was just not going the way it should. Hoshi wished that it was going easier but, she was just going to have to try harder if she it wasn't her day. She couldn't just let go off and take a break. She would take a break when she was finished with all of her training for the day. Hoshi smiled softly and got ready for the next attempt.

Her hands came flying up, in front of her chest and she was ready to start again. She made a handseal and right away she was able to build her chakra up in her system. Hoshi smiled as a warm feeling ran through out her. Hoshi laughed a bit and kept the building up. This was making up for her last two attempts. Well it was to her anyways. Her hands stayed in front of her for about ten seconds before Hoshi finally let her hands drop back down to her sides. Hoshi was satisfied with her last attempt but it wasn't enough to call it a day. She wasn't going to take a break until she had trained at least five things.

Hoshi gripped her pants for a second and after she did, she quickly shot her hands back up and was ready to start again. This time Hoshi made a couple of handseals but, it didn't help her at all. When she got to the part of building up the chakra it didn't do anything at all. Hoshi sighed softly and broke the handseal. She didn't want to waste any time or energy on an attempt that wasn't going to help her at all. She had done that too much and she knew that it never helped her so she didn't want to do it anymore. Well, if she could help it anyways. Hoshi smiled softly and pushed away the attempt. Just getting rid of clutter.

Hoshi didn't think about any of the last attempts as she started with a fresh slate. The only thing that she wanted to focus on was the one attempt that she managed to do it. With that in mind she brought her hands back up and quickly made a new handseal. She smiled softly and tried to build up the chakra in her system. It took her a matter of seconds to realize that it wasn't going to happen this time. Hoshi accepted the fact that it wasn't going to work and just put her hands down to her sides. She quickly got this attempt out of her mind so that she could start on a new one. She had no time to waste.

The hands came flying back up in a matter of no time. Hoshi was ready to start right away after the last attempt. Nothing was going to stop her from finishing this training as fast as she could. Hoshi smiled a bit as she tried to build up at least the tiniest bit of chakra that she could. Just a few seconds pasted by and she wasn't doing it at all. Hoshi dropped the handseal and laughed it off as much as she could. She smiled a bit as she repositioned most of her body and shook her hands. She figured that she better just try again and again until it was over. Hoshi smiled a bit and started to focus on the next attempt.

It only took her a couple more seconds to get ready for this attempt. She took a small breather so that she could refresh her body a little. She smiled and threw her hands back up in front of herself. She then made the handseal as fast as she could. Before she knew it, she was building up chakra in her system. It continued to build up until Hoshi had decided that she had enough for this time. Hoshi smiled widely and released the handseal. She even giggled a little when she felt the chakra in her body slowly dissipate. She smiled softly and knew that she was doing at least kind of good. She kept this attempt in her head for the next attempt and started to get ready.

Hoshi shook her hands off to the side quickly and brought her hands back up in front of her. She then started to make the new hand seal. However when she did her hand messed up and she completely messed up the whole handseal. She tried to fix it but, she didn't see where she went wrong. So, instead of wasting a bunch of time on the one handseal she just let it drop. She calmly put her hands on her sides and smiled softly. That was pretty silly of me. She thought to herself. She even laughed a little at the attempt and pushed it out of her head so that she didn't worry about it.

Returning to the training field and taking up an axe on the way, makoto started to practice swinging it before he released his strength on the tree. It was not something that he could do well, but he was going to try regardless. Chopping at the tree for a moment, he started to wear down quickly and went to relax for a moment. He needed to rest and he had a lot on his mind recently, not even helping his father seemed to have helped him at all… but he was going to try something new.

Makoto placed the axe down and relaxed for a moment, thinking about the tree he was swinging at and the advancement he was thinking about doing. He could swing from the side and try again and again, or he could get a saw and see what would happen if he did. He really didn’t know what to think or do by this point, so he was going to take it nice and slow. In the process of thinking, something came up to him… he may just as well chop it down to sell it as lumber… or turn it into a good supply of bokkens.

Lifting the axe up for another swing again, makoto would turn the blade down and sigh. Poor makoto was not in the mood to chop down a tree, much less feel like chopping it up into pieces so he could make his army of bokkans. Sighing and letting the axe fall to the side, makoto sat down and relaxed with his back towards the tree. Feeling the natural bond between it and himself, he knew enough about trees and well… he wanted to chop it down, but fortune was smiling on both him and the trees.

It only seemed fair to nature that the tree would play it’s part in it’s natural life cycle, undergoing it’s natural food cycle of gathering sunlight with providing him shade he liked a lot. He could sleep with this shade protecting him, but it was needed to be chopped down and given a new place… items of importance. This tree was big enough and tall enough to make a few dozen bokkens that could be used to save lives, it was pretty clear what this trees destiny was to him.

Makoto started to feel the urge to chop down the tree now, but it was not like a full fire like desire to do so. So he was going to relax and enjoy it some more, knowing that soon it was going to be a wild fire of ryo in his pocket instead of something that could be turned into firewood. Relaxing some more, people would personally think that he was one of the Azran or one had gotten to him… all he could say was thank Airi, she was the one who was turning him into a nature lover.

Finally feeling the raging fire to chop down the tree, makoto reached out and took the axe into his hand with a smile. It finally felt good and proper in his hands as he held it the best he possibly could, it was going to take him a long time to chop down this tree in particular but he was so happy that he could do so without any problems as he started swinging. Chopping away at the tree finally felt so good and fulfilling to him, smiling as he was cutting down the tree that would make him rich in the future.

Pulling the axe back from the tree, makoto spun the axe around before swinging at the tree again; the strike was nice and clean… direct and precise. Makoto was starting to get the feel for it again as he brought the axe back and swung at the trees trunk, breaking through the bark and the base of the tree with every strike he was offering to it. The shade was in the perfect place, protecting him from the heat as he chopped away at the tree.

Pulling the axe back again, makoto started to think about the price range of how many bokkans he would have. The tree itself looked like it could possibly make 100 bokkens, more or less. Still he was very eager because he made bokkens before; they sold for a very good price. Pulling his axe back before attacking the tree again, he decided it would be best to see how much pieces he could get out of the tree before making the total amount.

Drawing the axe back and launching it at the tree again, he smiled as he was almost half way there. Ity felt good that he was working in this slow pace that he was more use too, his training was suffering because he thought he could go all out. Sadly no one was perfect; he was included in this process. But the tree was slowly started to falter with his task, perfection was nearing as he continued to attack the tree with his axe. Pulling out the axe and raising it up to give it another chop, makoto swung as hard as he could.

Smashing the tree as hard as he could with his axe, makoto could only help but grin as he pulled it out and walked around the tree and started to chop at it from a brand new angle. This new angle was goiung to save his team from the trees fall as he would fall away from them all, but he was also going to use this tree as his base of operations to surpass his own father. Raising the axe again and swinging for the bark of the tree, he smashed right threw it to make his first effective chop… success.

Smiling at that new success that he could savor, makoto decided to do it again. Pulling the axe out of the tree and raising it back up to where it was before, makoto swung the axe head to the bark of the tree again to cut through it. Maybe he could be a lumberjack or a both a weapon maker and lumberjack, he had a lot of thinking he had to do… but in the end he was going to grow up to be a weapon master. Pulling out the axe and giving it another swing, makoto smiled and sighed in relief.

Throwing placing the axe head down on the ground, makoto sighed in relaxation as he was starting to recover. He was always too hard on himself and this was a great change to get back intouch with his inner self again as he was relaxed, closing his eyes and enjoying the breeze threw his face and body while he stood there. Regardless of everything he was a master at the nodachi but he lacked the power of one, that was going to change very soon.

Letting the axe drop to the ground completely, makoto fell onto the ground and closed his eyes. He was going to take a little sleep here for a moment, he was so going to enjoy this rest and relaxation he desired so much. After a small moment, he was out like a light and was soundly asleep. He was relaxed and felt completely safe where he was at. He knew that one day it was not going to be safe but until that day came, he was going to rest comfortably.

Opening his eyes and looking around for a moment, he saw that the sun was setting now. It was not a bad sign but not a good one either, well he was rested and was going to work over night to make sure this tree was chopped down. Instead of picking up the axe again, makoto decided it was best to examine the rest of the tree for the day. The tree in question looked like a good sized oak tree, not like the ones he was familiar with in the book but big enough to start an enterprise.

Placing his hand on the tree and giving it a nice smile, makoto bent his head down and started to prey for forgiveness. The tree was a worthy one and didn’t deserve to be chopped down, but at the same time, he thanked it for giving him a chance. The tree was old but had several more lifetimes to live out, but makoto was going to turn it into something that could save lives… and that is why he thanked the tree in his prayer. Opening his eyes to the tree, it was time to get back to work.

Collecting the axe again and preparing it to continue working, makoto lined the axes head up to the tree and practiced with it a few times before he swung it again to the recently opened wound. Makoto pulled the axe out and swung the axe at the tree again, chopping it again as he started to think about something else as well. This training was taking a lot longer than it did him a long time ago, but at the same time he was using all of his strength to chop the tree.

Placing the axe down again, makoto sighed as it seemed that he was not feeling it lately. He would close his eyes and start to gauge himself again closely to see what the problem was; sadly he needed to find a way to overcome this problem before it stumped him in combat. Gauging it very closely, he finally knew what the problem was; he was not very good at training like this… he needed a new way of doing this instead of doing it like this.

Lifting the axe back up, makoto took a breath and started to center him before he started swinging at the tree again. Making good and clear cuts to the tree, makoto sighed with a small smile as he started working on this tree again for better results. It was clear and effective as he moved the axe head to remove it from the tree, giving it another good swing to it’s base so he could have a lot more wood to work with.
