Oassu shrugged "I've not actually used that many jutsu in fights, if I had to hazard a guess I'd say Earth because of that sand thing I did back at Skear's Peak if that counts" he said looking down at the small pot of water "This seems like kinda a strange test" he sighed doubtfully before kneeling down and doing as instructed.

Mari peeked over Hebal's shoulder seeing how nervous she seemed "Relax Hebal you are doing fine, that's ready to flip now, just don't be as vigorous as you were before so you can catch it. Remember we aren't here to throw the food we're here to eat it" she reminded her turning back to Hayate and Felina "Well Oassu was raised in poverty, I doubt he's well educated outside his field" she said "Though I hope the boy doesn't end up hurting himself, false confidence means a weak blade, so long as he still uses his magic in battle over his swordplay I think things should be ok" she said concern creeping into her voice.

Itaka chuckled "I guess so, but lets not think on that too much, we've got a lucky situation that we don't need to do that much work. Bet a lot of demon couples might have that problem in old age if they gravitate further away from each other" he mused lying back in the jacuzzi.

Seph shuffled aound and repositioned herself so sitting next to Itaka again "Well yeah that is also true. Alpha would have had that problem eventually if circumstances were different. But hey its seen as luckier for a guy to be seeing a younger woman than it is the other way round so I'll be sure to keep you lookinng stylish at all the parties we end up going to" she joked.

Hebal nodded preparing to flip her waffle into the air "Ok I will try to do better this time. Though don't be mean I am sure Oassu could do a good job if you gave him the chance to learn and- ehhhh" she squealed and jumped suddenly jumped up in fright almost dropping the frying pan as the mixture suddely expanded and exploded the moment it was airborn leaving small splatters on the wall. "Ugh I told you I was cursed" she sighed sadly. "Maybe you guys should take over"

Felina gasped placing a small barrier up protecting the group from splatters from the explosion "I don't know what happened there Hebal, you were doing fantastic" she frowned offering Hebal a hug. "Perhaps you are cursed somehow and we could get someone from the clan to have a look into it for you. I don't see any reason why it would have failed"

"Oh don't worry I'll make sure Zadina takes the right type of equipment into battle so... what the heck was that" Hayate frowned wiping off a piece of the dough that managed to land on Sophia's tail. "Sorry about the waffle Hebal though maybe if we think of what we did differently the time before that we can come up with a way to work around the problem" he suggested.

Satoshi paused looking carefully at the surface of the water "Yeah you are earth, you can tellbby the tiny vibrations you have caused. Different elements do different things, like for fire you would expect steam, lightning you would see fizzing etc. Somethimes the most random and simple of tests work. Satisfied with that element?" she asked.

Mari blinked shocked for a second as Ivy buried herself in her hair for shelter from the dough while Sophia hopped around in pain as the hot dough had landed on her tail. Picking Sophia up to comfort her she glared at the spatter of dough on the wal l"That doesn't make any sense, I oversaw the process myself" she said gently poking the dough "I can't think of any reason that should have happened!" she said angrily cursing the dough.

Oassu shrugged "I suppose so, don't really think it's possible to change these sort of things anyway" he said taking his finger out and shaking it dry "Well what does my element mean in any case? What sort of things am I capable of?" he asked kneeling down.

Itaka chuckled "I'm sure I'll be seen as quite the playboy if you plan on attending a lot of parties, personally I'd be quite happy retiring to some mountainous place and just going hiking every day or something like that with peace and quiet. Though I suppose as friends of royals we'll get a fair few party invites" he sighed.

Hebal gasped jumping forward and petting Sophia's tail where she had been burned "I'm really sorry Sophia, I didnt mean for you too get hurt back there" she apologised with a sad sigh. "Maybe you guys should take over the cooking part and I'll get cleaning up the mess I made in the kitchen" she suggested reaching for a cloth.

Seph nodded "Yep no doubt royal parties will be a right blast... well not especially my thing butI would like to keep in touch with everyone even if it means having to attennd a few of those. The hiking part sounds ok to me if we can keep the chocobos somewhere though I would like at least one or two adventures further afield to keep things interesting. On an unrelated note, did you just hear a loud splat noise from upstairs?"

Satoshi laughed feeling a slight vibration in the ground. "Well control of the earth would involve things like earthquakes, creating armour from rocks, manipulating sand, helping plants grow. You know like nature stuff really. You are going to the desert so se if you can find anything to do with sand in your book there. "Earth elemental people are said to be quite family orientated and preferring the more calmer things in life. Guess you don't quite live up to that though"

Felina cast a small cure spell on Sophia while she kept one hand on the frying pan "It doesnt matter how it happened though... were the ingredients used in the right amount" she suggested trying to offer a solution.

Hayate shook his head taking the clorh from Hebal "nope I have actually eaten, I'll clear this mess up and you can just focus on maybe the frying part of the waffle making since that was alright first time. We can work on it and the mess isn't that bad" he assured her hoping to cheer her up.

Oassu nodded "Well guess we can't all be the stereotypes, but I'll bet most of those stereotypes probably come from the fact that ninja are often trained in certain locales with the same beliefs" he shrugged picking up the book "Still thanks for the training session, I'll be sure to practice those techniques." he said pocketing the book.

Mari nodded holding tightly to Sophia as she mewled into her chest "The ingredients were perfect I oversaw them myself, I just can't think what happened here!" she said angrily before sighing and throwing an arm around Hebal "Well don't worry Hebal I'm sure this wasn't your fault," she said steering Hebal away from the kitchen towards the couch.

Itaka tilted his head before shaking it "No I didn't hear anything, but sure you probably wouldn't have it any other way without a chocobo farm" he laughed "Should put Chobi out to breed sometime though, otherwise we won't have a gold chocobo forever" he said

Hebal paused hugging Mari "Do you want me to take care of Sophia and Ivy at the very least while you are all busy over there?" she offered slumping down on the couch not too far from where Jeckhart had been sitting "Also when my waffle comes out, can I have cream on mine by any chance guys? In fact what else is in there" she innquired.

Seph shrugged "Maybe I am just imagining things then. And sure we could breed Chobi. Perhaps sweet talk Jenna into letting us breed her with Boco otherwise it would possibly cost a small fortune to breed ourselves another one don't you think? Might need to save our pennies. Also if we ever have kids we sort of need to be close enough to take them to a school at least until teenagers" she added.

Hayate paused opening the fridge door he was about to clean "Theres jam, bottled cream, chocolate and strawberry sauce, chocolates spread and a lot of sprinkles. Really? Did you request all this Alpha because I highly doubt these were top of the list for supplies from Yithra. The whole place is like a sweet shop here" he laughed. "Can have the whole works Hebal"

Satoshi nodded "There is probably some truth to that, people with the same elements tend to come from the same areas. Still hope you found it to be useful training. Though if you don't mind I am probably just going to pack/clear out the room. Most of the stuff in here is mine afterall" she sighed.

Oassu nodded "Sure, I'll leave you to sort your stuff, see you later" he said waving to Satoshi before walking to the door and walking through it with as much casual suave as he could muster.

Mari shook her head cuddling Hebal "It's alright Hebal we'll all just stay here, Hayate can handle it anyway, you need to just relax you worked hard" she said placing Sophia down in Hebal's lap while Ivy peeked out from her hair to see if it was safe. "You were doing fantastic from what I could see, you really put a lot of energy into that mixing" she said petting Hebal's ears while Sophia flopped into Hebal's tummy.

Itaka nodded "Sure if it worked, those two had some chemistry, certainly more than she has with Boris for sure" he nodded looking over towards the door "Still think we're about ready to go? Perhaps get some food and we can't be too far away from the destination." he said

Seph nodded and gestured to the towels "After you I'll just stay in a little longer since you will take longer to get ready than I will. Must be getting on a bit in the day too as we took quite the detour. Though if we tried matching Chobi with Boco she would probable have to stop bossing him around so much otherwise he will be terrified of the sight of her" she joked leaning against the side.

Hebal's ears wiggled while she giggled at being tickled "Hey I don't want to be a party pooper. Relaxing is kinda boring and there not much to do just sitting up here... Im not good at sitting for long periods of time unless doing armour things" she admitted a litte embarrassed about the fuss.

Felina smiled taking the waffle off the heat "Well thats yours done Hebal, you come and enjoy this one" she called over while she added the toppings and made room for Hayate to wipe the cupboard behind her "Oh hey Oassu... learning new tricks I see? Wanna give us a hand with the cooking. We are sort of a couple of people down at the moment as we had a small accident earlier" she greeted him.

Oassu raised an eyebrow looking at the mess on the walls "So I see, what happened here?" he asked going over to where the others are, "Least those ones that cooked properly smell great" he said happily cuddling in behind Felina "Where's Cid?" he added looking around.

Itaka shrugged "I think Boco just learns to deal with it, battle chocobos are bred and trained to follow orders and be submissive, they'd be dangerous otherwise" he said hauling himself out of the tub and wrapping a towel around himself "Though we'll be passing through time zones, might have plenty of daylight left wherever we're going" he grunted disapprovingly.

Mari shook her head "You are not a party pooper," she said not really familiar with the expression but moving on anyway "Still I know you like to keep moving and playing so I won't stop you if you want to get going again, just thought you seemed a little down" she said watching Sophia cuddle into Hebal's fur like a pillow.

Seph laughed pattinng Itaka on the shoulder "Well a good night sleep in the air where its cool isn't such a bad thought is it? Submissive is ok to a point but you need to leave them with enough independence to be able to do your own thing and stand up for yourself at times" she shrugged peeking over the side at Itaka. "The sun sets fast in the desert so it will likely be a dark evening anyway you know. I mean it must be getting far into the days now" she predicted.

Hebal looked down surprised by the attention from Sophia "Well I don't think I can get up now that Sophia is all settled like this" she mumled giving Mari a hug. "Could you do mea favour and grab my waffle for me? With some chocolate sprinkles on top please?" she requested before twisting around to greet Oassu with a wave.

Felina pointed to her bag which was sitting down next to the table "Cid is ok, hes just bored and sleeping again. He's starting to get lazy I think. So what did Satoshi teach you dare I ask? Do I need to make sure you aren't up to anything naughty next time I take you to the palace.?" she teased while she set up the ingredients for both of them.

"A waffle exploded, nothing especially interesting to see here" Hayate explained cleaning up the last off the mess. "We had Hebal cooking before and it went well until suddenly just boom for no reason" he then whispered once at the same height as Oassu.
