We leap into the story with half a foot in trouble already! Feng and Buddy discovered the terror yacht of Doctor Inferno already docked just off of the mysterious Moltar Island, and the daring duo have sped off in hasty pursuit of the dastardly villain! But who knows what perils await them in the jungles of an uncharted island?
It was late into the hot and sticky tropical night when Feng and his trusty sidekick--the ever lovely and voluptuous Buddy Silver--crashed out of the underbrush into a suspiciously open clearing, both covered in sweat from the ever humbling Fire Nation weather.
"Leaping Frog-Lizards!" Buddy Silver exclaimed as she allowed herself to slump to the ground, resting against a smooth stone as she fanned herself with a hand. "How do those hot-men do it? It must still be forty degrees and the sun set hours ago!"
"I don't disagree, Buddy, but we've hardly the time to go back for a cold drink." Feng Jao grumbled, plucking his hat from his head and using it to wipe his brow. Despite his outwards boldness, an unsettling, creeping feeling has wrapped itself around his heart and won't let go. "Keep an eye out, we must be close now. I can practically smell Inferno's cologne."
Buddy nodded, resolve a bit bolstered despite the unfair weather, as Feng Jao took a moment to observe his surroundings (rolling Resolve [+2] for investigating in unfavorable conditions).

(DM: Wow, a 12! Now that's enough to get something good. Since you're looking for a way to beat your nemesis to the punch, how about the clearing you've entered just happens to contain a hidden entrance to the ruins you're looking for? Maybe a hidden escape tunnel you've managed to find the exit for, and now you can use as an entrance.)
As his gaze wanders about the clearing, Feng Jao finds himself gazing at Buddy's rear--or wait, no, at what lies beneath it!
"Buddy, get your rear in gear, or rather get off your derriere!" Feng quips excitedly, lending a hand to Buddy who quickly--if not particularly happily--pulls herself off of the ground.
"What is it, Lock?" She says curiously as Feng runs his hands along the stones where she sat, brushing aside dirt to reveal crude hanzi symbols carved into the stone. Too old for Buddy to recognize, but Feng seemed to get the picture.
"An old Fire Nation escape tunnel! A proper keep could have dozens of these things for making a hasty escape from anywhere. Time must have worn away whatever was keeping it properly hidden..." Feng mused as he continued to clear away dirt and plant matter, slowly revealing a fairly sizable stone hatch.
"Dozens?" Buddy raised an eyebrow with a smirk even as she bent a whip of water to clear away the last of the detritus, then froze her bending water into a makeshift crowbar, wrenching the trapdoor open and revealing a dark chasm within. "Wow, your ancestors must have been almost as paranoid as you."
"It's only paranoia if you're wrong..." Feng said as he retrieved a portable oil lantern from his knapsack and lit it, the pair peering into the eerie tunnel ahead as they began move into the tunnel, flickering shadows just barely held at bay.
