- Katashi is quite the independent person he likes to do thing for himself and prefers not to ask for help if necessary. Events in his life have led him to be pessimistic. Not a lot has gone right for him so expects the worse and hopes for the best. Katashi is very hard working, he doesn't mind doing what needs to be done and is willing to put in the extra mile. He is also helpful and will help someone in need without much thought.
➳ What’s their backstory?
- Katashi was born in the summertime of 1924 the youngest of three boys. His family were poor farmers so he began work early. When WW2 started in his later teen years things got worse. His middle brother had already been conscripted into the army and the oldest was safe for now being the eldest. And the family feared Katashi would be as conscripted as well. They had hoped the war would be over by the time he was 20 but alas that was not the case. In 1944 he was 20 and required to sign up. He wasn't well built but having grown doing farm work made it where he survived training. Soon after he was thrown to the frontlines of a war torn city. As it was later in the war they were losing. They were losing position when he got shot. He was able to remain hidden till the other side had passed his position and he had passed out. He was found and taken in by a civilian. They told him that they not human but a vampire and offered Katashi a way to survive the gun wound that was not healing and had become infected making him deathly ill but also warned him of the cost. Desperate not to die he agreed. Having survived being turned his fellow vampire taught him the basics in the daytime and moving around to avoid detection at night. On one of these transits they were spotted by hunters and chased. They got separated and once safe Katashi tried to find his friend but was unable to find him tough he searched for quite sometime before assuming he wouldn't see his friend again the hunters likely caught them. As years went on he choose to stay out of the public. As society recovered he decided to give the world another go. If had been a long time and he could avoid being recognised. He felt it was better his family assumed he was dead. He decided to take night classes to learn english and get an education and eventually decided to study a broad when an opportunity appeared in a university near Direwood WI.
