 Aricia, Queen of The Royal Blood Thoughts: ------Mood:Yoki: █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ Devil Trigger: █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █#E2725B╟──────────────────────╢ Aricia laughed at Dante's response, it had seemed both of them were just getting warmed up as he put it "You really are much more entertaining than your brother, talkative, cocky, makes it that much sweeter when you're begging for mercy." Noticing that her opponent had began to charge her, Aricia matched the speed he had charged her with and simply kept him out of range from hitting her, her own cocky smile showing on her face which remained even as she became surrounded by the blades. Using her own sword, she became to deflect the blades away from her though and with her speed, avoid the rest however she miscalculated one of the energy swords and had it impale her leg because of it, the blood demon queen dropped to the floor with the energy blade sticking out from her leg, her eyes staring daggers at Dante "I'll give you credit cur, you managed to land a significant blow but now, now you have sealed your fate." The white of her eyes began to turn blood red as she continued to stare daggers into her opponent, her skin turned a pure white and cracks began to form all along her body with the largest one along her torso, revealing all the blood that she had stored up within her body as it flowed through her. Her long black hair turn the same pale white as her skin and horns began to protrude from her forehead. "Prepare for your oncoming pain you worthless dog." The Queen of The Royal Blood had just activated her devil trigger and revealed what she considered to be her real look. grabbing onto the energy blades handle she ripped it out from her leg and causes a large amount of blood to spurt out from the wound before she took control of the blood and redirected it normally through her leg, she got back up to her feet and rushed down the half demon, with the full intent of grabbing onto his neck and drain the blood from his body, which if connected would cause him excruciating agony since he would feel all the blood within his body being redirecting to his neck and into her body, while at the same time she would use her sharp teeth to bite into his neck and injest the blood as it was being redirected gorging herself on it, empowering her the more she drank. Brygos smiled at the fact that Vergil did indeed know of their culture and just what he was "Then you know just what an honor it is for you to have an executioner remove his helmet during battle, you are a worthy of seeing my face before death, but in accordance with the new rule, death shall not happen so may you meet Kritanta and be rejected." The large demon tossed his helmet out of the ring, causing a loud thud as it landed. When Vergil teleported behind him, the massive demon played right into Vergils plan and swung his kanabo around only to end up missing. Now facing the white haired half demon, he began to block as many of the attacks he could but a few of them got past his defense and pierced through the joints of the armor and through the bloodweave mesh which was clearly not repairing anywhere near as fast as his armor was, it took time to create the bloodweave and have it be protective, something that Brygos clearly took pride in perfecting it's regeneration. Once the attack was done the blood demon swung his heavy weapon again but this time fully expecting Vergil to teleport out of the range and so he let go of the weapon and sent it flying to where he expected him to teleport. |

"Vergil watched the helmet thud on the ground and smirked." "I appreciate the gesture, Brygos, but I have to decline. I've heard of this Kritanta, he sounds like a real douche." His face hardened when he launched his attack. "Damn you, Dante. Now your poor sense of humor is rubbing off on me... Again!"
As he reappeared a good distance from his opponent, Vergil noticed the kanabo headed towards him. Brygos had timed his counter perfectly, as the elder twin barely had time to react, the weapon grazed his left arm, ripping the fabric and drawing a small amount of blood. Knowing very well what the demon could do with that injury, Vergil immediately activated his Devil Trigger again and speed his healing process. The leathery skin of his "true" form covered the would like armor while healing the minor cut. He kicked the spiked club back to Brygos. He said nothing, but his intention was clear: He was not the type to fight an opponent who was unarmed. He stood five away from the much larger demon, sword in hand and still in Devil Trigger, waiting for his opponent to retrieve his weapon. A smile seemed to be hiding, the real battle was about to begin.

((sorry i haven't posted sooner, i've been rather busy and lately been coughing a bunch without knowing why)) Aricia, Queen of The Royal Blood Thoughts: ------Mood:Yoki: █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ Devil Trigger: █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █#E2725B╟──────────────────────╢ Aricia quickly expelled blood from her body and pooled it together infront of her as a shield ready to block the lightning that had been shot at her, at the same time she had pooled more blood behind the shield and began to fire a hail of blood needles through her shield directed at the half demon. Once all the needles had been fired, the Blood Demon Queen rushed at her opponent and lept into the air, expelling more blood yet again and forming them into her own wings, a wide smirk on her face as she stared into Dantes eyes "I will taste your blood before this is over, you will be on your knees begging me to stop mongrel." once she finished her threat, she charged towards Dante, sword in hand and intent on impaling the sword through the chest, if succesful she would spin around to him back, grip the blade and send her foot into his spine, kicking him towards the ground while ripping the sword out with all of the blood being absorbed into the blade. The moment Vergils blood was exposed, Brygos could smell it, even with his opponents superior speed the large demons prediction was correct and managed to draw some blood. A smile formed across his face which showed off his sharp teeth a little as he watched the blue clad twin activate his devil trigger. Brygos caught his weapon out of the air when it was kicked back to him, both fighters had honour when it came to fighting that much was obvious to those watching the two and even more so to anybody who understood his culture. The executioner readied his weapon to truely begin the fight and nodded towards Vergil, a sign to show that he wasn't going to hold back and fight with his full power aswell as allow him to make the first move. |

Dante watched as the demoness played with more blood to create shields. Upon realizing that needles were flying at him, he attempted dodging, only to end up with a hundred plus holes in his coat. His teeth bared slightly as he realized skin was caught in some of them. Though his body healed such wounds almost immediately, the needles had put an end to the slowed down time effect that Quick Silver had set up- as well as his Devil Trigger. He then did his best to dodge Aricia's next attack- a flying charge. Unfortunately he barely had enough time to move, and his right shoulder was caught in her sword. It pierced all the way through, leaving his right arm temporarily out of commission. It would heal quickly, but not quickly enough. There was no way she wouldn't notice. "Pretty cool trick ya got there, sprouting wings." He said with a carefree smirk, like he hadn't just been stabbed. How many times does this make that I have been impaled? I've lost count... Without a moment to spare he reached for his left hand firearm- Ebony- as a last ditch effort to defend himself. He tried to catch her as she flipped around by firing five shots- all of which missed. Damn! He mentally cursed as he collided with the ring, a Dante-shaped hole forming there within seconds. The cocky half demon forced himself up and dusted off with his uninjured arm, trying not to notice the blood that seeped from his wound and stained his already red coat. "Is that really the best threat you got? Mundus had better threats than that." He said with a cocky grin. "Also what's up with my rotten luck with women? If I'm not getting shot, I'm being stabbed." The devil hunter then hurled Alastor like a boomerang at Aricia with one solid, almost casual, motion. The sword was meant as a momentary distraction. He had no intention of harming her with the sword, he also knew it would fly back to him. No, he threw the sword to distract her long enough to send a hail of bullets in her direction. Using his right arm caused more strain than he probably needed, he grunted in pain and tried to work around it, mentally willing himself to heal faster.

There was beauty in a battle. Especially when the opposing sides were equally matched. Dante and Aricia were explosive types, they used their words as much as their actions. Their attacks could be devastating and loud. Brygos and Vergil, however, prefered to be silent. Such silence showed their seriousness. These two were the types that showed no hesitation or mercy. They dealt with their opponents quickly and moved on. But a tournament was different. Especially one that penalized for murder- at least after the last catastrophe. Vergil kept his cool. Time slowed down when he was in Devil Trigger. It passed the same way to others, making him look much faster than normal. That had always made things easier against most opponents, but Brygos wasn't a normal opponent. And neither was Vergil. Two seconds had passed since he activated his Demon for. The would that the other had created was healed by the time he reclaimed his weapon. It had given him all the time he needed. Such a trivial scratch would normally never be a problem, but again, Brygos wasn't a normal opponent. All that remained was the tiny amount of blood left on his coat. Vergil hoped that it wouldn't be enough to be of use to Brygos. Though in his current form, that coat had transformed into leathery armor-like skin, and the blood didn't transfer. Though this form would only last a short time, it would protect him until he turned back. But Vergil never activated his Devil Trigger just to heal a cut.
He took a single step forward and unsheathed his sword, half a second later he surrounded himself with ten of his Summon Swords, They spun around him once and collected above his head before launching at Brygos. They would all aim directly for his chest and those that hit would stick. In the same moment that the magically generated swords launched at the blood demon, so did Vergil. His action suggested a Rapid Slash that would normally impale his opponent. But instead of impalement, Vergil aimed for the weak spot in the left shoulder of Brygos' armor. There was no way that the large demon could dodge each sword in the 3 seconds it took for each sword to reach him. Once behind Brygos, Vergil would Air Trick his way back to his starting position and concentrate all his energy. Hopefully, his Summoned Swords would keep Brygos in place while he preformed one of his strongest attacks; Judgment Cut End. This move was most effective against multiple enemies and typically enough to end the annoyance created by mindless hordes of lesser demons in a "single" move. But Vergil had once discovered that it has uses against a single, more powerful opponent as well. Much like the normal version a purple aura surrounded Brygos as Vergil charged his attack with his hand on Yamato. But this aura was more blackish- and way larger. By the time Vergil sheathed his sword a total of 37 cuts had been made to Brygos, each is a spot of the blood demon's armor that was a joint. When Vergil's sword was sheathed, he deactivated his Devil Trigger and his Summoned Swords dissipated. Only 7 seconds had passed since activating Devil Trigger. Vergil was known for his speed, and his Devil Trigger enhanced that. But it only lasted so long. And with another fight later that day, vergil intended to save his energy as much as possible.

(( I actually did math for this.. Not much, but to give an idea of scale: 2 seconds to stand and talk since activating DT, 1/2 second to start attack, 3 seconds to use Rapid Slash and Sword Storm, 1 second for Judgment Cut End. Much research was done for accuracy.

Am I a nerd for actually researching each move thoroughly before using in in an RP, or does everyone do that? -shrug- Well anyway... ))
