Akarin watched as Lyn was preparing to heal Rin. His eyes narrowed as he watched her movements. Feeling her reiki rising again, he inhaled deeply as he had a hunch of the incantation that she was attempting to cast.

In a flash, he was over by her and placed his hand steady on her shoulder. "Not that one... Nia.." he spoke soft.

Her eyes widened as she heard that long unspoken name again. She turned to see Rin and his piercing golden eyes. She blinked,ღ.:⇀ ".. Brother...?" ↽:.ღ she said, her voice almost shaken.

She looked at him as his pendant glinted from the light. Her eyes wavered as his eyes glinted as he gave a soft smile and a subtle nod.

Lyn's eyes began to water as she nearly fell into him and hugged him tight. ღ.:⇀ "Brother!" ↽:.ღ she almost cried.

He chuckled softly, wrapped his arms around her briefly, then pushed her gently away. "Save your tears.. and heal Rin.." he said, redirecting her attention back to her captain.

Lyn blinked and nodded, returning to Rin, her kind hearted captain with renewed happiness and devotion as her reiki rose even higher.

She let out a smooth breath and decided another, lesser charm would do the trick as well. She was slightly kicking herself for thinking of the more energy consuming one first..

She focused and began to chant softly as she ran her hands, an inch away from his body again, up and down Rin. A sky blue aura danced gently around her hands as she allowed her aura to contact with Rin's skin. She began at first at his side where it seemed that the burns were more severe. She then went to his face and went down to his legs and continued the pattern back and forth slowly.

This chant was a little slower for results, but thankfully did not use as much energy and so she could use more and contain it longer.

After a few moments, her chanting continued relentlessly as his burns began to slowly but effectively heal.

Her ears twitched as she looked at his wounds. They were all nearly healed and she watched as where the burns had been were disappearing. When she felt her energy depleting, she lifted her hands and watched her aura still dance around Rin's body and burns until it disappeared, leaving him fully healed, and hopefully a little more refreshed.

She smiled softly as she let out another breath. She was a bit tired now,
but had no fear of fainting.. at least not till she goes to her room and crashes on her bed. ღ.:⇀ "I'm sorry I couldn't make the bigger burns disappear entirely now..But I did heal them enough to where they will disappear on their own in a short time..." ↽:.ღ she said with a smile, her tail wagging casually behind her.

As she held out her hands in front of him, he felt a wave of exhaustion hit him like a ton of bricks. A sound like a half-muffled groan fell from his lips as his shoulders dropped, and his head lolled slightly. He could fell what little energy he had slipping away. He knew that he wouldn't stay conscious much longer. Rinri tried his best to follow what was happening. He heard Lyn calling out for her brother, and heard a voice saying something. But during all this his strength was fading. He put all his energy into sitting up and seemed to be failing even at that. He heard a soft sound that sounded like a humming to him, he could faintly feel the effects of the spell beginning to work. The shivering stopped, but so did his ability to hold his weight. Finally, he fell backwards, slipping almost completely into unconsciousness. Though he couldn't tell who they belonged to, he could feel a pair of hands keep him from falling to hard, then gently lower him to the pillow. "Thank... You..." He barely managed his appreciation to Lyn, his words coming out with hardly any sound at all. His arms lay tightly across his chest, holding the binder still so that no one would have to see what he hates most about himself. Meanwhile he drifted into a sleep where the memory of Lyn's humming turned into a lullaby he hadn't heard since he was child.
