Zooxan is a 'lazy' troll. Not to say he isn't active- he is, Ameobadad makes sure of that- but he prefers to lets others do his work for him. You could say that he doesn't want to get his hands dirty. Sometimes the thing he wants done is as simple as someone getting him that sweet little cake he wanted, or maybe something more sinister like standing in for him on a fight. He gets these things done in a variety of ways, from the trade of information or beetles to the use of tactics like blackmail or two-timing. He will do almost anything to stay on the sidelines while another troll takes care of it for him.
As mentioned, this does not mean he is a slob. Zooxan is very aware that-like beetles and backstabbing- good looks can get you what you want. He is very active, and very aware of how he looks. He spends probably a 1/4 of his day primping, preening and looking at himself in the mirror, and runs at least once a day through the city. He has to keep up on his looks with serious dedication because deep down...Zooxan is a foodie.
He loves food, loves the way it looks, the smells, the textures and the taste. He could eat all day if Ameobadad let him. He will worship the ground of a troll who can cook good grub, and is very generous, and pays handsomely to those who cater to his specific tastes. The best way to get on Zooxan's good side is to bring him food. He will always accept it since he can't boil water without setting everything ablaze.
Some trolls with a sense of morals may find that sometimes Zooxan sometimes may give a little too much when it comes to beetles and trinkets of worth. But don't argue with him, because Zooxan will not let down. He will pay what he wants to pay, just like he will do what he wants to do when he wants to do it. He doesn't like being treated like he can't spend when he wants to. He gets easily irritated by denial of his gifts.
And while food is the way to his pump biscuit and it's easy enough to be on his generous and giving side, it is just as easy to get on his bad side. Zooxan has a notorious temper, and when things aren't going just the way he wants it, he is infamous for throwing a violent fit with severe punishments sometimes attached for the trolls that caused him displeasure. He is known to throw plates and flip tables if his food is too hot or too cold or too salty or not salty enough(you get the picture) and punish trolls with threats and sometimes acted out moments of violence. And that's just food.
To those who cause major transgressions against him(cheating him out of a deal, attacking him or a troll he is currently 'close to', any type of major backtabbery, or moments where he knows he can get a great deal out of the fear)he might possibly have your lusus kidnapped or your hive torched; precious items stolen or maybe just have someone give you a good pummeling if he's crossed.
His less deadly and destructive fits don't even have to be something a troll would think would cause problems. Sometimes it's as simple as saying no to his request, and he's not always so straight forward about how he feels. Zooxan might smile and lay it down as if he doesn't mind, but go take it out on another troll or possibly be less 'friendly' the next time you come around. Though, luckily for trolls, he rarely holds grudges and once he has let of some steam he is back to his jovial, if slightly manipulative, self.
Zooxan is especially bothered when trolls of lower blood color deny him what it is he wants. He believed quiet strongly in the hemospectrum, and expects certain levels of respect and dedication from lower caste trolls. Of course, this belief in caste does not stop him from also treating trolls with high standards regardless of blood hue if he finds them more useful than others. But when he's told no or refused something, he isn't afraid to pull the blood card before going to more extreme measures.
Along with being a highblood, Zooxan also thinks highly of his own intelligence and strength and generally believes himself to be better than most trolls, no matter rank. Why, you could strip him of his highblood status and he would still believe he's the cat's meow. He's faster, he's quippier, he's stronger and all around probably better than you. Though, because he is so smart he knows better than to brag too much about how great he is. He prefers to use his generous skills to his own benefit, showing off when the situation will improve(for him) from it.
One thing he is not good at is jokes. Zooxan is a terrible joker, but don't tell him that(unless you have a death wish). He think's he is hilarious, and expects you to as well. He can make a stituation very uncomfortable by dropping a bad joke and then tensely waiting for someone to laugh. Thankfully he tends not to notice the difference between real laughter and an awkward force laugh from a very smart and life-loving troll.
And the more you laugh at his jokes and do his chores and feed him, the more laid back Zooxan is. With his closest of trolls he will let a lot of things slide. You like that painting on his wall, take it. You don't have food at home for you and your lusus? Here's some food, don't worry about it. You accidentally broke that vase in his front entry way, relax! He can always buy a new one. Zooxan, while loving his material things, doesn't much care if they break because his mind set is stuck on 'I'm rich, I can just buy more!'
Strengths:
GENEROUS
Zooxan is far from frugal with his beetles, and tends to overpay and over-tip when he is pleased with the job another troll has done. He loves to buy art and food from local trolls and pays extravagantly. He has a soft spot for trolls 'less fortunate' than himself, and as such tends to end up spending more than he originally planned when he does his weekly shopping spree.
LAID BACK
Not big on the whole 'prim and proper' when not manipulating others into getting what he wants, Zooxan is surprisingly laid back. He throws his feet up on his table with abandon and doesn't get too mad about things breaking or getting lost. When he hangs out with trolls he is comfortable with, he is all laughs and friendly demeanor. Sometimes he can be a little too laid back in the company of other highbloods, and can be relatable moreso to the lowblood crowd at times. The only time he loses his cool is when he's denied things he wants.
JOLLY
Zooxan is a charming troll. He's the type to swing an arm around your shoulder and regale you in some funny tale(at least funny to him) or tell you a (terrible)joke. He loves laughter, good food and drink. 90% of the time, he is a great troll to be around, being of cheery disposition and friendly demeanor.
Flaws:
VIOLENT
When Zooxan isn't getting his way, or is just having a bad day, he can go from 0 to 100 in about 3 seconds. One minute he could be telling a joke, and the next he could be throwing something across the room in a fit of rage because someone didn't think he was funny. It's shocking the first time it happens, but soon trolls will learn to either dip out in times like this and hope he didn't notice them, or just work extra hard not to upset him in the first place.
Sometimes he can go on pretty nasty rages(especially when backstabbery and the likes are involved), and can do some pretty terrible things. It's best not to test the waters unless you're ready to swim with sharks.
BACKSTABBY
When Zooxan wants something he will do anything he needs to to get it. That includes all the nasty tactics like blackmail, threats, bribes and even cheating if need be. And he will do it to basically any troll. Those few that are lucky enough to be excluded from this generality should feel lucky, because Zooxan would sell out his own Lusus if the price was right, and most trolls aren't even close to the respect that he has for Amoebadad.
GLUTTONOUS
If Zooxan isn't careful, he will eat himself into basically a food coma. He is a ravenous troll with an insatiable hunger. He is never satisfied and is constantly craving food, that borders on being crazy. He spends more beetles on food than probably anything else in his life, and would probably kill a troll over the last piece of chocolate cake(or at least punch them in the face). His lusus is always on him about his eating habits, since he prefers sweet and succulent foods over the healthier stock.

Appearance: i'm not sure on exacts for looks. i'm just going to give a skeletal outline and let it be a surprise from there.
Hair: slicked back maybe? with one piece that just wont stay put!
Horns: i want them to slick back from his head at a 45 degree angle and then curve in towards each other..

Zooxan lives at the edge of Civisect, with his house resting right on the beach and facing out into the beauty of the powerful ocean. His hive is far to big for just one troll and his lusus, but Zooxan doesn't care. He pays handsomely for his multi-sectional hive with it's large bay windows(which seal tight during the day to block out the deadly Alternian sun) and plush innards. His kitchen is a marvel, though it is obviously never used(by him), and is probably the biggest highlight of his hive, with an open floor plan that gives way from kitchen to dining room with the large windows giving view of the beach at his door step.
Lusus:
AMOEBADAD
Amoebadad is a mixture of parent, live in butler and best friend. Zooxan has a lot of respect for his lusus, and the two spend a lot of time together. Amoebadad is a little bit of a worry wart, and keeps on Zooxan constantly about things like his looks, how much he spends, and how he treats other trolls(especially highbloods). He also does the cleaning, laundry and helps Zooxan schedule his day. Sadly, like his charge, Amoebadad doesn't know how to cook. If anything he is worse than Zooxan.
As far as looks go, Amoebadad is nothing more than a giant, semi-transparent gelatinous sack with hundreds of little tentacle like arms along his bottom that can stretch to three times their normal length as to be used for both movement and grabbing things. His innards are vaguely visible through his skin sack, and he has no visible mouth, instead of eating he absorbs his food through his membrane and dissolves it inside himself. He has no eyes either, but can still give off 'looks' that are felt more than seen.
