"Yeah, she's...yeah." Gretchen didn't seem entirely forthright with any additional information on the naga. Anything she could have said would likely only result in an internal berating later, and the trainee was really in no hurry for that. So she'd leave it as is.
The scythe swung again, but not at her this time. Gretchen eyed the line in the dirt, the Mist standing just past it. "No, I haven't. It's nice to meet you Sylvia." Speaking to another hunter's weapon was still a bit odd for the girl, but she still smiled, not entirely sure if the banshee would know it or not.

Gretchen did as she was told. Spinning on her heel, she swung the staff around, and instead of bringing it at Roland like a club, she instead directed all that momentum in a single, striking blow with the round head of her staff to the center of his body.
