Karmerruk Spike The Baby Dragon Nerdodactyl I'm thankfully a Canadian, however we had our own Trump in the form of Stephen Harper for almost 10 years, and one of the last things he did in office was pass something that gives the US military the power to act in Canada as if it were part of the States. So i'm ******** worried about what s**t might go down. perhaps, but it seems on his first meeting with the world leaders, like our PM trudeau, he is being respectful, and listening. i don't think he can do as much as he claims The president assigns the seats of the supreme court, and there's already a vacancy. Many of them are in their 80s, so if any of them die or retire during his presidency then he also gets to appoint those seats as well. He may not be able to do all that he promised, but those facts have me scared shitless.
that's very true, but it's also fact when it comes to anything major, such as deportation en masse, cancelling NAFTA. etc. anything major that has massive impact on USA or North america, he either has to consult or get approval from many parties

For me it's mostly that he's validated the bigotted idiots out there. Bottom line, I don't want him to fail as a president because that would mean the US suffers. However, I freaked out thinking Bush was going to screw up, and as bad as I thought Bush was, Trump is 100 times worse. He has no idea what he's doing, and electing him was like putting a toddler in front of the controls of an airplane. Still, I am glad to not be in the US right now.
