(Oh goodness Camilla! You really wanted that mini didn't you!)
It was a little awkward looking down at the mini with her phone, but Camilla didn't want to move for fear of scaring it away. The mouse, a plain white Miced Tea, just sat there cleaning it's fur. Completely oblivious to all the predators around it. Camilla wasn't sure whether the mouse was either very brave, very chill, or just not well programmed... Either way, she was catching it!
Once she had things lined up well enough, Camilla puts her finger on the ball, and after a moment of waiting, flicks her finger forwards! The ball goes flying and boops the little mouse on the head before sucking it up into the pumpkin shaped capsule! It was a tense few seconds as the ball rocked back and forth, once, twice, and- Click! The ball settles to a stop before something on the screen pops up saying she caught it! "Ooo! Yay, yay! I caught it!" she cheers maybe a bit too excitedly!
She'd had such trouble with her Batling, and she kinda felt like Carlos had caught it instead of her; but, this mouse, she caught all her own! Camilla was starting to see the appeal of this game!

Bartholomew Blackhorn stepped into the creepateria and glided towards the lunch line. Since he was rather hungry, his mind was well set on getting himself lunch, but a gathering crowd of students caught his attention. He paused and looked over, trying to see what was going on. Hmmm... I wonder what is going on over there? I'll have to check it out after... nope, lots of people. Connections first, food later. He thought to himself, genuinely intrigued by the little booth.
Upon making his way over, he had a flier shoved in his face, which he promptly read. Although on the outside he seemed only moderately excited, inside Barty was screaming with joy. Since coming to the academy, he had grown to dearly love minipets, despite originally disliking them. So, of course, he instantly pulled out his phone and got the app.
[[Welcome to minipet go. This is an interactive game that allows you to catch minipets. We have minipets of all varieties. Some are water types and are located near the water, and others are fire types located near lava.
You can travel all of Halloween and collect them all.]]
A character appeared on his phone screen. "I’m professor deadwood. Nice to meet you." "Now tell me, are you a boy or a girl?" Barty, of course, clicked on "boy", then eagerly awaited the next question.
"What is your name?" "MobB0ss" Barty entered with ease, as it was his normal go-to username.
"Perfect. Now please take this and fill out my minidex. But wait before you go it’s dangerous. Pick one of these starters here: "
Three minipets appeared on the screen... "You now have unlimited miniballs until you catch your first one, and it will not run away on you."
The excitement greatly grew in Barty as he came to the starter selection, but the suited jackalope was careful to keep his outward composure. Looking over the three minipets, he was a bit saddened that he was going to have to make a choice between them. He carefully debated each. Eventually, he came to the conclusion that the Invisible dog would be his starter. Although he thought the others were rather cute, he could not help but think about what a tactical advantage it would be to have an invisible dog for a companion.
Although he could not see the dog, he threw a miniball in the direction he thought the mini would be. Somehow, he caught it to! A quick joyous smile emerged on his face, but faded almost instantly into his normal charming smile.
phantompanther13 I know I am hoping into this late, but fantastic idea! Barty would be so addicted to this game! 4laugh

(Hot dang Camilla! Your becoming a catching pro!)
There were many cheers and noise and the creepteria was far louder then it normally was; much to the chagrin of it's usual lunch goers. That's why the Dormouse ghoul didn't notice a certain Jackalope boil break character. Camilla herself was too busy rescuing a Miced tea Guardian, just like her dear Shiro, from someone's plate.
The white mouse with red markings sat easily on someone's burger sipping out of their cup of soda... Yes, clearly these weren't programmed with proper minipet behavior... No Mice Tea would just sit out in the open like that... And they'd never drink soda either! They were strictly... Teavores? She'd only ever seen them drink tea and eat fear candy... Frowning slightly, Camilla flicks the ball at the digital mouse. It boops the little rodent on the head before sucking it into the ball!
Camilla did smile in amusement as the pumpkin capsule lands on the person's burger and rocks a few times before a audible click sounds from her phone! "Yay!" she cheers excitedly before entering in a name and sending it on it's way. Her eye had just caught sight of a noise bat when her ear flicks at the sound of a familiar voice. Turning, she was surprised to see the well dressed jackalope that rescued her from the snow a while back! "Ooo! Hi!" she chirps excitedly as her tail gives a merry wag!
When asked if she was enjoying the game too, her eyes widened for a moment! She hadn't pegged him as the sort to play a mobile game, much less Minismon! Her surprised expression didn't last long, however, and she soon settles into her usually cheerful expression. "I'm enjoying it, yeah! At first I wasn't quite sure of the point. The main Minismon series has more story and the minis are more accurately programmed. But, after catching a few Minis, I can definitely see the appeal of being able to catch Minis anywhere! Heh." she explains with a laugh at the end. She also didn't say it, but as much as she liked Minismon, she preferred live minis she could cuddle and hold.
"How do you like it?" she asks curiously as her tail slows to a inquisitive wag. If Minismon Go could cause excitement even in someone as stiff and formal as the jackalope before her, it truly must be wonderful! Course... She didn't exactly know him that well... Her brain had been pretty fogged up with grogginess due to the snow and the cold and yeah...
