Personality: Nicolette is shy when you first meet her but when you do get to know her and she gets comfortable with you, you might be surprised. She loves to meet new friends but still sorta has trust issues so she doesn't like to get attached to people. Overall Nicolette is a very lovable person and you'll find that you can probably easily relate to her and you can definitely talk to her about your problems because she's very comforting and does her best to please everyone. That can be both a good and a bad thing but she hates seeing people upset.
Bio: When Nicolette was just a young mermaid her parents discovered she was extremely intelligent by how fast she picked up music and how easy learning new languages. Though she was smart it took a while for her powers to come in, way longer than it did for her siblings which caused her to be a little distressed. When her powers did come she couldn't control them and she was sent off to her great grandfather so that he could teach her how to use and control her abundant powers.
After learning all that she could from her great grandfather underwater she decided that she wanted to learn and explore the world above the sea, to her parents distaste. At age 16 she left without telling anyone so she could explore the supposedly dangerous land that everyone else were to afraid to step foot on. That's basically how she started at the academy.
