I'm Lucie from England (part of the UK). I noticed this guild when I had to get the Guildmember achievement as i was pretty stuck. Jus startin' to get an idea bout this place but likin wot i see so far. Wot i do... well im into me music wide range of music but its generally gonna be fast and loud. I also luv to draw but I dont get much chance and when i do its pretty slow goin as its gotta be jus right otherwise its scrapped. oh shoppin and m8s I luv goin to get new stuff an me m8s are bonkers so if im not around fer a few days i'm probably wiv them. Hope to catchya around eva around the towns or forums but I'm luvin the Lake Kinard game an i've been told to get me kin levelled up b4 the next event.

That's a good idea to raise kin before the next event. Lake Kindred is relatively new, so Gaia will likely make the next events center around it too. Some events force you to use a special event kin, so you'll have to start from level 1 anyway. <.< >.> but it's good to have a good understanding of Lake Kindred anyway. xD;

Thanks for the welcome. I didn't realise that they made you use special event kin. Do they let you choose which one you start with, like they did when I first started on Lake Kinard?

Um, I think we've had 3 events for far (that I can think of).
The first event introduced the kin, so you could choose between the four starters. My memory is already hazy, but I don't think we had to specifically stick to only the starter kin to unlock achievements.
The second event happened over the summer and Zen Temple was introduced. It was a team event, you were either on the kitsune team (Kitsuko the Kitsune) or the tanuki team (Taro the Tanuki). You could technically fight with any kin that you wanted. However, if you wanted your kills to count for your team, you had to use either the Kitsuko or the Taro. The kin were soulbound to the accounts and couldn't be traded during that time. They were unlocked after the event.
We just had a Halloween event. There were no 'starters' to pick from during that event. You could play with whatever kin you had. The exception to that was a leader board that showed the players with top kills of a specific kin. But for your kills to count, you had to use specific kin that appeared during that event. (Those lab area kin.)
So... the short answer is yes. So far they let us pick our side/kin for the event. The kin are soulbound during the event, and are unlocked afterward.
