Requiem of Whyspers Mykel groaned at this point. Of course they'd have a way to counterattack that. "Moonblast, Mykel!" Lykas called out. The Gardevoir nodded and, sweeping his hand through the air, released a crescent blast of lunar energy toward the incoming attack, aiming to cancel it out. "I'd call stealing someone else's attack cheating." Mykel stated plainly, sidestepping gracefully in order to keep in motion.
"Lucario cario lucar cario rio." (Just wait and see what's in store.) The Mega Lucario replied as it stood up and turned around to face Mykel, a shower of fairy dust and sparks of electricity fluttering out of existence between them after their two attacks had clashed and cancelled each other out. It's almost like they were back to square one.
"Not bad, I guess we need to take things up a notch. Lucario, get a read on its aura, Foresight." Korrina ordered. Uh oh.
Mega Lucario responded to the attack by closing its eyes and standing very still. The Aura Pokemon would focus its sixth sense on Mykel as it read its aura, rapidly taking in everything about it. Like a dog given an old sock to sniff out its prey, Mega Lucario now had Mykel 'aura scent' fresh on its mind and it was not going to let it avoid its wraith anymore. This could mean trouble.

....Son of a-. Lykas knew what that meant. That was a tracking technique used to hunt down a target with ease, especially one in hiding. And with Lucario's ability to not only sense energy but track it's movement as well, they were in trouble here. "We need to try and end this as fast as possible, Mykel." Lykas told his partner, the Gardevoir nodding in agreement.
"Believe me, I know. I can feel his eyes on me and they're not even open." Mykel replied. ""Just say the word, boss!"
"You got it. Psychic!" Lykas replied, hoping to have this ended as soon as possible. He knew that if Mykel got hit by one of those Steel-type moves, specifically, that he would be done. He'd have to either block every attack that came at him, which he knew wasn't possible or end it rapidly. Which was also impossible but less so than a totally flawless defense. Mykel nodded and blasted a wave of Psychic energy towards the Lucario. At least it might knock it off-kilter for a moment.

Requiem of Whyspers ....Son of a-. Lykas knew what that meant. That was a tracking technique used to hunt down a target with ease, especially one in hiding. "Now! Extremespeed!" Korrina cried out to her Lucario.
Without ever opening its eyes the Mega Lucario would twirl around with grace, avoiding the brunt force of the Psychic but still getting clipped on its left shoulder which caused it to spin a little more than it wanted but did not stop it. Once the Aura Pokemon had gained a good foot it launched its self off the ground with tremendous force, coming at Mykel with a flying kick to the chest. It all happened so fast that if you blinked you didn't even see Lucario move off the ground, looked more like teleporting.

That hurt. A lot. But even as Mykel was hit, Lykas had a plan. "Teleport!" This time, Mykel would drag Lucario with him as he warped through space, changing their conjoined trajectory to send them soaring into the ground at Lucario's full speed. Mykel was knocked out by he impact, unable to move away quickly enough but, hopefully, it had done a bit of damage to the Fighting-type as well.
Once Lykas could see the fate of his closest friend, he paused. Was it worth it to keep fighting like this? To put the rest of his Pokemon through this kind of agony? He'd intended to recall Mykel before he could be knocked out but it had simply gone so fast he didn't have a chance to react to it. In his hesitation, Furor released herself from her ball. "Gyaaaa."
"I can't do it, Furor. I can't make you go back in there and get hurt again." He told her, rubbing the atrocious Pokemon's face softly. "Gyaaaaaaa." She wasn't going to be forced by him. It took a bit of doing but she managed to flip Mykel's ball free with her tail. "You....You aren't going to give up, are you?" Lykas asked, a bit surprised. He knew how his Pokemon could be. They were as stubborn as he was. But he also knew when he should give up and stop fighting. His Pokemon, on the other hand? They wouldn't stop fighting for his sake unless they didn't have the strength to keep going. Lykas knew that Furor couldn't have much strength left and yet she was still willing to fight. Taking the ball belonging to Mykel, he recalled the Gardevoir. "Be careful." He urged Furor, the Gyarados returning to the battlefield now, just in case. Better to be there and not be needed than to leave the field empty and forfeit the battle.

Lykas could only look on, mouth agape in astonishment at the power Furor was able to put behind her attack. He hadn't realized she had quite so much potential, even as a creature praised for it's destructive prowess. "You feeling alright?" He asked after he attack was done, wincing slightly at the damaged Lucario. Mega or not, that had to hurt.
"Gyaaaaaah." Furor responded, more energetic than before
"Awesome. Let's see if we can win this, then." Lykas replied, hearing Korrina call her attack at the same time. "Bounce!" The Gyarados reacted near instantly, slamming her tail into the ground and hurling herself skyward, cloaked in a whirling maelstrom of wind. The Lucario's blazing fast attack caught her off guard, slightly but with her newfound strength and vigor, she reacted a bit faster. Instead of the back of head, she moved just enough that the kick glanced off the side of one of her dorsal fins. It still hit her but nowhere near where Lucario had aimed. In the process of looking her, however, Lucario allowed the flying serpent to twist her lower body around and slap it full strength with her tail, with now glowed with the windy energy of the Flying-type she had had taken on.

The Mega Lucario took the hit head on, the Pokemon flying away and slamming into the outer tower wall. "Lucario!" Korrina cried out.
"Car..." Growled the Aura Pokemon as it dislodged its self and fell back down to the battlefield, kneeling down on the ground and panting slightly.
"Alright, time to pull out all the stops, if you can survive this then you have truly conquered this tower." The gym leader said as she turned her attention to the Lucario. "Go Lucario, unleash your true strength...use Superpower!" The girl shouted.
The Lucario would stand back straight up and stare down the Gyarados. As its stare intensified the chi signature coming from the Aura Pokemon was rapidly increasing in strength. A visible brown aura of chi would begin to form around Lucario, the chi flowing upwards, so dense that even bits of rocks and dirt would flow up with it. If Lykas was shocked by Lucario's chi when it Mega Evolved he might now be speechless.
"Go!" Korrina shouted. With that said the Lucario would disappear in a flash, reappearing in front of the Gyarado's face as it attempted to give it a kick to the head again. Once the blow was dealt or missed it would disappear again, reappearing behind it as it grabbed on its tall and tried to swing it overhead and slam it onto the ground behind it. If that also succeeded the Fighting type would disappear and reappear once more as it came down on the Gyarados from above with twin fists surging with Fighting chi, the Lucario intending to crash into the Gyarados fists first and unleash an explosive surge of Fighting chi with it.

"Furor! Dragon Pulse Shield!" Lykas called out, sensing the incredible spike in Lucario's chi. He had to give Furor an order before it overwhelmed him. Sometimes it just plain sucked to be chi sensitive.
Furor heard the call and it took a second to recall the move. It was an atypical use of Dragon Pulse but it just might do the trick. Rather than fire off a beam of Dragon chi, she poured all of that energy into a single point, the orb growing in size until it had essentially swallowed her up, leaving her to swim in a massive bubble of sizzling Dragon-type energy. With her recently unlocked potential, the bubble was denser than it would normally have been, leaving Lucario to wade through a lake of searing energy to reach the serpent, which it appeared wasn't doing much to stop it.
Dodging the kick to the head, Furor managed to coil her tail around rather quickly but when the meteor-like punch came from above, she didn't see it in time to dodge it and ended up slammed face first into the floor. The explosive blast of fighting chi didn't help her any, either. Regardless, she would eventually pry her face out of the floor, looking rather woozy. Depending on how Lucario fared with that Dragon Pulse shield and how badly it was hurt by wading through all that chi, she might be done.
