adult age is differ according to the country law?

what the age where you will be consider as adult,i know each country has a difference set of standard, my country use the normal 18 years and above as the standard while in korea, its the age of 20 ,so what about your country standard ?? biggrin

Here in the U.S.A., it's a bit complicated. The age of consent is 16 years old, and one can be tried as an adult within the court system at this age. One becomes an adult at 18 years of age and can legally vote and serve in the military. But one cannot legally drink until the age of 21 years. Personally, I think that those who fight for our country and are under the age of 21 deserve to have a drink.

Right now, my county has a [juvenile] court case that just started ... a 12 year old, now 13, is being charged with the playground killing of a 9 year old boy last year. He is the youngest person on record to be tried for murder. *Sighs* neutral

wow that pretty complicated eek ,all we have is 18 year old is an adult age,so they can do all the adult thing even get like voting and sentence like other adult when you reach 18 biggrin

Although this is all true, the age of consent is not necessarily considered 'adulthood' because it's different on a state to state basis - this is why statutory rape is a thing (aka: anyone over 18 having sexual interactions with anyone younger than 18 ). You 'officially' become an adult at 18 in the USA

In the USA, I'm pretty sure legal age of adulthood also differs by state as well. Last time I researched it, (which was a few years ago) the legal age of adulthood in Alabama was 19 instead of 18. I also believe in one state it was 17. Which I can imagine makes it very confusing for voting and other legal matters when you cross state lines. . . confused

Because of such a large discrepancy in setting an age when adulthood begins, I personally consider an adult to be above the age of 24. That's when your brain apparently stops growing, anyways. Lol!
