[PRP] Society Watchers (Azrael + Eridia)

Her smile broadened when she saw his messages. Kid's a fast learner! She thought as she drew on her own notebook and showed him once she was done. 'Nope' Eridia also shook her head and contained her giggles. Eridia signaled him to crawl the way they came. Hopefully her plan would work-- hopefully. Once they were outside, Eridia looked around, she plotted her next move. She was a small group of kids playing ball. Aha! Exactly what I need! I think.

She approached the group and demanded the ball, of course at first there was some resistance but after a few threats they gave up the item. "Phase 1 complete!!" She tossed the ball at Azrael, she wanted to see how well he could catch.

he groaned inwardly, she was going to take every advantage of him she could, wasn't she? Might as well be some kind of drone he supposed. When her back was turned he made a face at her then went back to his neutral expression. He inwardly scolded himself for being so emotional and let out a silent huff.

Azrael left his sketchbook in the bush and crawled after her, the twigs and leaves scraped past his face and tickled quite a bit as he exited. He followed behind her and watched as she took the kid's ball, demanding as a highblood should be. Well, he certainly approved of her attitude, very fitting of her caste.

He caught the ball, but only barely. Probably due to luck and Eridia's aim. Azrael was not exactly used to playing games of catch with anyone, so his dexterity in such matters were almost nonexistent. He tilted his head at her in confusion. What were they doing?

"Well," With her hands on her hips Eridia looked at the blueblood, tilting her head to the opposite side. She noticed he looked a bit confused. Well as confused as a pebble could get. "aren't you gonna ask?" The highblood groaned and seized the ball. This kid seems impossible to crack. When was he going to show some excitement or... anything at all? "You should've ask me what I'm up to by now! Azarel, aren't you feeling a teensy weensy curious?!"

"I mean. You've probably heard me thinking out loud already, no?" She groaned once more. "Why aren't you--" She remembered she hadn't gave the other permission to speak yet. "Ok, nevermiiiind~" She twirled and threw the ball upwards, catching it afterwards. I should allow him to speak though or else this will be boriiiing.

"You may now speak my trusty servant!" She pointed her index finger at him to provoke a dramatic effect. "Of course, Her tone turn into a colder one. "that's if you pledge your loyalty toooo, me." She grinned, she wanted to see his react to her proposal. Will he get pissed and rebel against her? Gog that would be interesting to see.

Azrael just looked at her. She hadn't given him the order to speak at all so he wasn't going to disobey that order. She was his better after all. Though he was curious about the entire thing. The blueblood was feeling a tiny bit exasperated with her though. She'd already split his composure twice now. How frustrating, how infuriating how--- he gave himself another scolding. 'No, this is exactly how your betters should be towards trolls of your caste Azrael, snap out of it,'

It was kind of funny to watch her get a little bit frustrated with him though, curious. Was she not used to others being so willing to follow her around? When she and made her request he was already down on one knee, one hand over his heart and the other hand out almost exaggeratedly. "I pledge my loyalty forever and always to you Eridia,"
Now he was curious what kind of reaction she was going to have. When he had finished he got back to his feat. "So what, pray tell, are we doing. I am most confused by your actions."

The fun and resistance she searched for went down the drain as Azrael kneeled before her. He was pledging his loyalty to her. HER. A troll who looked at conflict as a source of entertainment and had much more flaws that she couldn't list. When he pledge, Eridia felt as arrows instantly stabbed her which each and every word. This wasn't happening, was it? For her, it felt like she was in one of those disgustingly sappy fairytales stories. "WOAHWOAHOWOAH WOAH. Hold on there just a second bud! Did you just pledged? You are conscious I am not letting you back your words right? Right? I'm probably make you do a blood oath or something! DO YOU WANT THAT?!"

Gog did I just got a pawn of my own? Was her current thoughts. Where was the drama, the 'you can't make me do this against my will?' Yep, indeed there was something wrong with him. He was a killjoy. "The correct thing is to first argue and theeeen accept your fate. You are killing away my love and joy!" She kneeled down in an exaggerated manner and placed the ball in front of her to lay on it-- dramatically.

"You have zero knowledge on how the world works." She sighed, still not entirely pleased. "At least you are confused. That's a good sign right?" Eridia pulled her hair back and sighed once more. "Anyways, we are going to test that couple by forcing some turns of events on their obviously planned date."

Azrael couldn't help but let a smile cross his face at her reaction, he ended up covering his mouth to repress a giggle at her reaction. She was so over the top, it was almost funny when it wasn't irritating. The young troll straightened up, returned to his stoic expression and bowed his head. "It would be my pleasure to serve you, there is nothing better that I could hope for than to be in the service of my better," Azrael said earnestly. "If you wish to make a blood pledge then I shall,"

He shook his head, "I couldn't possibly argue with you Eridia, you see, you are my better. To argue would not be right for my rank," was she really that broken up over him just doing what she said? This was confusing in and of itself. "I am sorry, but I can't bring myself to disobey my better, are you really not used to people just doing what you say without a fight? Sounds stressful,"

"I must admit that I am deeply confused by how the world works, that is why I was observing the two before," he shrugged it off a bit, he honestly didn't know everything about the world. "But it piques my curiosity even more," He held a hand out to her offering to help her up. "I see, so that is what you meant earlier, alright... then we had better get to it, I am curios to see the outcome of this. To what ends do bonds hold and shatter," The expression he had let show was the excitement he had at the idea, he didn't notice his enthusiasm for their deed to come had leaked onto his face and so didn't change it.

"Not. Stressful. It's basic troll reaction and it's entertaining." She rolled her eyes, took his hand and stood up. After all, he did pledged. Eridia straightened her dress. She was going to give him her best scowl but as she saw his face filled with enthusiasm the child stopped herself. He seemed to like her un-matchmaking idea. She was so used to hearing others complain about it, so why didn't he?

"You seem highly... interested... in my plan." She said a bit awkward, Eridia shook her head. It was certainly not the time for that. Back to her old self, she smirked back at her pawn. "Do good and we'll skip the blood oath." The highblood took the ball rather pleased and passed it to him, it felt strange someone would actually help her out on this. "Lesson number one in couples, their are weird and stupid. Plus, it's mostly composed of teens and adults. Also some teens have a soft spot for kids, so hopefully this will all work as I planned."

"Perhaps, for them. but it should not be the natural reaction," he said. Those who resisted the system fought an ultimately fruitless and selfish battle. The system was in place for a reason. He didn't get why the other trolls would react so negatively to being in service. Then again he did seem very different from the norm.

"Oh, indeed I do," He continued, he had never dared to directly effect other trolls. They didn't travel that far up to his mountain. "I'd never tested on other trolls before at least not directly, this... is a change," Azrael noded at his new 'master,' maybe it was a decision made too quickly?

He caught the ball, still rather clumsily and held it for a moment. "If not, we should probably have a back up plan, maybe...." A pause, "did you wish me to hold onto this or throw it back"

"True. Things can change in an instant." She smirked. "I expect ZERO complains from you!! Now throw the ball back peas for thinkpan! This is getting my ideas flowing~" Wild thoughts ran through her mind as she awaited the ball. She had oh-so many options to choose from yet her main plan was flawless, perfect even! The highblood observed the couple out of the corner of her eyes. They were still there. Good.

"Hey, got any ideas of your own? That way I'll know what I shouldn't do as a back up plan." She snickered, trying to see if she can anger him.

"I have none to offer," he said tossing the ball to her. Boy did she really push that status of hers. He briefly glanced at the couple, they looked like they were pretty uncomfortable despite the atmosphere of a flushed romance, "Well.... I was just thinking that maybe they are uncomfortable being seen together and that maybe you could play with that a little bit," he kept his voice low enough that they wouldn't hear him. "You see, insecurity is a strong thing and would probably be a useful tool for your plan, I was thinking maybe start off with poking at the fact that they look uncomfortable with each other," He didn't understand why he was giving this plan to her, she obviously wasn't going to take him seriously.

The couple seemed to be moving closer to the two children, Azrael figured they were looking to walk past them. He just waited to see what Eridia did and what her prompting would be for whatever plan she had in mind.

She noticed what he said was accurate. Eridia smirked, they did seem uncomfortable even with their romantic aura surrounding them. Was that due to the spectrum itself? She smirked at the other. That required further observations. Eridia grabbed the other by his wrist and ran near the couple. Once they were close, the child let go of him with a playful smile plastered on her face.

"Taaaag! You're it!" She shouted, making it seem they were just two innocent children playing a game of tag. Secrectly, Eridia hoped the other would follow her lead. She observed them from the front, back.. any perspective she could get. She even picked up their walking pattern. Damn, Azrael was right, he has an eye for this! She thought, thinking he could probably steal her job. She laughed at that though, she wouldn't give it up for the world. From what she'd seen, the yellowblood seemed confident next to their matesprite, while the highblood's walking pattern showed the opposite. They was fidgety, was the purpleblood scared? Was their lusus against this? Or was the purpleblood the main reason why it was so awkward? If the highblood was so uncomfortable why didn't they just leave the other? Eridia shook her head, this was precisely what she didn't like. Why get yourself tied up with someone if you're gonna regret it afterwards? She looked down at the ball, smirked. Change of plans.

'See if you can hear anything about a lusus.' She mouthed to the other, thinking maybe he could read her lips.

Unfortunately he didn't instantly get what she was doing until moments after her, "HEY WAIT A MINUTE!" he yelled chasing after Eridia still pretty confused. But even he knew about child's games like this so it's not like he didn't know what he was doing. Eventually he got the hang of it and watched her. Uhhh, well he wasn't sure what she mouthed to him but it was.... something about a lusus? He was paying so close attention to Eridia had attempted to relay to him, that in his distraction he collided with one of the two older trolls. He didn't seem to do much damage to the older troll but was knocked over himself, "Hey watch it!" he snapped.

"You watch it!" the purpleblood snapped back at Azrael, "go play somewhere else, wiggler!" Azrael clamped his mouth shut and didn't bother to respond in retaliation to his better even. "My... apologies," he muttered.

Eridia facepalmed. How could he be so clumsy? Well, she should have known, kid didn't seem like one who thrived on constant interactions. How the hell did he even observe others without being noticed? It was all a mystery for her. This just proved that Eridia HAD to show him how to properly hide in plain sight, some other time. Right now they had a mission at hand.

Ok ok, don't panic. She thought repeatedly and tried calming herself down. Kid was useful, he had notes of his own and he was going to be her personal slave. This is juuust a tiny setback. The highblood puffed her cheeks out slightly and decided to proceed with plan A. Which was totally adjusted to the current situation. While the older highblood scolded the other, Eridia took a few steps back, tightened her grip on the ball and breathe out. She threw the ball at him. Hard this time. Eridia did her best to aim at his head, hoping he'd catch it with his face.

"you'd better be...", the highblood shot at Azrael before leaving. It was at that moment that Azrael glanced at Eridia "THINK FAST!" she had called out and threw the ball in his direction. Reflexively Azrael grabbed the ball to keep it from hitting his face. What was she trying to pull anyway? He rolled the ball between his hands and just watched her for a moment before tossing the ball back to her, trying to see if he could gauge what she was thinking. He thought carefully on what to say next. He didn't want to rile Eridia up, but he knew that he had to somehow play a part to help her. "What are you trying to do, take my head off?" Azrael called to his "boss". It was, however, not genuine irritation and was in his usual indifference. He knew he had to be prepared for anything and this was no exception, there was no reason to get upset.

Once the ball came back her way, Eridia fell back and pretended she was hit in an exaggerated manner. he child screamed, making sure the teens heard her. To her luck, the purpleblooded teen approached her and looked at Azrael with spite. So the highblood had a soft spot for highblooded kids? Interesting.

"My gog are you ok?!" They said as they helped the child up and cooed her while Eridia pretended she was crying. "Ugh, why are all lowbloods are so annoying? Can't they learn some matters?"

"Looks who's talking about not having manners." The yellowblood scoffed and rolled their eyes.

They blinked at looked at their matesprite, it seemed like they we affected by the remark. "Care to say that to my face?"

"Remember what brought us here in the first place?! You got both of us kicked outta restaurant for being too annoyin'!"

The child tried to contain her giggles and peeked through her fingers and watched the show. The purpleblood left her side to face their date with narrowed eyes. Now both teens started arguing about things the child never imagine. Ah, this was good. Eridia was pleased, and mentally took notes of their argument. Mission succesful! She thought as she stood up and took the ball. They were too into the discussion to even notice she was fine.

"You know what? You're not even worth the fuss! I'm outta here, good luck finding someone who can tolerate your s**t!" The yellowblood stormed off, while the purpleblood headed the opposite way, not even looking at the children.

Eridia approached her pawn with a smirk and threw the ball upwards quite pleased with the results. "You almost cost me a pair." She threw the ball at his head with the ball and laughed whole-heartedly. "Good thing my plan worked out in the end! Wouldn't you agree Raaaael?" She grinned.
