"Shy, just like your owner." With another soft expression Cyn moved his hand slowly in tandem with the birds movements so as to not startle it. He'd pet the Scora for a moment before again slowly retracting his hand. "If he acts like this with mother I don't see her having a problem with Elyam. Though she will probably want him to live in his house outside unless it's raining or extreme weathers. Do you know what he'll eat?" It was best for the two to know as much as they could ahead of time. "Will we need to get him anything special, do you know?"

Syqvara grinned as Cyn seemed to approve of her familiar. It would make things easier. After all she would be near her brother often and that meant so would Elyam. The scorra shifted so that he was closer to Sy, leaning his weight against her slightly. The more attention that Cyn gave him the more he seemed to relax. "Isn't he nice?" The leaf girl asked of her twin.

"Well he didn't bite me, and he seemed to warm up to me quicker than I expected. If Elyam keeps it up, he might even fit in perfectly with the family." Cyn took a step closer to Syqvara to see how the bird would react. If he didn't seem to do anything, Cyn would reach out and give Syqvara a hug. Animals, especially tamed ones seemed to get possessive of those they see as their owner/partner/whatever.

Syqvara smiled. Knowing that her familiar would fit in was a good thing. Especially if her twin approved of him. "I'm glad you approve of him." And she was. Her brother was important in her life and she didn't want him to dislike anything or anyone that would be in her life for a while. When he got closer to her she had to chuckle. He was pushing things with the Scorra and she could tell that the bird was becoming antsy. Once Cyn hugged her, however, the bird tilted his head several times before he leaned in close and pecked at the hood that her brother always wore. If Elyam got a good hold on the thing he was going to pull.

Cyn felt a pull on his hood, a strong one at that. Looking over his shoulder at the Scorra he'd roll his eyes and sigh. "Possessive ain't ya?" The leaf male would let go of Syq and take a step back before leaning down again to Elyam's eye level. "I'm her twin ya know. I think I get claim to her first, we have known each other our whole lives." He didn't sound jealous, more like he was trying to rationalize with the animal. "Syq you're going to have to teach Elyam some rules. Can't have it gettin all green with envy anytime someone tries to give you a hug." Though he spoke to his twin, Cyn kept his eyes on the Scorra. If he were to get angry, or lunge, Cyn wanted to see it coming so he could leap back in time.

She gave a giggle when Elyam pulled on the hood to get Cyn's attention. To her it was amusing, though she supposed to her brother it was not. She gave a shrug when he started to rationalize with the bird. "He tried to keep people away from me earlier too." It could be that her shy nature made the bird feel she needed the extra protection. As her twin mentioned teaching the Scorra some rules she blinked. "Like what?" More importantly could the bird be taught anything?

Elyam had let go of the hood when Cyn let go of Syqvara. And when the boy decided to get to eye level with him and speak the bird could only tilt his head. There was no reason for the Scorra to be aggressive now that he'd gotten what he wanted.

"He'll need to learn manners. If he pulls on me, your twin how do you think he'll react if a lover of yours was to try anything?" It was an innocent enough question, no teasing involved this time around. "I'm not gonna hurt her Elyam. Do you understand me?" Cyn would ask the bird, tilting his head in a questioning manner. "If ya wanna stay with Syqvara you're gonna have to learn to share. She's a pretty girl, she's gonna have guys fawn all over her." Cyn thought for a second, an evil smirk broke out on his face. "Or we could use you to keep the boys away from her." He'd chuckle to himself lightly.

Sy looked at her familiar thoughtfully. Her brother was right, of course, she needed to teach the bird some manners. Or more specifically how to behave when others were around her. At least until she became uncomfortable with others. Then she wouldn't mind Elyam pulling or pecking at people. However, when her twin mentioned using the scorra to keep boys away from her she rolled her eyes at him. "Cyn!" Syqvara groaned before she shook her head and walked over to the couch. "Don't teach him bad habits." She could just see how that would go. With a sigh she continued to stare at the two.
