Nohealani found herself exploring the land of the gods, not old enough yet to venture below with her mother. Her father against the idea, but that was more reason for her to do so. Curious about the mortals she heard about from rumors. Her curiosity was overwhelming sometimes. She hovered over the ground as she moved, not because she felt the ground was particularly dirty, but today she didn't feel like walking far at all. Her wings needed some practice anyways. She wasn't as elegant with them as she wanted.

For Bomoko, the God's Haven was just that, a haven in which he could spend his time, without a care in the World. No one here could suffer at the paws of his Domain, and so it was as if a weight was lifted whenever he was here. As although he never set out to purposely harm the mortals that lived below, sometime it simply couldn't be helped. At least, that's what he told himself.

As he considered this, his eerie white eyes stared out in no direction in particular. The rest of his face was covered by a stone mask, the weight of which didn't seem to bother him at all. He could easily have been mistaken for a statue, at least until he heard the sound of another nearby.

His ears twitched as the sound of rhyming reached him. White eyes narrowed as he looked to see who had interrupted his quiet time. They eventually fell on a small Goddess, with wings that would make both the butterflies and the birds jealous. Bomoko had never been particularly good with younglings, and so he chose to remain perfectly still, in the hopes that she would just flutter right past him.

( Thanks! biggrin She's amazing. Also, sorry for the wait)

His luck wasn't as good as he had hoped, at least that would be the matter. Nohealani had spotted him right away. He was quite easy to, after all. She thought he was a strange rock at first, Though as she got closer she noticed there was fur along with that hard rock. To her, it looked as if it was fused all in one... She paused for a second.

"Are you a rock.... Or a lion?" She asked him. Silly question, perhaps. But, from what she could see, he was both. Did another god put a curse upon this poor soul in such a matter? Oh jeez, what if he couldn't talk? That'd be horrible.

As well as, he was covered in rocks.... Ewww. Rocks were dirty, right? She wasn't fully sure. Everything seemed so clean here. But down with the mortals, her father had spoken horrors of how dirty it was down there. She could hardly even imagine. With that, her face gave off a disgusted look.

Having failed to avoid the juvenile Goddess' attention, a low sigh could be heard coming from behind the stone mask. He blinked slowly before looking down at her. Her wings looked so fragile, he feared that a simply sneeze in her direction would enough to shatter them. It made him somewhat anxious, to have such a fragile being so close to him. She may have been a Goddess, but he was a prime example that some Gods were made of stronger stuff. Still, she was here now, and there was very little he could do about it.

When she questioned him, he blinked again. He probably only had himself to blame for such a question, since it was him who had chosen to remain perfectly still. "I am a lion." He replied, his tone of voice deep and completely neutral. Although one could easily assume that he was made of rock as well, that was not the case. If the rock on his foot crumbled away, he would still have a foot, and the rock would eventually grow back. "My rocks are like...a second skin." Bomoko could think of no better way to describe it, especially not to a youngling.

He tilted his head slightly as he noted the look of disgust on the little Goddess' face. It wasn't the first time he had seen such an expression, and he was sure it wouldn't be the last. He slowly blinked again, but said nothing.

So weird! Yet interesting, and gross at the same time. Could rocks be clean? She didn't know. Her head tilted as she looked at him. "Don't you hate being dirty?" She asked him curiously. Surely everyone did, right? Her family was pretty clean, more so his dad than anyone else, but she tried! She knew it was important to look her best all the time.

"I mean, rocks are dirty...Aren't they?" She wanted to poke his rock, but feared her paws might get dirty. Then again, dirt doesn't show up well on her paws, but she'd know it was dirty if no one else could tell. "They get dusty, and stuff." Perhaps she wasn't 100% sure about that, since she had yet to venture into the land of those who died much faster than anyone up here.

She didn't realize she was being rude, not in the slightest. "I'm Nohealani."

Bomoko raised a brow, having never really considered his rocks to be dirty. They were actually quite clean, as far as rocks went, constantly being chipped away and allowing for new rocks to inexplicably grow in their place. Judging from the look of this rather rude little Goddess, it was actually her who hated the idea of being dirty.

"I do not think that I am dirty." He said finally, after some consideration. "Even if I was though, there would be very little I could do about it. These rocks are apart of me, regardless of whether or not I hate them." Truthfully, the God of Landslides felt very little when it came to his appearance. Why would he? He guessed that such a concept would be alien to this particular Goddess.

When she stated her name, he remained motionless. "Bomoko." The utterance of his own name at least confirmed that he had registered hers. He really wasn't great with younglings.

He was so weird. How could he say they weren't dirty! She raised an eye brow and looked him over a few times, considering perhaps maybe he doesn't know what dirt really was. Yes, that had to be it. Though, she did suppose he had a good point about not being able to help that they were his rocks and what not.

She shook her mane out of her eyes to get a better look over the male before her. "You're strange" She said finally. She had been told to never hold back her feelings, though she was learning perhaps she should. Her mother was so nice and sweet, but her father wasn't. She didn't want to be rude like her father in some cases, but she didn't want to be a pushover either.

"Does... it hurt?" She asked him.

Strange? Well, the God had heard worse insults in his long life, if indeed it was meant as an insult. It was hard to tell with one so young. Even if he knew for certain that it was meant a an insult, it still would not have bothered him. Bomoko was just as tough on the inside as he quite obviously was on the outside.

At her next statement, the massive God blinked once more. Now that was something he had never been asked before. Whether it be out of fear, or simply out of a lack of caring, no mortal or fellow God had ever asked if the shedding of his rocks hurt him. Thankfully, they did not. "I am the God of Landslides. It would be quite a poor state of affairs if I were to be hurt by my own Domain." As he said that, his gaze lowered slightly. "Unfortunately, my Domain only hurts others."

From the slight change in the tone of his voice, one may have been able to tell that this particular revelation bothered the God. Not that he would ever admit to such a thing.

Nohealani looked at him curiously, she wondered if he regretted his domain, but that wasn't something she could ask another. To her, even so young, felt like it was something that wasn't suppose to be asked. She took a step towards him, but stopped herself from getting too close, remembering that he'd probably get her fur dirty. Even though he said he wasn't dirty, she didn't believe him.

He seemed sad, in a way, after he said what he did. She kinda felt bad about asking, and wanted to to tell him it was okay, but didn't want to touch him in the process. She didn't quite understand what he meant, as she had never seen something like that. Though, if it was her father, he'd tell her that mortals deserved it in one way or another.

Of course, that wouldn't bee her thoughts. The land below made her curious.

Bomoko remained perfectly still as the small Goddess took a step closer to him. She didn't seem to want to get too close, and had also fallen silent, causing him to ponder if he had in fact scared her with the talk of hurting others. Perhaps it was for the best that she feared him, as she really did look terribly fragile. Having said that though, there were plenty of mortals who feared him and his Domain, and he wasn't sure he liked the idea of being feared by his own kind as well.

"I cannot imagine that your Domain is anything quite so frightful. What is it?" Bomoko wasn't particularly interested in what her Domain was, he was simply trying to make conversation in an effort to ease her, if indeed she was scared of him. He guessed it could be Butterflies?

She wasn't sure it was frightening, it seemed more like a sad domain. At least, from the way he seemed. Though her ears perked up when he asked her domain. A smile crept to her face as he asked her what her domain was. She puffed her chest out and bat her eyes a bit. "I'm Nohealani, goddess of Elegance"

She was a perfect mix of her mother and father, at least she thought so. Her wings fluttered a little bit. She was most pleased with her domain.
