Eleanor
Eleanor had made a life-changing discovery that morning: She didn't like getting lost. She had woken up earlier than her Daddy. Normally she would wait for him to get up too, content in curling by his side while he slept, as he often pushed her away when he woke. On this particular morning however, she found herself far too hungry to sit still and so exited their cave in the mountains and went out to find something to eat. There wasn't anything very close to the cave itself, but she was determined to find something at the very least.
Unfortunately, the only thing that she found was herself becoming inevitably lost as she descended the mountain. She had been sure that she was supposed to go left at the pine tree, but maybe it had been right, instead? "Oh no..." Feeling a growing sense of dread, Eleanor turned back to the mountain and peered at the top. Faintly, she could see a blue silhouette not far from where she stood and her ears perked up. Maybe her Daddy had woken and followed her trail? Oh, thank goodness! "Daaaaaaaaddy!" Cried the spooked foal, dashing up the mountain path. She ducked her head as she approached him, but rubbed her forehead against her father's shoulder. "I'm sorry I wandered off, I was just hungry and--Oh!" Wait a second... Her father didn't have claws... and where were his scales?
She took a step back, looking up at the blue stranger she'd mistaken for her father. "You're not Daddy!" Exclaimed the filly, who was suddenly upset at the prospect of being lost again, "You're not Daddy, but you've got to help me find him! I don't wanna be lost forever!"

The scars would forever be etched upon his coat and the memories of the monster would constantly haunt him; even now, moon turns after the escape Ungwe Nique would jump at shadows and cry out in the middle of the night believing that the monster has returned to finish the job it had left unfinished. Slowly he traveled deeper into the lands of the Kawani, he was not sure what drew him or where he was headed, he only knew that he fled from his past, from the scars that marred his white coat. Nothing in this land was familiar to him; all the trees lacked the frozen beauty of his home in the Frosty Mountains. Before he could think more about the home he would never see again, a pink blur ran up to him and began to rub against his shoulder, for a split second his heart began to beat in fear but then slowed when he realized that it was a filly and not the beast that stalked his nightmares. “I’m not…” It did not take long for the tiny pink thing to realize that she had made a mistake and remove herself from his shoulder, Ungwe raised an eye brow, first she mistook him for her father and now he was to help her find the stallion that had lost the pink filly in the first place. Oh how much fun this day was turning out to be.
“Fine. I will help you find your father. But I am not sure how much help I will be, since I am not of this land myself, so I could actually get us more lost.”

Eleanor
Despite the words of the stallion, Eleanor didn't seem any bit discouraged. She skipped and jumped about his legs with a merry expression on her face. She hadn't managed to find her father, but she'd managed to find someone willing to help her find him, and that was at least half the weight off her shoulders! After dancing about him for a while, she looked up in the direction from where she'd tumbled down the mountain.
"We should go this way!" She squeaked and plowed her way forward, only to stop briefly, turn around and call back to the stranger, "Hey Mister, what's your name anyway? I'm Eleanor, but you can just call me Ellie, okay?"
