How does one crew? I've never done it and don't know what being a crew member entails.

A "Crew" Member can edit and create threads and such, as well as help "Moderate" The guild. They can hold contests and games as well. It all depends on each Captain and what is going on.

I am willing to be a trial run crew member 3nodding Trial run because I would not feel as bad about myself if and/or when I get fired but I would still consider it an important learning experience. xp

That would be a HUGE Help 3nodding And no worries, the way I see it, all crew members should Have trial runs. And I will totally take any help I can get. In a few days Coin Catchers 2.0 will open, and invited to the guild will be sent to Everyone here (Except those who have offered to help crew a little, they will be invited before that) So its going to be very busy for the first little while.

If you need anymore help I wouldn't mind at all. I've been crew for several guilds and owned three smallish guilds. Smallish being around 120 members was my highest. If you don't need the help I completely understand. Just looking for a point to keep logging in.

If you guys end up needing any help I'll try to do what I can. Let me give you a bit of backstory.

I've been on Gaia since 2008. This specific account that I'm posting on now is my newest account and was just created on October 2nd of this year. I left Gaia for a few months due to being too busy with real life to do anything but in my time on Gaia I have owned many (successful) guilds and have worked for almost every single one of the most popular guilds on Gaia for at least some period of time (often in an in-charge position). These guild include, but are not limited to, The Newbie Supporting and Training Guild, [ BURN :: the everything guild ], Gaia Job Center (the original one, not the new one they made after the old one became inactive), Oh My Gold! Polls, Contests, Give-a-ways & More!, and so many more. My own most successful guild ran 10,000+ users while it was active but then some crew members began making false accusations and the guild dwindled down and soon died. There are three guilds specifically which I owned that were spotlighted (back when Gaia had their Guild Spotlight on the Gaia Homepage) 3+ times each. One of them I know was spotlighted at least 6 times.

Before I left Gaia a few months ago I had over 20t (20-trillion) gold and 30t (30-trillion) gold worth of items. I've been friends with some of the richest users on Gaia in the past (for example B R A I N, if any of you guys know of him, was a very good friend of mine who I did charity work with some). I'm not saying any of this to brag or boast at all. All I'm saying is that I know how Gaia works and am well-qualified to help you should you end up needing it. Right now I have 0 funds and nothing but basic items as I just started this account a week and a half ago, but I plan on building up funds as soon as I can.

I would still have all of my gold and items but when I left Gaia a while back I donated every single bit of it to other users and charities that I helped with. (More than 80% of the funds I had was always used for helping with/running charities, buying art for myself, my friends, and other random users, etc.)

To finish this off, I even worked hand-in-hand with Awkward Anarchy when he first started this guild and helped him in its early stages and this guild and my old guild (which is now inactive because the user I entrusted it to closed it right after I left) were affiliates and helped advertise one another. I'm not sure I'm interested in being a part of the crew for the guild because I have too much going on in real life, but I'm more than willing to help give advice and structure help and guidance as you all make this endeavor (that seems to be a new one for pretty much all of you, from what I read).
