Bio: Born to a prostitute mother, Aikawa was sold at a young age to witches interested in his unique constitution. When that witch tired of experimenting on him, he was sold to another. This went on until at age ten he escaped his captor while said captor was fighting a DWMA agent. He did not escape alone either, taking with him a child he named Rumi and raised as his little sister. As time went on, he survived by keeping his head down and taking odd jobs to support the two of them. After many years, the DWMA learned about Aikawa's unusual abilities and extended him an offer to train that he could not afford to refuse. He and Rumi immediately left for Death City to start a new life.
As a precaution, Aikawa wears thick clothing and a hard hat for protection against the unexpected, and keeps a gas mask with him just in case.
Abilities: (Up to 8 )
+ Magic Sink: Aikawa is always the target of magic near him. If a spell can (reasonably) target Aikawa, it does. In addition, any and all magic is half again more potent when affected by this effect.
+ Physical Potency: Aikawa's strength, stamina, and flexibility are all at the very least on par with a top athlete, and at best twice that of any normal human. It's unknown if this is a trait Aikawa has always had, or if it's an effect of magic cast on him long ago.
+ Arcanum Skewing: Magic/Enchanted objects near Aikawa function erratically, often breaking and/or exploding upon contact with him. It's unknown if this is a trait Aikawa has always had, or if it's an effect of magic cast on him long ago.
+ Enchanted Resistance: The more magic Aikawa is under the effect of, the less affected he is by new magic. Example: 1 enchantment = 50% resistance, 2 = 75%, 3 = 85%, 4 = 90%, 5 = 92%, 6 = 93%, and successive enchantments provide minimal protection. It's unknown if this is a trait Aikawa has always had, or if it's an effect of magic cast on him long ago.
+ Soul Bind: Aikawa can bind parts of his body to other objects via soul waves. This binding is strong enough that it allows him to stand on walls and ceilings, and his joints would pull apart sooner than the binding.
Personality: He's a generally honest guy, although he's got far too many hangups to be called "Straight-forward". He tends never talk about himself out of old habit, and he's remarkably suspicious of people he doesn't know well. He has a generally lax attitude and any time he has access to food, he will be eating. The two fastest ways to get on his bad side are to either threaten his little sister or be a user of magic.
