Clover Island (Black and White kingdoms) RP

The premise is that on this island there are two kingdoms; The kingdom of black and the kingdom of white. In the white kingdom things can only go right while the black kingdom suffers from misfortune and bad luck in spades. It's possible to be 'banished' And its typically impossible to get back to the white kingdom if you are. Likewise if it would be 'unfortunate' to the kingdom for you to leave the white: You can't.

Every pony in either side has one 'knack' that is an innate absolute power. (regardless of unicorn, pegasus or earth pony) For example one of the 'knacks' was a pony who could repair any broken house hold object with a touch.

The Queen of the white, Yhprum has the knack of luck that spreads the entire White kingdom, and like wise the king of black, Murphy, has a bad-luck aura that shrouds the black kingdom. (Neither are evil, they simply can't help their passive ability, their knack)

I strongly recommended watching the video it will no only give a background to what I'm trying to talk about but it should also fuel a desire to RP, inspire your character..

Rules

There will not be many but there need to be a few limitations set in place.

1. In the story Clover island is cut off from the rest of the world by a contentious magical storm. No pony from the outside has ever visited Clover island (Untill the Doctor lands) So long story short you must play as a pony native to the island.


2. A knack is a powerful concept but don't pick something OP on purpose. Its also generally something really specific like one mare could control dust, sometimes really mundane like one pony who could only make coins shiny.

2.5. No one's knack is stronger than Murphy/Yhprum (That would make for a boring RP)

3.Please no Meta-gaming, try to keep your pony's thoughts and feeling authentic. They only know what they know, and do not have your insight.

4.Lastly while this would be during Celestia's reign they don't seem to acknowledge her or reference her. so phrases like "sweet Celestia' are not something they would say.

5.Post in complete paragraphs at least, intro being at least 2-3 I don't expect a novel every post but I don't want *I do action* either.

Neal Bac, or 'Neal' as most called him stared over the boarder of the white kingdom looking out over the narrow stretch of neutral territory between the him and the black kingdom. The small grey colt knew full well no pony could stop him from leaving, and today he was tempted. The party he attended today proved that he would never be able to share in the bounty of the white kingdom. If he stayed he would be cursed to always be so tantalizingly close... yet never able to fully partake. If he left here would be no coming back, but its not like it mattered anyway...

His knack, more like a curse, was that around him every pony else's knack became null; utterly negated by his presence. This meant that whenever he entered a room the queen's arua of good fortune would vanish from that room until he left, no mater what he could never have the prosperity and joy of the white kingdom! and on top of that his did nothing but make life less pleasant for those who could!

The young earth pony wasn't stupid, he could hear the whispers, some calling him 'the next Murphy' such paranoia! He didn't make anything bad per say, just...neutral. He and a friend tested his knack once and worked out that its range was roughly twenty feet. Plenty of ponies wanted him to leave, maybe today he would grant their wish.
