Things have been fairly quiet in the herd OOC wise (boo for school starting and being busy!) But with the holidays coming up hopefully we'll all have some time for a bit of fun soon, in the meantime...

IC - October 2016

Season - Fall
Weather - Cool & Dry

Summer has progressed into fall and while the relief from the heat is almost certainly welcome the cooler air has not brought any rain, the herd lands are still dry, some of the streams have dried up completely and the rest of the water sources are noticeably lower. Some are starting to worry about the winter to come. Without the rains the plants of the lands were stunted and did not produce as much herbs and supplies as the herd would have liked. The herd will almost certainly be entering winter with less supplies then they typically plan for and herd elders are bracing themselves for a difficult season.

Reports of the strange creature in the lower groves have still been filtering in now and then but try as the champions might they can't seem to find the creature, they are still urging caution especially at night. Patrols in the area have been doubled after the carcasses of some wildlife were found in the area a fortnight ago. So far there have been no attacks on Soquili themselves.

Would anyone like to do an RP with their herd member and mine? He's one of the Champions so maybe we can do something based on the update? I'm open to anything really since I'd really like to get to know others here. ^_^

I'm definitely still interested! ^_^ I know all too well how crazy life can get, especially during the holidays. As for who to use, I'd very much so like to try out an RP with Ramiel. <3

Soquili's Personality - Mimi enjoys pantomiming the various members of the herd. She's something of a mimic, repeating things she sees and hears to perfection, capturing the tone and mannerisms of who she is impersonating. She's even able to change her voice to mimic the voice of many members of the herd- which she uses for her own amusement and mischief. She isn't mean or cruel, she just enjoys laughing and lighthearted pranks. She doesn't see anything wrong with her behavior, and doesn't take anything seriously. She's flighty and somewhat hard to pin down. She is seen as a sign of favor from the Gods, which increases as she gets older. She is a bit uncomfortable with the pressure, which is likely the cause of her mimicry. As she grows she feels compelled to become an Oracle, since it seemed the expectation for her life. She takes her duties very seriously and constantly worries she isn't living up to her expectations. She spends a lot of time in prayer as an adult, though she slips back into her mimicry sometimes when she feels particularly nervous/stressed/pressured. (And occasionally just for fun)
