Waah crying I feel like the worst person ever now... First I accidentally call my friend a guy, then I forget to reply and then I absentmindedly walked past a little kid crying... and had to watch a sad movie on top of that...

I think it might be close to dying though... it needs a blood transfusion or something... But your sign is awesomista Macabre! ^_^

(( Trying to get caught up with roleplays before I leave for Anime Con this Sat-Sun. If I don't reply again before Saturday I won't have internet again until late Sunday night. Sorry took so long to reply. School has been a nightmare. Almost done with this semester. My class ends July 27th then I have 3 week break before my next batch beings haha. ))

Baer smiled at Nyx when she came out in her swimsuit and what weapons she felt were absolutely necessary. He was glad she was prepared for whatever was to come. Baer still wasn't use to the idea of assassins lurking around aimed to kill any royal they could if it wasn't for the knights standing in the way of course. Nyx was one of those knights sworn to protect him no matter what, but Baer didn't want to be completely helpless. Maybe if he learned how to use a sword then Nyx wouldn't have to work so hard guarding him. "You look lovely." Baer finally managed to say though his cheeks had flushed a dark pink hue. Ladies back in his homeland wouldn't wear such revealing clothing in fear of being called all kinds of horrible names, but Baer didn't think any of them to be true. People should be able to wear whatever they want and not feel ashamed of it. "Shall we go?" said smiling at Nyx.

Nyx gave the slightest of nods as she smiled, her own cheeks coloring slightly as she stepped out of the doorway. "That sounds like a good idea" she said, closing the bedroom door behind her as she stepped forward. "Do you wish to lead the way? Or should I?" she asked, tilting her head to the side as she thought of all possible routes to the pool and how dangerous they could be.

((Got a bad ear infection now, but I'm going to doctor tonight to get some antibiotics so hopefully I'll be feeling better within a few days. Posts might be slow until I'm feeling better though. Having off and on fever with dizzy spells DX ))

"Ladies first." Baer said as he opened the front door of the apartment then he held it open for Nyx. He was starting to like this school already even with all the dangers present. It just gave him all the more reason to be vigilant. "Do you think those assassin guys will come after us again? I wonder if the Headmaster knows about them attacking the students. It seems rather strange." Baer said as he walked with Nyx through the hallway towards the pool on the other side of campus.

Nyx gave a dazzling smile as she stepped forwards, unconsciously scanning the area for any threats. She listened to Baer's words and nodded. "I think some of them the Principle may know about, but most, she does not. Remember, she is quite a busy person" she said softly, waiting for him to close the door before she led the way, walking beside him, and alert for any dangers.

((Ear infection got worse so I had to get steroid shot on friday. Been super tired all weekend so I tried to rest when I could. Got new antibiotic so I'm hoping this one works. If it does I'll be better in 6 days. ))

Baer tried to relax and act casually as they made their way to the pool. Nyx seemed to be on high alert looking around for dangers with good reason. Baer nodded when Nyx said the Principle was a busy person so she couldn't keep track of everything that happened. "That's understandable. Good thing I have you to help keep me safe." Baer said smiling at Nyx. Shortly after they reached the indoor swimming pool. A few students were already in the pool swimming around while one was doing laps back and forth from one end to the other. Baer sat down at the edge of the pool on the shallow end with his feet dangling into the water trying to decide if he wanted to go in or not. "Nyx um this might be a bit personal, but could you tell me what your hometown is like?" Baer asked out of curiosity hoping not to offend her.

Nyx froze, grabbing her jacket and putting it on with inhumane speed when Baer asked his question. She did not wish for him to worry about her, or see her scars. "Oh... it was okay... i guess" she gave him a weak smile as she seated herself beside her friend. "I remember there being awesome sunsets... I had a good view from my window" she said lightly, otherwise silent.

(( I think my ear is finally healing up. Had a ton of homework this weekend, but now I'm finally caught up so I'm working on my roleplay replies biggrin ))

Baer smiled imagining a beautify sunset in his mind as Nyx described it. "I lived near the coal mines for a good part of my childhood. You could smell burning soot and ash in the air when you went outside, but most of us were use to it. That was until the King of my country happened to pass through my village. I guess he took a liking to me, because he demanded my parents let me go with them. I didn't enjoy the Palace as much. Coming here was a break from all that." Baer smiled feeling relieved to escape the King and Queen. Baer didn't like either of them, not just because they took him from his family either. The Queen wanted him to be perfect and beautiful, while the King wanted him to be a strong warrior like he was. It felt like he was being pulled two ways and whenever he did something to displease them there was consequences.

Nyx listened to Baer silently, her gaze forward as she did so. "It sounds like it would've been fun. You have to take me there sometime" she said, shooting him a small smile as she slowed to match his pace. She realised that she didn't have to rush, she could take her time and enjoy Baer's company.

"I would enjoy it if you came to visit sometime. Maybe the next long vacation we have away from studying we can take a trip together." Baer said with a small chuckle. He wanted to leave the Palace ever since he got there and now that he did he wanted to go back, but only because Nyx wanted to see it. "I wonder what the royal family will say." Baer said imagining his adopted mother freaking out that he brought a girl back home with him while his adoptive father would probably tease him about it saying things like "Welcome the future Queen of Mesius." Baer suddenly stopped swimming as his face started to turn a little red. "I best send them a letter before hand. Don't want his highness getting any ideas." Baer said awkwardly. He never refers to his adoptive parents as "Mother" or "Father" but more like one of the subjects that served them.

Nyx was glad that most of her weapons were waterproof, though she listened to Baer as he spoke. She relaxed in the water, letting it cool her as she listened more to his voice then his words. "I bet some wouldn't be too pleased" she said wryly, a soft teasing note in her voice as she shut her eyes, lying on her back in the water. She had always loved water, though when drinking it she got a bit edgy, always paranoid that someone had poisoned it. Once as a kid she had drunk a whole 2 liter bottle of poisoned water (due to her father) and had almost died, saved only for the fact that she had some resistance to poisons at the time. Though now, her body had no resistance whatsoever, making her reasonably scared about such things.
