New Year's Resolutions for 2014?

Seeing as how the guild appears to have been dead these last few weeks, I'm taking it upon myself to post a new topic on something that's a little dated, yet still relevant.

With a new year upon us, many people choose to set resolutions for themselves that usually peter out before the end of a month, due to not having clearly defined goals set. What sort of resolutions have you made for 2014? And this is both with regards to faith, and to everything else.

I personally have made it a resolution for 2014 to get more involved in my church and possibly look outside the church for mission opportunities. I've been wanting to do more in my faith than I've been doing lately, and so far there's been talk of me helping out my church through multimedia.

Man, I've been checking this guild regularly but only looking at that top thread there. So I've missed this one until now! Sorry about that. Anyway, getting more involved with your church and faith is a terrific resolution for the new year! I'm embarrassed to say that I don't really have any resolution for myself. I will try to come up with something. But again yours is great and I definitely wish you the best with it. smile

I'm happy to report that I've laid out two specific goals towards this end: I've become part of a church task force designed to examine our worship services and look for ways we can improve; and I'll get a chance to work with the multimedia person for the services this upcoming Sunday.
