Left alone to play to itself no that Taliana had revived and had gone to answer the door; the television set continued on with its normal programming. It was the usual daytime television, a talk show here and a cookery show there and quite frankly, easy to understand why Taliana had decided that sleep was a better option than watching anything showing on the screen. However, things were about to take a turn for the interesting.
Without any form of warning, the screen stopped, crackled for a second and began to unleash a horrible tone as the screen showed nothing but the basic primary colour test panel. In the left hand corner, one could just make out the watermark belonging to the Daily Planet News Network, in the right corner; it simply said: "Emergency Broadcast". Suddenly, the News Anchor appeared on the once empty screen and the harsh tone was replaced with her clearing her throat. She was obviously ill-prepared. So whatever was happening was recent, unexpected but like a true professional she carried on. She looked straight down the camera and began...
"We interrupt your regularly scheduled Broadcasting for this Emergency Bulletin! The people of Metropolis are being warned to stay away from Metropolis University today, after a suspected Gas Leak caused a huge explosion that destroyed an On-Campus Accommodation Block. Many young people lost their lives in the blast and we go now, live, to our reporter on the scene."
The report left the studio and was soon showing the smouldering wreckage of the MetU dormitory. Outside it, the on-scene reporter also looked rather ill-prepared and the crowd still looked on in shock as they tried to fathom what could have happened. The reporter steadied himself though, turning towards the blaze and then back towards the camera waiting for his cue. Which he gets. Within seconds he was away and speaking rather sombrely about the event. "As you can see behind me, this dormitory has been completely destroyed. Fire Crews arrived here only recently after one brave student went into the building and pulled out five trapped students. Those students are with the emergency services while their saviour is currently missing. He was last seen coming out of the building." He stopped for a second, took a breathe and then continued to tell the story of the crazy events that had unravelled. "Two meta-humans then came to try and tackle the fire. However, once emergency services arrived the fire was quickly dealt with and the recovery mission began. Many a young, bright spark lost their lives here today. No One is quite sure what triggered the blast but you can be sure campus officials will be trying desperately to find out alongside the city council. We will keep you updated as more information arrives."
The camera panned out, ending the segment. You could see a boy doubled over and puking with another young man stood next to him, his head in hands. It was Ian Wickes, the so called saviour but as fast as he had appeared on screen he was gone in a red and blue blur along with the other young man.
The studio fell quiet and soon the broadcast played out to the News' theme and regular programming retook its place.

A L I S T A I R Z A K A R I U S ✄
"I want to hide the truth, I want to shelter you, But with the beast inside, there's nowhere we can hide."
Alistair was relieved the see the door open, followed by Miss Nightingale's appearance. He smiled meekly at the female, before nodding and following her inside, before taking a seat on her couch. It wasn't like before she questioned his visit while at the same time handing him a glass of water. He didn't mind though, and thanked her for the drink before replying. "... I... just wanted to see how you were doing, that's all." Alistair spoke, as he took a sip. But unfortunately before they could get another word out, the news came onto the television and the teen couldn't believe his eyes.
An explosion at Metropolis University and several dead... But as Alistair continued to keep his gaze glued to the screen, he noticed a familiar face. The Green Lantern from before and it seemed that he was in trouble yet again. As soon as the news ended though, Miss Nightingale briskly made her way into her bedroom and picked up the phone to call her friend only to be sent to voicemail. This caused her to become even more worried and it wasn't long until Alistair was politely asked to leave. Snapping back to reality, he swallowed the lump in his throat before nodding and setting the glass of water back onto the counter as he left. Once outside, he watched her run down the street for a moment, thinking about what he should do. His head was telling him to go back to S.T.A.R Labs, but his gut was telling him to help. And so, without another second to spare, Alistair quickly ran after the worried hero.
"When you feel my heat, look into my eyes, Don't get too close, it's dark inside. It's where my demons hide."

Allies: None Enemies: None Saving: None
The small green envelope construct sailed through the air in the direction of Taliana's Apartment. Although Ian was sad he couldn't be there and that it was the note that would have to take his place, matters were a lot more urgent elsewhere. He would bring Morgan more back to the part and allow him to answer for his crimes, Morgan had damaged a lot more lives than just Ian's through what he'd done. Taliana was a masked vigilante, she didn't want people knowing who she was; Darius was an extra-dimensional asylum seeker, if the government ever got wind of that they'd take him in and... and... It would just be like something out of a sci-fi film. Prodding and probing. Testing. Darius would be gone. They'd do all sorts of things to him in order to unlock the secrets of the speed force and how it might be used to one day bring the Heroes back or better yet reach out to other Earths. Ian couldn't allow that. Darius was under his care and he would protect him! So, that meant stopping Morgan.
The envelope didn't stop as it reached to door, it phased through it instantly, flying past Taliana's head and laid itself out neatly on the table. As everyone would inevitably gather around it, the strange construct began to unfold itself into a small platform and a miniature green hologram of Ian stood a top of it. As the people gathered around it began to examine it further, Ian's small Princess Leia "help me obi won kenobi, you're my only hope" type effigy began to pace angrily. It seemed really out of character for even a fake Ian to be so angry but something about it seemed genuine. He punched his hand and eventually composing himself enough to speak, his red eyes stared at Taliana...
"Look, Taliana, I'm sorry but I'll have to be late to your party because the ******** ******** new Green Lantern just went and announced to the world that he's the Green Lantern and now everyone's frickin' out for damn blood. Namely mine. They want us all to take our damn masks off! What sort of a*****e acts so carelessly. I mean DAMMIT! THESE ARE OUR LIVES HE'S PISSING MESSING WITH!" The small Ian growled as he took a breathe, it was weird, almost unnatural to see Ian so animated... Both in movement and hologram terms. "AND THE GUARDIANS THINK THIS DOUCHEBAG CAN REPLACE ME!? I KILLED NATHANIEL GRANT! I DID THE WORK! I SAVED THE WORLD AND NOW THIS d**k HAS DECIDED TO BE THE WORLD'S BIGGEST PHALLIC SYMBOL AND JUST PISS ALL OVER ME! OVER ALL OF US! I'M BRINGING HIM TO YOU GUYS AND HE CAN LOOK YOU IN THE DAMN EYES WHEN HE APOLOGIZES FOR BRINGING THIS s**t DOWN ON US! Ian. Out."
The small Ian disappeared in a cloud of smoke and the construct dissolved soon after. Did Ian really feel like that?

✸ ✸ ✸ Goodbye ● The place of Memories FLYING TO A PLACE ⇡ UNTOUCHED BY MEMORIES ★xBlessed By The Friendly Spirits : Of Oldex мɩϲჩɑεℓ кεɲʈ
While he could have gotten there before Talia, he saw no point in waiting outside her door for her to allow them access to her home. That, and he honestly did not want to pull her door off of its hinges in order to gain access. Fortunately it didn't take long for her to arrive, and as she did, he was quick to land on the ground at her door before entering. Turning back towards the sky, them Mike quickly began to scan the skies for Ian, only to see nothing but various types of pigeons. When only a green letter shot past him, he quickly closed the door before moving to where the letter had opened itself. The small image of Ian was not what he had expected, but what he truly had never thought possible only served to follow afterwards. The amount of swears coming out of Ian's mouth was something he had never expected to hear from such a quiet person, but as the message ended, he could not help but fall back onto a chair.
Moving the chair over to the counter, he sat in it once again before putting his head into his hands. Darius had basically given the male a death sentence, but a funny one, so Mike could not help but chuckle. "I'd agree with you, but Ian may already be taking care of it. However, the demand for us to reveal ourselves to the public has become increasingly stronger now. We'll actually have to meet one another as either our civilian selves, or as our costumed selves. No doubt, the media will be out patrolling for the first sign of us they can get." Looking to the tv in her house, he began to wonder whether or not the event was being televised, but seeing as it was not his home, he would not touch anything of value without permission first.

Company: Alistair, Darius, Michael. Thoughts: Party Time!! Location: Apartment
[Taliana Lance][Sonokinesis][Legacy Initiative]
Taliana was not surprised at all when the speedster popped out of her cabinets. It was kinda bad that she had been expecting him to do that. How he got in would remain a mystery. And where the hell did he get twinkies from?! Taliana was not a sweets type of girl, so hopefully the boys would take care of the sugary heart-attacks sitting on her table. Taliana didn't mind the chicken that Darius made though. After finishing her soup, she would definitely have to try some of his creation. "A little garlic, some butter, some onions, chicken broth..." Taliana was in the middle of placing all the ingredients into the pot when a shimmering green light unfolded before her eyes. Ian's holographic image relayed a message about his absence in her home. A sigh passed her lips as she continued stirring all the ingredients together. A hero's work was never done; was it?! As much as she applauded Ian's initiative to go stop some idiot from endangering them all, it also reminded her that fun time would not last long. For them, peace was only for a moment. Tomorrow would bring them more struggles to face. The blonde looked down into her pot of soup, allowing herself to get lost in the aroma and wonderful orange color.
"Let them demand all they want. The citizens of this city can't be that foolish, can they?! It is we who protect them, and in turn, our masks protect us." The siren began ladling soup into four bowls as she commented on the matter at hand. The heroes needed secret identities because without them they were vulnerable to everyday attacks. Hell, Ian was already attracting Lanterns from all over the rainbow. Just think if that were the case for every hero. Who would need saving then?! Taliana set bowls down in front of the two boys before leaning up against the counter. She had thought long and hard about this. Forming it into words is what scared her, because a new future awaited the end of her sentence. Her cerulean orbs scanned both of her allies faces as she spoke. "That's why I believe it's time for a new League. Possibly, with us at the heart of it?!" Taliana looked to them for reassurance. She knew she couldn't be the only Legacy having this same feeling.

Darius would begin cutting the Chicken, Duck, and Turkey laying them side by side on the plate with a little sauce. He would then cut up some squares of macaroni and place them in the center of each plate his square obviously being the largest as he had the larger appetite and quicker metabolism. He would place the two plates in front of Taliana and Mike next to their soup bowls being careful not to knock them over. He would then go to sit in front of his own plate as he grabbed the remote and turned the TV on, unlike Mike he had no regard for the belongings of others much, or in his words, "Tu casa es mi casa." Darius would go to drink his soup finishing it in record time as he would then move onto the main course this one going down a bit slower as he looked at the TV, the area that it showed was familiar, and it seemed to be getting attacked by what was a....Dragon? made of fire and a giant bird man.
Darius kept watching as he ate, eating faster, he knew they would have to get up sooner or later, and he was in no hurry until he saw the museum in the background and the memorial statue. Darius' eyes grew wide as he let food fall out of his mouth and then he was gone. The food left in his plate and the door left wide open. "You've got to be ******** kidding me, maybe he was what came to the university, maybe now I can get answers and Ian can stop blaming himself this one's on me." Darius didn't even get the chance to respond to Taliana's statement which he too believed was a good idea, but he would tell her that later. As he took to the streets with his thumb and out popped his red suit and goggles. He spun around and into it with a quickness and then he was off, towards City Center, in Central City Kansas.

A L I S T A I R Z A K A R I U S ✄
"I want to hide the truth, I want to shelter you, But with the beast inside, there's nowhere we can hide."
Alistair had somehow managed to be the last to arrive, but none the less made it there in one piece. He had sent a quick text to Miss Takao and fortunately she let him stay with Miss Nightingale and the others for dinner. Afterwards, he would definitely have to head back to HQ. Still, wanting to savor each moment with his comrades, Alistair slipped in just after Superboy did, before taking a seat at the counter with the others. He was surprised to see the little image of Ian and felt a bit bad that he had to take care of so many things all at once on his own, but he guessed that was just what the life of a Green Lantern was like.
And as a simply agent of S.T.A.R Labs, Alistair chose to remain silent like before and listen to the heroes converse with each other. They needed their secret identities to protect themselves. It must be hard living a double life...

Company: Lonesome Thoughts:Mr.Sandman brought me a dream?! Location: Home
[Taliana Lance][Sonokinesis][Legacy Initiative]
"Agh!!" An glass shattering scream surged through Taliana's home as she awoke. The tempo of her heart had shifted from andante to allegro in a matter of seconds. Her skin had broken out in a cold sweat as she laid upright, unsure of what she had just seen. Cerulean orbs scanned the room as if waiting for the answer to come to her. Had it all been a dream?! Seeing her best friend dismiss her, or having some dream thief bashing her name; had it all been in her head? Taliana glanced at the time on her clock. It was as if she had never left Coast City that day. Although she was certain she had left, somehow, she was here. The siren was not one to be fooled by such trickery. that's it! The Sandman had tricked her! Then again, what proof did she have to support that claim. A sigh escaped her lips as she swung her legs over the bed. That dream had felt so real that she had a hard time disbelieving in any words that had been passed between the legacies during the confrontation. A case of 'double-think', the act of knowing something is false yet believing it with the conviction of it being true, seemed to be in play. Taliana thought she was finally going to do something good for once only to discover her journey had just got started. The dream was just a sign that what she was planning to do was the right thing. In spite of the differences she had with the other legacies, when it came down to it, they would make a perfect team. They were so close to destiny she could almost taste it. Taliana reached for her phone sitting on the nightstand near her bed and immediately began searching for a familiar number. The haze of her dream was finally passing over enough for her to think. But there was only one thing she could think about: Jonathan.
Ring! Ring!
Taliana held the phone to her ear in the hopes that Jonathan would pick up. No answer. Her anxiety began to kick in as the thought of her dream being a reality started to float around in her head again. Of course she knew that was impossible, but why else wouldn't he pick up? Taliana tugged at her bottom lip nervously before deciding to text him. She knew what had to be done. No matter what she dreamed, it was only what happened in actuality that counted. Taliana wanted Jonathan to know because of all the people in the world, she felt she could count on him the most. At least that's what she wanted to believe. She needed someone to tell her that everything would be okay, and that it what had happened in the past didn't matter so long as she strives towards a better future. Her heroism was checkered, and shady. It was much different from the other heroes because, like the Huntress, she had a pure hatred for crime on any level. To her the only way to stop it was to eradicate the agitators of crime one by one. If he was willing to forgive her then maybe she could forgive herself. She just wanted to keep her city safe. Was that too much to ask? Taliana's fingers flew across her keypad as she texted Jonathan. After her hectic night, it would be best for Jonathan to come here if possible. He was rich now, so it shouldn't be too much to ask.
Texting Jonathan Price Hey, do you think you could come see me anytime soon? It's urgent...
