I can give a quick rundown of the main portion of the plotline.
Basically, Jimi Hexdrix has hexed every musical act there so he can get all the attention and the entire fee for the talent. Band members have disappeared, instruments caught fire, etc, etc. The hex backfired in regards to Kai's band. The hex actually made them good which ticked off Jimi. In response, Jimi's goons roadies took all the acts hostage at this point(including Kai's band) so he can go onstage, close the show, and get the gold. What Jimi doesn't know is that when he hexed Harry Herne, it caused Harry to trip and lose the sack of gold down a kobold hole.
Also, Atomica and the Rest In Piece were also hexed which brings into question whether they can perform or not.
Meanwhile, Peggy Springwell got drafted into the Vanishing Club. The Club thought Woestock would be the perfect place to vanish. Peggy was paired with Rory and many hijinks caused by the hyper Peggy ensued. Rory ended up eating some tainted rainbow tofu fluff, saw double rainbows, and found a fat rainbow pony in Jimi Hexdrix's green room. At this point, Peggy noticed the roadies rounding up the musical acts and mysteriously vanished to go do something.
There are also a couple of sideplots...one with Grumpy Bat and one with Draconia's date but someone else can run you down on those because I don't know them as well as the main plotline. |

Marceline LaGhede So, hey. It's been a ridiculous month. So good news is, my husband accepted a fantastic job offer in Manhattan earlier this month! ... which he starts on Monday! This past month has been so incredibly condensed -- we had to find and close on a new place, arrange with movers and actually move all within 3 weeks. All while I was working full-time and being the only competent worker at my store besides my manager.... I've had a way-too-full plate of late and I'm sorry I haven't been active. On that note I've dropped down to part-time so I'm gonna have more time to keep up with the story, among other things. I've been lurking when I can, trying to make sense of the Woestock plotline right now but I'm more than a little bit lost... but I do have an idea of where I wanna go with Marceline for it. Drake, can we hash something out this week sometime? biggrin
Congratulations on your big move! And props to the husband as well for landing a great job.
Sorry I've fallen behind on the Ghostly Gossip plot updates; it's been a really busy time at my business and it's limited my online time. I'll try to get Spectra all up to date sometime this week.

Marceline LaGhede Draconia St George Unless anyone has some final words, I think we can consider Woestock another storyline officially over! So what's next? Final Hexams, the end of the Fall/Winter Scaremester. The last Skulltimate Roller Maze match, and then....Cryptmas Break! For the sake of the new peoples, we'll keep rping final hexams brief. They'll take place over the course of a single day of school (Monday, presumably). Also taking place this day is final projects presentation (Art Class, Home Ick) and the Drama Class one-act play, which will take place at the 'end' of the day. What else do people want to rp during Cryptmas break? Let's hear some ideas and suggestions. I wouldn't mind a brief Rorceline moment at Woestock if we can squeeze one in? I had a plan for it -- basically involving her trying to make up but things getting misconstrued and getting worse between them -- but things got crazy and I never fleshed it out. ._. As for Cryptmas break, Marcie's still up in the air whether she wants to go home for the howlidays... she can't exactly take a shortcut through the mirrorverse this time what with her and Rory being broken up for-reals and all... Would like to flesh out her relationships with other characters a bit since I'm kinda rusty with her lately. I'm sorry I can't think of specific things to have happen... maybe a tree lighting ceremony? A Secret Santa?
secret Santa Claws is a really great idea, think of all the insanity that will ensue depending on who gets who! Let's put that in motion for sure. |
