Drakiel listened once again to what she said. He thought about what she said. "Alright" he said and closed his eyes again. He tried to think of something that would motivate him to put his soul into his fighting and the first thing that he popped his mind was the images of Pandora being hurt and he tightened his grip on the sword and opened his eyes. With this feeling of wanting to protect her and stop those people from hurting her he struck again. .

This time. his sword connected with her armor. It was a glance, not worth counting to most, but this was a Vampire against a Valkyrie. It wasn't a fair fight to begin with. The fact he managed to get anything close to a blow on Sigrun was very formidable.

"Good. What you felt was strong and powerful. That emotion went to your sword, and it amplified it in a strike. If you continue to grow those emotions within your soul, if you hold on to them and feed them, you can be faster and stronger than any before you. Enemies will tremble when they see you enter the battlefield," Sigrun said as she turned to face a statue in the corner. She sheathed her sword and took a longer stance, preparing to draw her blade.

"Watch closely. You will be the first to witness my most reputable strike and live to tell the tale," Sigrun stated. She closed her eyes and breathed in. The instant she opened her eyes, she breathed out with a yell and drew her blade. It happened so fast it was impossible to see, but if you watched closely you could tell Sigrun drew the blade and resheathed it before one could blink. The statue crumbled into dust after a moment and Sigrun grinned.

"You listen to that sword. It will tell you it's secrets in due time. It needs a name befitting for it. Once you name a sword, it is part of you forever. No other soul can weild it but you. My sword is Forlorn Silence, and she knows my heart as I know hers," she explained.

Drakiel was shocked he actually touched her armor. He looked at her as she spoke about growing those emotions. "What if I am not entirely sure what it is that emotion I felt is?" He asked her. He honestly didn't know why thinking of Pandora being hurt did that to him. He watched as she showed him her move and paid close attention. He was amazed by the skill and connection she had to her sword. He looked at his sword after what she said. "I'll name it...Guardian of Sanguinity"he said and placed the sword in its Scabard on his hip.

Otherwise, Guardian and Sanuinity will falter in battle," Sigrun answered.

Drakiel didn't understand. "How do I do that? How do I discover the answer to an emotion I've never felt before now" he stated. He looked at his sword knowing he really needed to find the answer to this emotion. He wasn't sure what it was but if that emotion is what will strengthen his bond with his sword he would try his best.

"That is something you have to figure out for yourself. Trust the instincts you initially want to deny, listen to the voice in your head you turn a blind eye to. This is your sword and your emotion, nothing I say will help you now. This is something you have to face," she replied. She looked to the hallway where the others would be. She knew he thought of Pandora, of protecting her, and it only made her realise that it had happened before. Maybe that was why the clans began fighting....but it didn't make sense. Love wouldn't cause a feud, it was something darker than that.

Drakiel listened to what she said and nodded. "Alright thank you Sigrun" he said and bowed before excusing himself. He walked down the hall. He wanted to talk to Lucifer since technically he was the only person he had close to a friend here. He wanted to figure this out but his knowledge is limited. He walked to the area if knew he would be. "Lucifer could I speak to you for a moment?" he asked him.

Sigrun watched him leave before Pandora came in to train after him.

Lucifer looked to Drakiel and nodded, walking to a side room and closed the door after Drakiel walked in. Once in a room without the others, he removed the neck-brace and sat his head in his lap. He felt more uncomfortable with his head on his shoulders than it sitting in his arms or his lap. "What can I help you with, young one?" he asked politely.

Drakiel followed him to the room and took a seat near him so they could speak. He didn't mind him not having his head on at all. He wasn't sure if being formal was natural to him or not so he decided to speak formally to him. "Lucifer I need help discovering what this feeling I have been having is. It's a feeling I've never felt before. When we went to rest I had a nightmare that everyone around me was getting hurt including Pandora. When I awoke I was in cold sweat and had an urge to make sure she was okay" he said starting to explain to him how he suddenly felt this. "I went to her room to check on her and had an urge to reach out and make sure she was actually there. I creeped her out I am sure but I had no idea why I did it" he continued. "As I was training with Sigrun she said I needed something to motivate me as I closed my eyes the only thought to come to me was protecting Pandora. That though allowed me to connect so well with my sword but Sigrun said I must grow that emotion to make my bond stronger but I do not know what this emotion could be. Would you happen to know? You've been around far longer then I have" he said asking for his help.

Lucifer pondered for a moment before he held up two entwined necklaces. "Have you heard of the story of Radcliffe and Josephina? One day, they decided to run away, to seal their love with marriage. But, they were betrayed. Josephina faked her death by poisoning to try and seal her escape, but Radcliffe saw her and killed himself. Unable to deal with a life without him, Josephina took her own life. Although saddened by the deaths of the children, the clans stopped their feud," Lucifer began.

"Most think it a silly little story by a poet trying to reach fame, but those of us old enough know it holds elements of truth. The past of the Vialos and Faye clans are surrounded in shadows and mystery, but many believe that it was not a murder than split the clans, but a love affair between two members. I do not know for certain if this be the case, but should it be, then the Lady Bathed In Snow will be able to confirm it," he concluded.

He then thought for a long time, "I have a feeling that you and Pandora have been connected far longer than you have thought. There is a bond between you, whether romantic or platonic, that cannot be severed."

Drakiel listened to his story of the tragic love between two people in different clans. He had never heard the story before or anything like it. He actually never remembered hearing anyone use the word love where he lived and grew up. He never learned about this love that these two people experienced with each other. The idea of love being the cause of the war was actually surprising. He would never have thought of that. "I never learned about love. To think that Pandora and I could be or have been connected in a way like that as you have said whether romantic or platonic is still hard to wrap my head around. Although you are telling me that this feeling I have towards her has to do with this emotion you said is love?" he asked him. He wondered how he should go about this. "I am not good at bonding with people and I know I creeped her out earlier so I do not how to go about discovering what connection I have with her" he admitted to him.

Lucifer smiled, although most wouldn't know since his head was in his lap instead of on his shoulders. "Love is a complicated emotion, but it is the strongest of all; even stronger than that of hate. You can love someone as a sibling, you can love someone as a friend, or you can love someone in a romantic way. There are many forms of love for every person on this planet. What kind of love you feel towards her is up to you to discover. The thing is, you shouldn't look too hard," he began.

"And maybe, next time you talk to Pandora, we ask for permission to touch her. A lot of people have a thing with personal space," he joked.
